I dislike the time it takes for results to come in when there are certain filters. The customer service has been challenging

I like the layout options of how I can view my data and info.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The cost, and that there isn't an 800 # where you can call with a quick question.  Troubleshooting feels like you're on your own.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us capture how students feel about our many education programs at a sports Museum and who is attending.

I like how user-friendly it is, and I also value its reporting capabilities, which let me review surveys from different angles.

There are no downsides that I'm aware of.

We often need to poll our students, staff, faculty or even board members and consituents. Survey Monkey has a variety of options to create professional, thoughtful and intuitive surveys.

I like the exporting options for survey results. You can get totals for each survey or individual responses allowing you to respond to specific cases if there are issues. 

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Customer service can use a lift. Phone wait times are really long. Email responses are slow too. 

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey allowed us to get feedback from clients and see where we needed to improve.

It is still very easy to create a survey in SurveyMonkey and then distribute it to a specific list of people. I feel like they continue to do a great job of compiling the results. 

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

SurveyMonkey has been very useful for me, and it continues to work well. I cannot think of anything it can improve on at this time.

We are mostly solving communication problems within the team. We want to better understand what people are thinking and feeling when they work with us and how we can most improve our communication skills to serve them better.

No major concerns overall, and I’m generally happy with how it works. I haven’t used it much yet, but the integration side could be prohibitive if it doesn’t have the right native integrations.

What I like most is how simple it is to set up questions, and how quickly I can get an immediate analysis of the results.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I can’t export the results in a graph format and then edit them. Also, there’s no way to simplify or summarize open-ended answers.

I’m getting responses from a wider audience.

It is pretty easy to use for the most part.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Survey Monkey changes things around almost everytime I use it. I use Survey Monkey quite a bit, so I never know what will be different about it everytime I use it. That is the one thing I'm not thrilled about.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this for our Board Elections, Evaluations of various meetings, miscellaneous forms, etc. The end reports are always good and it is way easier than sending out a Word document asking questions and having to compile the information yourself.

I like the ease of use that SurveyMonkey offers, and it solves this really well with its intuitive interface, making it simple to build surveys. Also value that you do not need advanced technical skills to analyze the results. SurveyMonkey is more reliable compared to the previous product I used, Jotform.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The pricing can also feel limited when you need access to more sophisticated features; you need to pay more. Exporting or integrating data with other tools could be a bother. Sometimes it's just too complicated.

I use SurveyMonkey for client feedback and internal assessments. It's intuitive and easy to use, which speeds up building surveys.

I like SurveyMonkey because it allows me to gain insight into my students' learning styles and assess their undertstanding.

The pop-up screens and toolbars are a bit clumsy  - they appear and disappear too easily.

It is often difficult to get students to reveal things about themselves.  A survey is less invasive than a direct question.

I like how easy SurveyMonkey is to use. The ease of branding it makes everything cohesive with our communications, which keeps our brand safe and intentional when sending out surveys to our members.

I think some of the customization in questions could be a little bit more in-depth. I tried to use it to pair with Google Sheets, but it very rarely works well.

SurveyMonkey is really easy to use for both the backend and the user. It compiles data and analytics, allowing us to compare year over year. It's great, easy to use, and gets done what we need.

Ease of building a new form, plus a QR code and link generator.

The score weighting in the surveys doesn’t always make sense or work properly. It’s also difficult to customize the way I want the results to be displayed.

It helps me collect reviews for scholarships, and it also works well for post-course surveys.

I use SurveyMonkey to create feedback surveys from program users. It's very user friendly and easy to set up forms, and a good variety of options for question types. The analytics of survey responses are useful for gathering insights about your feedback quickly.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I wish there were more options for styling your forms because I find the template looks fairly bland. It's also quite pricey for the paid plans but not very functional on the free plan since you can't save past surveys or ask very many questions in one survey.

SurveyMonkey helps me gather feedback easily all in one place, with analytics of that information provided rather than needing to analyze it myself. This helps me spot areas for improvement with ease.

I appreciate that I'm able to reuse old surveys and simply make edits. It saves a lot of time!

Nothing comes to mind. I find it really easy to use.

It allows us to collect feedback in a way that truly feels anonymous to our event guests, because the form doesn't live under our URL.

simple and connects with AI (Claude) so it's easy

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

it's not very intuitive. I can't upload a questionnaire to generate my survey --I have to type one-by-one. So I had Claude to create the survey for me. 
Also, I can't remove some respondents from analysis without removing them permanently

As a researcher it’s very easy to use. For anyone who doesn’t know who to program or write a survey, it’s great. Helps reduced bias because questions will be relevant to your audiences.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I prefer to have the functionality of a Qualtrics. In addition I’m not comfortable with using it with employee data as it may not be as secure

This is mainly used for quick turn research or when someone who is a non researcher and wants to do a quick survey and doesn’t want to get my team involved — saves us some time.

Easily gathering data quickly. It isn't the most robust tool, but it is easily accessible to everyone based on the ease of use and the free price point. Who can argue with free?

Survey monkey is a platform that we utilize with team members to efficiently gather information in a creative way. The options to customize the way in which we collect that information is extremely helpful. 

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The ability to customize questions and answer options would be a great touch.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey, unlike other survey sent through teams, etc. Allows easier use with employees and having sent a survey out to employees about our new survey platform employee response utilizing survey monkey was exceptionally high. It allows our employees to complete surveys more often.

UI is friendly compared to others. The more simplistic survey resulted in greater response rates for me

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The UI’s improved a bit and I’ve been able to send direct call outs from sf to survey monkey and track the responses in sf

We used it for getting feedback on New Hire Orientation and other training feedback.

Their pricing is still out of line, in my opinion.

I like that SurveyMonkey is user-friendly and anonymous. It's easy to use when sorting out the questions, and only I can see the results, which is really helpful for team surveys. It solves voting issues and helps gather ideas from the team efficiently.

Sometimes the layout is confusing, and the navigational part can use some revamping. It took a couple of tries to get the hang of the initial setup.

I appreciate how straightforward it is to create and share surveys using SurveyMonkey. The platform’s interface is intuitive and user-friendly, allowing me to design professional surveys without requiring any technical expertise. Additionally, the clear data reports and charts make it quick and efficient to analyze responses. The available templates and question logic features are especially helpful, as they save considerable time when constructing more complex surveys.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Some of the more advanced features, such as detailed analytics and custom branding, are restricted to the paid plans, which may be costly for smaller projects. The free version provides only a limited selection of question types and response analysis tools. I wish SurveyMonkey would include greater flexibility or additional features in their basic plan.

I like how customizable SurveyMonkey is. There's a lot of different types of surveys you can build. SurveyMonkey is very intuitive! Even some of my less technically savvy employees have been able to use it without issue. The intuitive and customizable nature allows people from every level in my organization to use it with ease. The initial setup of SurveyMonkey was very easy.
