It’s the hands-off nature. The fact that it ’does what it says on the tin’ in terms of being

maintenance free. It doesn’t need any additional input – it just works in the background.

Sometimes people with these solutions promise things that are automated or self sustaining

or don’t need input, but in real life it’s not that simple. Whereby Videoly was not only

implemented quickly, but – with the exception of one or two small things that we pointed

out – was truly hands off. It just worked. It’s also worth calling out that the implementation

Coverage didn’t get as high as expected. We’re at about 18% about nine months on. I hoped

we’d get better coverage than that and we might in due course. I know we wont’ get to

100% - that’s not my expectation. But it feels like the coverage rate has plateaud a bit over

We do not have to put manual resources into embedding YouTube product video content. As we are a small team, we can use the time more productively. The best thing about Videoly is its automation. It connects automatically videos to our +10K products range and their curation team is here to ensure that the videos are legit and relevant. We have more than 3000 videos as of today!

The most important thing for us is the revenue-increase automated video content from Videoly is bringing to the table. We see this in increased conversions, average order value and enhanced customer experience.

We started to test Videoly out on our Swedish site and we were happy with the results on product pages showing video content. Did a comparative test measuring performance on the same product pages without/with the video player - the conversion rate was 50% higher and average order value 24 % higher when videos were watched. After a few months, we decided to scale the service to the UK, Norway and Germany where we’ve also seen the video content performing well.
