Integration with frameworks like Angular has been straightforward, which made the onboarding process smoother than expected. **What do you dislike about Essential Studio?** Some of the components take more effort to customize than I’d like, and the setup process isn’t as intuitive as it could be. I use other software development frameworks, and what strikes me in comparison, is how rarely I am asked to provide more information or additional code. They have a great ability to find the issue within their own test code from the details I provide. This means I am more likley to report an issue instead of working around it which hopefully makes their product better as well. There are components for a variety of languages and they work well together. I have been using the Vue package. I have found the support team to be absolutely excellent on the two occasiona I have had to contact them. They responded promptly by email and were very keen to resolve the issues I was having. There are a huge range of components on offer, and I look forward to trying more of them in the future. The community license is hugely helpful to smaller businesses. **What do you dislike about Essential Studio?** The support videos are narrated by a robotic voice, which is offputting at times. However, the component that saved me and speeded up my project is Dashboard Layout, even if there are some things that I wasn't able to change, I find it very important and will continue to explore it. **What do you dislike about Essential Studio?** The most difficult component for me is Card, I was unable to adapt the dimensions dynamically, especially when the monitor resolution changes. I didn't find any examples in the guide or forums to change the height and width. Trial the community version as well to get a feel of their offering. A much smoother ride than trying to do stuff in the Adobe API overall. Being a startup the free tier really helps sell adoption internally, with a smooth ramp to volume pricing. Very good support on their forum. **What do you dislike about Essential Studio?** They are too tightly bound to .NET frameworks and apparently haven't adopted devops automated tests to ensure code quality of their libraries. Whenever I wander a little ways off their examples, I get either a hang or at best, an obscure internal error from deep inside their code. Given .NET overhead, it shouldn't be much of a slowdown to check all of their inputs and state assumptions. They seem to be working from design by cool example rather than big projects. For example given a PDFpage object, which index of which document is it in? Adobe's API is a little bit more flexible, up until you hit the limits Adobe's lawyers set and then your project dies horribly. **What problems is Essential Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently using it as a toolkit to extract information from old PDFs to build new PDFs. ### 34. They are much better than what we could come up with. **What do you dislike about Essential Studio?** The lack of examples and documentation. Also, the Vue components are clearly just a proxy on the JavaScript components which means some ofthe great data binding functionality within Vue is not available. **What problems is Essential Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Provides us with a consistent set of components for our web applications. Sometimes, it work at a certain version and does not work on the next one. As we update the product as soon as possibile when a new version is out, it's pretty problematic and we are going to change our way to update the product and stop following the last version everytime. **What problems is Essential Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** It decreases the time of development because a lot of feature is present in each control. It's pretty easy to work with all the control library, the forum and the ticketing system is a good point. The short answer time is also good. ### 41. The granular nature of the components also means we can pick and choose what is required and not have to import the entire control library and bloat the app footprint unnecessarily. **What do you dislike about Essential Studio?** There are some inconsistencies in the way you interact and customise some controls. This has been particularly obvious when trying to implement a multi-select hierarchical combo by combining two controls that don't really want to play nice with each other as they do things slightly differently. **What problems is Essential Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Providing a more interactive and engaging user interface across multiple platforms from a single code base. And then of course document processing libraries. The other components are not used in our company almost at all. **What do you dislike about Essential Studio?** The hideous UI, Jesus Christ, it's so ugly. This is the only part about Syncfusion I dislike very much. I know it's quite hard creating components for all of these design systems, but perhaps if you already get into that many, at least commit yourselves to it. Take some notes, for example, from MudBlazor, a "mostly" spot-on design resembling the original material.io system. Another thing is the lack of CSS variables with that nonsense UI generator for colours that takes so much time to load and generate fixed colours; the only good thing is that I don't have to do that very often. **What problems is Essential Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Development of software for our clients that is particular. ### 45.
