Tools are provided to manage the full life cycle of client devices, with integration with other Symantec products. With time and careful implementation a zero-touch administration can be achieved; based on the client location on the network or even the user (or type of user) which most often uses the device.

More recent versions of CMS have made vast improvements on the user interface and the expert and community support is among the best and most helpful I've experienced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It can take a long time to really get used to the product and its capabilities. There is a vast amount that can be managed with Symantec CMS but it can be complicated to work the methods out and how the vast array of tools relates to achieve this.

In fairness, this kind of complication is in the nature of the type of product as one size would not fit all, but it does make building a system like this a daunting task that I would definitely not approach without consultancy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
