Professional and personable, they know their product inside and out and will go above and beyond to make sure they are providing the best support they possibly can. Implementation services run like a well oiled machine and even the developers will not hesitate to get involved to see any issue resolved. Being a small customer who has worked with Synergis numerous times, I am always very impressed with their process and dedication to the success of their customers. They are a pleasure to work with and we always have a few laughs along the way. In my many years working in IT and the countless vendors I've worked with in that time, I know that having reliable support is the most important aspect of any sofware and Synergis is truly the Gold standard. With Adept, we were able to standardize the management software, collect the appropriate metadata, and bring things together to be able to secure and control the documents and enhance the searchability and make it easier to find documents, while providing improved control over access, limiting access of sensitive materials to only approved users.. Adept is very customizable to fit the company's workflow. It's relatively easy to use, but it does have a steep learning curve. IT-wise, implementation is easy. But making the customization and rules so that it fits neatly into how the organization works requires a dedicated team. What do you dislike about Synergis Adept? From my usage so far, Adept is not the ideal "Windows Explorer" replacement yet. It's very tedious to browse documents fast. We're still in the early stages of moving everyone to Adept fully, so it might be because not everyone is cataloging the documents as intended. The technical support is very excellent. I recently had an issue with Tomcat having to be upgraded and Technical Support came to my rescue. Dean was excellent from the time I put in the ticket and he responded immediately. We ran into a little issue, however, Dean was able to resolve along with help his collogue asap. Adept has great version control and links well with our AutoCAD drawings. I also love the Metadata concept of flat storage and search criteria rather than a mess of folders. There is also not much flexibility in our current setup, nor is there a way to quickly pivot the system to improve the layout. The viewer, however, is by far the most significant pain point.
