I found this software to be quite "Mac like" - I was able to layout a 40 page graphic book in minutes. For years I used microsoft publisher and found it to be the best, user friendly tool for creating documents outside of high end programs that are outside the scope of simple projects I create. Once I switched to mac, my biggest frustration was publisher not being available, and pages isn't comparable on any level. After searching through multiple options I found Swift Publisher and it was the closest thing to publisher out there. Very intuitive and useful to create documents when you are wanting more options than the limitations found in Word. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Swift Publisher? The only dislike is that because it's a smaller company and program it isn't compatible for most people I might share documents with. I can easily save as a pdf and pass it on, but unless another person also has Swift, they won't be able to work with the document themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Swift Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you? I'm able to make great looking documents in an open space without the confinements involved with using Microsoft Word. It is hard not to mention price when asked “what do you like best” I say it is almost a steal for such powerful desktop publishing software. With the huge amount of (500 +) templates, you will always have a good place to start. Very handy when you have a non creative moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Swift Publisher? There is not much to dislike. It might take some time to get to know where all features are located within the application.

Recommendations to others considering Swift Publisher: Download the trial version from the Swift Publisher website and play around with the software. Then you will likely come to the conclusion that is indeed a steal and you will proceed and purchase. 
Then I recommend getting the “Extra Pack” which will extend the already generous Clipart collection with 40K images and 100 additional fonts! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. This product is perfect for those people who need quality content, but don't have time to learn a pro software. At the price tag, it's definitely worth it and its very intuitive. Recommendations to others considering Swift Publisher: Depends on what you need. But if you are looking for an easy to use, entry level product, you may have found the one! You could use many other products to design what you could design with Swift Publisher, but I doubt you'll do it in less time. Sure, its not the same as hiring a designer, but it works pretty well. As a start-up we want to be able to design fast and (if possible) in house.
