Symantec has helped secure all the school systems very easily. Students are not allowed to access sites which are not meant for them, access control is a wonderful feature. It works in the background all the time to identify any threats and remove them or quarantine from systems. This has also proven to be an asset to prevent any malware attacks in our systems. The startup of systems becomes slow when Symantec is installed in system as it always `activates when systems reboot. All the systems are up-to-date with latest web threats detection technology. Also, the systems have access control installed so only few domains are available to be accessed by the students. It is a good software for all-around protection of systems. Authorization based access to systems and not allowing certain websites to be accessed by students are the best features of it. It is very easy to use as it continues to secure computers in the background while user continues to work on their tasks without any interruptions. Also, as they are not allowed to download any content from internet in the first place, chances of computers and school servers getting infected by malicious software is very minimal. Symantec WebFilter tool is pretty proactive in detecting threats to the systems. Its anti-malware technology is helping us protect our systems and servers from online threats. It is installed in the systems as part of the entire Symantec Web Suite and is very easy to use as it continuously works in the background to analyze users and their activity. Symantec allows to configure access to systems and certain websites easily. It also helps in detecting and blocking online threats. User access control is one of the best features of this software. To prevent students and staff from browsing the internet for inappropriate content and downloading malicious software knowingly or unknowingly, we configure Symantec to block and limit browsing capabilities. This prevents our systems from being hacked and also from dangerous malware and spyware online. Most of the threats are easily averted, thus preventing any downtime for our school servers.
