It allows accounts with special privileges to filter certain web content and block harmful or inappropriate websites. It also has real-time threat protection so the service is constantly in use to protect you from potentially harmful websites. There's also cloud intergration so the service is linked to the cloud meaning your data is protected alongside the whole security platform. The customer service the platform provides has been useful when I have had to use it. As well as this the implementation f installing the service was relatively easy too. Due to my frequent usage of this platform I don't think i could go back to not using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Symantec WebFilter / Intelligence Services? While it is useful in the services it provides, it can be relatively expensive especially for smaller businesses on smaller budgets. Organisations looking to get a service like this one should probably assess that they can afford it, but if they can should definitely get it because it is a good service as reasoned with in my last answer. Sometimes the ease of use in the UI can be a little less intuitive or simple-looking as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Symantec WebFilter / Intelligence Services solving and how is that benefiting you? A common business problem for most businesses, and in this case mine is threats online. Symantec is able to instantly detect and prevent users from accessing harmful websites that they may be unware of ultimately protecting the business as a whole. The service goes one step further with this and lists the webiste as an identified threat, blocking future access. There is also regulatory compliance standards amongst the platform which helps basically businesses like mine comply with certain industry-specific regulations (most commonly GDPR for email related which also helps us to be protected form phishing attemps).
