Although all flavors of Linux are perfect for enterprise grade DB hosting, SUSE comes on top in terms of flexibility and ease of management. Especially if you are running SAP Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SUSE Linux Enterprise Real Time?

The initial setup can be a bit too complicated for first timers. SUSE is relatively less seen compared to lets say RedHat or even Ubuntu Servers. Hence the administrators might not be fully comfortable with having SUSE Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SUSE Linux Enterprise Real Time?

Suse linux is best so far in terms of using it for day to day work. Commands are quite easy and its very user friendly. Beat part of Suse Linux is its security part. And creating cluster in suse linux is just an amazing thing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is nothing which i dislike. Sometimes it is hard to hold support when you are on long calls with customer and they want them to be on the call. But otherwise support is good and knowledgeable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SUSE Linux Enterprise Real Time?

Not a fan of the package manager used by SUSE and the subtle differences from Fedora/RedHat linux. A lot of the software we use has difficulty running on SUSE and often requires additional modifications to install or run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
