I like that SurveyMonkey allows for multiple options when creating survey questions, such as multiple choice and long-form answers. It made our survey more complete in what we were looking for to receive input from our members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey? I didn't like the limitations and cost of needing a subscription. The price seemed exorbitant for having more than 10 questions and more than 25 responses. For small businesses or groups, this cost is much too high to continue using. Plus, when the subscriptions ended, I lost access to the additional responses I paid to receive through our timeframe. I understand why but think that once the subscription was paid, the user should keep the access to the information gained during that subscription period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. That I am locked in to an annual subscription that is no longer useful to my business. I understand the need to pay for services delivered however I do not understand the lack of flexibility. Because I paid upfront for 12 months I am not eligible to cancel the subscription for a pro rata refund. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey? You can't export the "free" global benchmarks, which was the main reason we bought their premier plan. Then come to find out, their employee engagement survey template is missing tons of the typical (reliable and valid) questions used by every other vendor and they only have benchmarks for about half of the questions they do have. The layout of their questions/answers is inconsistent, which was embarassing until I figured out how to fix it. Their customer support for customers on the Premier plan is lacking - it's very hard to get ahold of someone and the answer is usually, "Sorry, no, you can't." Don't bother spending the money on targeted/bought responses. Based on our experience we don't have any confidence in the validity of responses. Our organization used SurveyMonkey for years to collect seminar surveys. During an inactive time during the pandemic, we somehow lost the abaility to sign in to the account. Now, no matter what we have tried, we cannot get back access to our account and all of its surveys and data. We have contacted customer service multiple times, to no avail.
