Sync is a Canadian company with servers in Canada. Therefore, it's the only cloud server I know that is Health Canada compliant for dealing with any sensitive medical information. Not every application has native code to save and pull files from Sync. In the film & television space, it would be great if sync could work with Scriptation and Highland. There are so many good things I could say about Sync.com, the pricing, the amount of storage you can get, and the UX/UI, but what I love most is the accessibility. As someone who’s always on the go, I wanted a cloud storage tool I can access from anywhere and have readily available whenever I need it. Sync does exactly that. Very easy to use, and you can share files and folders with family instead of using Google Drive or similar software. I have several interests that generate a lot of data. It has always been a pain to keep everything in one place and still save it on a separate drive. A few years ago, my external drive crashed and it contained my data. It took weeks and $1,500 to recover it. With Sync, my data is stored with little or no effort. Best cloud service, love that all my working files do sync as I work on them, this service is 1000 way better than Dropbox wich I quick when I found Sync.com, Sync is reliable, great price, amazing product and customer service is top notch, when having issue, oh boy they are quick to respond and found solution to resolve. I like Sync.com for its ability to have Canadian storage, which is crucial for compliance with storage safety rules for Canadian data. Additionally, I appreciate the secure method it provides for clients to upload files, as it helps avoid the use of email for file transfers. I wish there was a way for there to be a client portal that they can log in and upload things. Essentially, I would like to send a link to my client, have them set up an account specifically tied to me, so they can access documents inside the folder, upload, or download as needed, and set up their own username and password. I appreciate that it's encrypted, which is important for storing documents and videos of my projects. I find it incredibly convenient that I can access it through my phone or laptop anytime, anywhere. The customer service is reasonable and they're always happy to assist.
