"The only way to survey"
5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

I like the updated reporting features and how easy they make it to export and analyze survey results. The platform feels more streamlined and user-friendly than before, making it quicker to find the information I need. I also appreciate how the reports are presented in a clear, organized format, which makes it easier to identify trends and share results with others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

It would be helpful to have more reporting customization options, especially when filtering, grouping, and formatting data for different audiences. Making the data analysis tools even more intuitive and adding greater flexibility when exporting reports would further improve the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Well-Integrated Surveys with Zapier and Powerful Conditional Logic"
4/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

I like that it is a well-integrated platform; I can connect it to other services, especially Zapier, to work with data and easily automate workflows. I also like that the conditional logic makes it easy to fine-tune which questions users see so that a single survey can cover many edge cases.

Support has historically been very responsive. When we had issues with our account's plan that affected visibility of our surveys, we were able to get it resolved fairly quickly.

The service also seems to be reliable from an uptime perspective. We've never had any issues with downtime or unavailability of surveys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

Things that feel like they should be easy, like line breaks in the description at the beginning of a survey, seem to behave inconsistently. I also feel like SurveyMonkey is pricy relative to the value I receive from it, but this may just be because some of the features aren't relative to our use case. I wish there was more support for customizing the visual feel of our surveys with custom CSS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stable, Reliable, and Competitive"
5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

I use SurveyMonkey for scientific research, especially in collecting large amounts of data. I like its stability; I have never been caught off guard by updates or bugs throughout my years of use. The reliability is great, as I can store various data on the platform without worrying about loss or distortion. The price is competitive in Brazil, which I consider a great benefit. Additionally, the initial setup of SurveyMonkey is simple and intuitive. I decided to switch to SurveyMonkey because I found the platform lighter, faster, and with the best cost-benefit after trying other options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

I find it difficult to further alter the design of how questionnaires are presented on different devices. I frequently use collections on mobile phones, and for some older models, which are common in Brazil, the screen adjustment becomes very small or does not facilitate interaction. It could be easier if we had alternatives for scaling adjustments for different screens and resolutions. This also impacts older and slower phones, which would help us think of alternatives. "Easy to Use for Everyone, with Powerful Tools and Resources"
5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

It is easy to use without having to be a statistician or engineer to use the software. There are plenty of in depths tools and resources available to those who want to use additional features, reports, etc. but it can easily be used by just about everyone to gather helpful data for your company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

It can be hard to understand the benefits / downsides of the different account types when it comes to pricing opportunities. Some of the "level ups" don't seem to provide what I would want / expect out of a higher plan or subscription. This may be specific to our company however because we currently use Survey Monkey in a very specific way and are not utilizing every possibility of the services just due to what we need the most. "Simple UI, Helpful Support, and Smart AI Insights for Customer Feedback"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

Survey monkey has helped us in getting feedback from our customers as well as partners. The User interface is simple to use without requiring much research on the website. We have rarely faced any performance issues across the timezone while navigating actions through the site. The pricing provided for licensing is moderate considering the options available. Simple integration with MS teams & Outlook has made execution easier for us. The support chat has always been helpful in timely resolution of issues. The latest AI features have helped in providing trends & anomalies in survey responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

They do not allow multi devices usage for a single ID, you have to delete the login from one system before using in another. This creates problems when switching to devices. Suggestion would be to allow users to use on multiple devices, however not at the same Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use but Needs Better Data Analysis"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

I like that SurveyMonkey is really user-friendly and intuitive. It's easy to create questions and design them in a way that matches our organization. Sharing with colleagues for editing purposes is simple, and I find it easy to update and duplicate surveys as needed. The platform allows for team members to engage without a lot of background experience, making it functional across different types of programs and data collection needs. Overall, it fits seamlessly within our organization and it's easy to onboard new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

Sometimes I struggle with the analyzing of the data portion. It's difficult to get the data in the form that is most helpful for us. I don't love the way you download the data, and the naming features make it difficult to work with the files or the data after it's been collected. Sometimes it's difficult to see whom something is shared with, and how to share it with other colleagues that we might want to incorporate into a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very solid, feature rich product which could be more affordable and accessible"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

