Halo Health allows me to get ahold of anyone that is here for a shift in a certain department, if I were to type in respitory department it would let me know who is here and who the charge is for that shift. It really helps me solve problems with nursing staff, since I'm a leader in house keeping and something is left in a room such as medications or patient belongings, I can just send a message to the charge nurse of that unit and there are there in minutes to take care of the problem. We use it every day to communicate with Medical Director and Anesthesia staff regarding patient concerns before they are admitted, patient concerns while they are here, and to share the daily surgery schedule with the anesthesia staff.
