It offers a 3d type viewing engine for displaying furniture and other items within designated rooms. The program is not the most up to date nor the easiest to use. However, it does a number of different types of furniture and other objects that can be manipulated to produce a fairly accurate view of what a house will look like after its furnishings are moved in. Where it excels is the price tag, which can be quite nice. **What do you dislike about Sweet Home 3D?** The interface could definitely use updates and its object library functions could be expanded as well. The layout tools are not always intuitive and the program can run slowly at times. Essentially you are getting what you pay for and that is not necessarily a bad thing. The program feels like a bargain basement product at times but still works. **Recommendations to others considering Sweet Home 3D:** Definitely consider other products on the market and look at more expensive products. The price increase for a better product might be worth it for some consumers. On the other hand, the program does work fairly well without too many bells and whistles.