It offers a wide range of features and an interface that runs smoothly. When it comes to quizzing and creating surveys, there’s very little it can’t do. We have 5 versions of our survey up, each in a different language in order to determine meal satisfaction. SurveyMonkey keeps our data organized and safe. We use their integration with Google Sheets to take our data interpretation to the next level. The pricing is quite high and we cannot currently afford their top level which would allow for a single survey in different languages. Overall, the performance is good. We do not use ant of their AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

It can be too complicated and over engineered in many ways. The cost is prohibitive for many organizations. One feels locked in if you need to run surveys for a long period of time. There is no onboarding support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Feedback Collection and Insightful Analysis"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

I use SurveyMonkey to create surveys and collect feedback for work, and it has made the entire process much more efficient. The platform is very intuitive, so creating surveys is quick, even for more detailed projects. The setup was straightforward, and I was able to start building surveys with very little learning curve.

The feature I find most valuable is **Analyze Results**. Instead of exporting data and spending time organizing responses in spreadsheets, SurveyMonkey automatically presents the results in an easy-to-read format with charts and trends. This makes it much faster to identify patterns, summarize feedback, and share insights with my team. It has significantly reduced the amount of manual work I used to do after every survey.

Navigation throughout the platform is simple, and I can easily find the tools I need without wasting time searching through menus. An unexpected benefit has been how much time it saves when reviewing large numbers of responses, allowing me to focus more on acting on the feedback rather than organizing it.

Before SurveyMonkey, we used Microsoft Forms to create surveys. While it worked for basic surveys, SurveyMonkey has made both survey creation and data analysis much more efficient. Overall, it's been the best survey platform I've used, and it has noticeably improved my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

Overall, I've had a great experience with SurveyMonkey and haven't run into many issues. If I could improve anything, it would be the pricing and plan options. Some of the more advanced analysis features would be helpful to have included in the lower-priced plans, especially for users who rely on reporting but don't need every premium feature.

I also found the subscription options a little confusing. I had trouble finding the monthly plan and ended up purchasing the annual subscription instead. Making the different billing options more visible during the checkout process would make it easier for customers to choose the plan that best fits their needs.

Other than that, I've found the platform easy to use, reliable, and straightforward. The onboarding process was simple, the interface is intuitive, and I've had a very positive experience overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robus Templates, Easy Sharing, Real Results - SurveyMonkey Powers Our Product Decisions"
5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

SurveyMonkey is very intuitive and easy to use. You do not have to be an expert at writing survey questions SuveyMonkey allows you to start with an idea, template for users can build the survey's from scratch leveraging a templatized question. There are hundreds of templates to chose from broken down by different focus areas. I also am loving starting from an idea. I can type in my thoughts and the tool will create a survey that I can edit based on my ideas! The tool is easy to integrate with other platforms, I work for an ed tech company and use it for NPS survey in our LMS (BenchPrep, Thought Industries) to rate user experience and impact of our courses and content. We also use the tool for market research and customer feedback. The platform is robust and provides several output options that are easily shareable so I can always quickly run an analysis and share it in multiple formats with my stakeholders. Pricing is reasonable, we have a company instance with several users across various teams and it is easy to share surveys with other teams so you are not reinventing the wheel. The tool is so easy I have not had to leverage onboarding or support, it always works and easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

The main thing that would make this more self-serve is a knowledge base. There are so many features and so much functionality that having easily searchable topics based on common questions and/or specific features would really help. It could optimize usage and impact, and it would improve the overall experience and onboarding by letting users educate themselves on the available features and functionalities. Much more seamless. With our LMS we have the ability to access the knowledge base and search on topics and then self help articles with instructions are served up. This minimizes the need to go direct for support. That is the only feature I can think of that would make this platform even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Customizable Surveys with Strong Branding, Tracking, Reporting, and Payment Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?

Customization in the form fields, ability to use branding requirements of my organization, variety of ways to send and track responses, reporting features, integration with online payment of survey recipient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?

A missing feature is the ability to automatically remove a list or bullet option once the maximum number of responses for that option has been reached. For example, if there is a max of 12 registrations for a specific speaker panel, the 13th (and later) respondent should no longer see that speaker panel as an option to select.

Also, the inability to allow payment for different cost options is less than satisfactory. For example, respondents must $10 for an S-XL shirt size and $15 for 2XL+. I am unable to identify how to configure Stripe and Surveymonkey to charge two different costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
