"Highly Customizable Surveys with Clear, Easy-to-Read Results"
4/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

I love how customizable SurveyMonkey is! Being able to add tags to answers saved me a ton of time. The results were easy to understand and had a nice display. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

Getting used to the software took a little bit of time. Somethings weren't as intuitive as I expected. If you were to use it consistently though, I don't think it would be a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Surveys with Intelligent Analytics That Save Time"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

The best part of SurveyMonkey is its combination of user-friendly survey design and intelligent analytics. Creating surveys takes only a few minutes, and the built-in reporting tools make it easy to identify trends and insights. It helps us gather quality feedback at scale while saving significant time on analysis Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

One area for improvement is the pricing structure, as some advanced features and reporting capabilities are only available in higher-tier plans. While the platform is easy to use, organizations with more complex survey requirements may find certain customization options somewhat limited Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Survey Builder with Fast Publishing and Clear Reporting Dashboards"
5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

Creating questions is straightforward and the variety of options is great. It is intuitive and user-friendly, with a built-in QR code feature.

I can quickly create a survey within minutes and have it published live.

I also love the reporting where it gives a dashboard with a summary of responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

Questions should be more customizable. For example, I should be able to add or remove as many labels as I want within a question. I should also be able to number questions individually, and choose not to number a particular question when needed.

For anonymous surveys, users currently need to be on the same browser and device to access them, but we should be able to resend the survey while keeping their saved data. The other option is for them to register with their email, which is a lengthy process and discourages them from completing surveys. There should be a middle option.

Also, there’s no way to provide a pre-defined reference for questions that users can open in parallel while answering, which would help them respond more accurately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SurveyMonkey’s Skip Logic Makes Personalized Surveys Fast and Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

What I like most about SurveyMonkey is its skip logic and branching features, which make it easy to create personalized surveys based on respondents' answers. The interface is intuitive, responses are collected in real time, and the reporting tools help analyze data quickly. It saves me time and makes surveys much more effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

One thing I don't like is that there's no proper support or guidance when you want to build very specific or complex survey logic. I usually have to figure it out through trial and error, which can be time-consuming. It would be much better if there were clearer documentation or support (Call) for advanced logic setups. "Great templates and branding, but recent UI updates made key dashboards harder to find"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

The many existing templates to choose from and how I can brand each survey individually or simply collect collector settings from a previous survey. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

After some updates it seems the UI got a bit more complicated. The overview tab disappeared and in the past I was able to check the LOI of a survey on a dashboard or in the individual result tab, but it is not there anymore.

Also when I want to add more than one survey link collector now and want to do so by copying the first collector it is really difficult to get to the collector overview where all collectors are listed up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear, Shareable Survey Results with Easy PDF Downloads"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

I really enjoy being able to analyze the results after I’ve closed a survey. The results are presented in a clear, easy-to-understand way. I also like that I can share a link to the results with others or simply download them as a PDF. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

I’ve run into a couple of areas that are difficult to navigate. The first issue is closing a survey. I’ve created several surveys, and each time I go to close one, I forget where the option is and end up having to Google it or ask ChatGPT just to find it. I feel the “close collector” option could be placed in a more user-friendly, easy-to-find spot. I’d love to see it available right on the main page with all the surveys, when you click the three dots, it could be an option there.

Secondly, I think there’s room for improvement in the survey-building experience, especially with the "page" feature. It would help if that part were a bit more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly and Customizable—Makes Repeat Surveys a Breeze"
5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

What is helpful with survey monkey is how user friendly it is. It allows me to customize it to my programs needs and if it is a repeat event, I can just copy the survey in its entirety. With that, it allows my work day to go a lot smoother because I am not spending unnecessary time repeating information that I already have asked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

Some downsides to survey monkey that I have experienced is the ability to send a confirmation email that people have completed their survey so they can have in their records. Also the themes are outdated, it would be great to have access to other backgrounds to have creative surveys. Possibly a partnership with canva to offer personal options. "Effortless Surveys with Powerful Insights"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

I like how easy it is to set up surveys and send them out with SurveyMonkey, and analyzing the results is super easy too. The analyze results feature really helps categorize all of the answers and gives me a clear direction on where to head next for our programs. I also appreciate the easier customization, and it feels like there's a lot more logic that can be added to the surveys. Overall, it's easier to use, and there's no need for respondents to sign in, which is a huge obstacle in Google Forms. The initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

I would like to see an easier way to deal with individual responses to surveys. Right now, it's a little bit clunky, but it could probably be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Setup, Efficient for Survey Programming"
4/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

I like that I can pretty simply program a survey with SurveyMonkey. There's not a ton of options, but I know how it works, and the options available do work well for me. I appreciate that I can get pricing for an audience pretty easily, which is helpful when I'm doing proposals for consulting. I also find it convenient to use the analysis tool, especially for cross tabs, and I can export data when needed. The initial setup was very easy, and having used it for a long time, I'm quite familiar with its workings. It's been a reliable tool for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

I feel like I'm often using SurveyMonkey to its maximum capacity and hit a wall with what I want to do. One thing I can't do is route people to different lanes in the survey. I've had to add a dummy question, like selecting a top color, to get two different routes, which is not ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SurveyMonkey Makes Creating, Sharing, and Analyzing Surveys Fast and Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

One of the best things about SurveyMonkey is how easy it is to create, distribute, and analyze surveys without needing any technical expertise. The drag-and-drop interface, customizable templates, and wide variety of question types make it simple to build professional-looking surveys in minutes.

Overall, it’s very straightforward and user-friendly for both beginners and experienced users. The ready-made templates save a lot of time, and it integrates easily with MS Teams and Google workspace. Sharing surveys is also simple, whether via email or web links. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

The advanced reporting and dashboard capabilities can feel a bit basic for organizations that need deeper data analysis. Pricing can also get expensive for small businesses or teams that require multiple user licenses. In addition, some integrations and automation features may require premium plans or extra setup to work as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
