## SurveyMonkey Reviews
  ### 1. Nice tool, but communication regarding prices could be more honest.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larissa Ventura V. | Research Project Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It features some helpful tools for a basic research, and the pricing for the basic montly individual plan is affordable SurveyMonkey offers smart features such as question suggestions, survey templates, skip logic, answer validation, response transfer between questions, and automatic data analysis with charts and filters. These features can make survey design and analysis more efficient, although many of the more advanced automation tools are restricted to paid plans.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

1 - Misleading advertising: it is unclear what you actually get for your money. You perform a basic upgrade only to discover that certain features are still locked behind more expensive plans. Simply labeling a feature "premium" isn't enough, you have to be specific.
2 - Technical issues linking apps (during synchronization with a Google Sheets spreadsheet) and no support at all
3 - More than 3 days waiting for a reply by email (still dont get it) because of the problem related above. There is no "support" (or the "support@surveymonkey.com" is wrong)

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are conducting a business feasibility study, and Survey Monkey is proving useful as an initial piece of basic research.

  ### 2. Well-Integrated Surveys with Zapier and Powerful Conditional Logic

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex S. | Curriculum Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like that it is a well-integrated platform; I can connect it to other services, especially Zapier, to work with data and easily automate workflows. I also like that the conditional logic makes it easy to fine-tune which questions users see so that a single survey can cover many edge cases.

Support has historically been very responsive. When we had issues with our account's plan that affected visibility of our surveys, we were able to get it resolved fairly quickly.

The service also seems to be reliable from an uptime perspective. We've never had any issues with downtime or unavailability of surveys.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Things that feel like they should be easy, like line breaks in the description at the beginning of a survey, seem to behave inconsistently. I also feel like SurveyMonkey is pricy relative to the value I receive from it, but this may just be because some of the features aren't relative to our use case. I wish there was more support for customizing the visual feel of our surveys with custom CSS.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey created an easy way for us to collect RSVPs and post-event surveys for the online webinars and panels we host. Because we can integrate it with Zapier and transmit responses to other services, we've almost completely automated the process of organizing our registrants and sending confirmation/reminder emails.

  ### 3. Easy to Use but Needs Better Data Analysis

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James M. | VP, Collaborative Impact, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like that SurveyMonkey is really user-friendly and intuitive. It's easy to create questions and design them in a way that matches our organization. Sharing with colleagues for editing purposes is simple, and I find it easy to update and duplicate surveys as needed. The platform allows for team members to engage without a lot of background experience, making it functional across different types of programs and data collection needs. Overall, it fits seamlessly within our organization and it's easy to onboard new users.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Sometimes I struggle with the analyzing of the data portion. It's difficult to get the data in the form that is most helpful for us. I don't love the way you download the data, and the naming features make it difficult to work with the files or the data after it's been collected. Sometimes it's difficult to see whom something is shared with, and how to share it with other colleagues that we might want to incorporate into a project.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to create feedback surveys which helps us gather and analyze data effectively, ensuring program success and learning how to improve.

  ### 4. Very solid, feature rich product which could be more affordable and accessible

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan A. | Principal, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It offers a wide range of features and an interface that runs smoothly. When it comes to quizzing and creating surveys, there’s very little it can’t do. We have 5 versions of our survey up, each in a different language in order to determine meal satisfaction. SurveyMonkey keeps our data organized and safe. We use their integration with Google Sheets to take our data interpretation to the next level. The pricing is quite high and we cannot currently afford their top level which would allow for a single survey in different languages. Overall, the performance is good. We do not use ant of their AI.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

It can be too complicated and over engineered in many ways. The cost is prohibitive for many organizations. One feels locked in if you need to run surveys for a long period of time. There is no onboarding support.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our surveys were one-offs and more dosorganized before using this product. We struggled keeping things organized prior but now have a good repository for our surveys. The use of surveymonkey makes our business appear more professional and organized. They are dependable.

  ### 5. Straightforward, Easy Surveys with Powerful Analysis and HubSpot Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jackie H. | Communications Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

SurveyMonkey is very straightforward and easy to use, and nearly always has everything I need. Our team also heavily utilizes the Analyze functions of our surveys and uses the graphs and data to create presentations and board reports.

We integrate with Hubspot, which allows us to send follow-up emails to those who haven't completed a survey or form in SurveyMonkey. Generally this feature is easy to use and helpful, though we're just in the beginning stages of the integration.

Pricing is reasonable and competitive.

I haven't use support really at all, so cannot speak on that element.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Just a few small things.

1. We are a network for insurance brokers, and they are our audience for everything. For response consistency, we always ask for basic contact information and their company name, and we like utilizing a dropdown list for companies so that everyone responding from the same company will report with the same spelling/variation/format. SurveyMonkey doesn't allow for custom dropdowns like GetFeedback (what we used previouskly), so I have to constantly update every active survey every time we have a change in our companies.

2. I really wish language translation was easier. I know it's there, but it still requires a lot of manual effort.

3. I sometimes find the theme editing a bit confusing.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Hubspot integration for us is vital. Before, we were manually removing survey respondents from distribution lists so they didn't receive reminders to complete.

I appreciate the ability to collaborate and share surveys with coworkers who also have seats in our account.

Logic/advanced branching is very helpful from us and a vast improvement from GetFeedback's simpler capabilities.

  ### 6. Easy-to-use survey platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie R. | Senior Manager, Digital, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It remains user friendly and a good platform to jump into for surveys. I like that they have a built-in, easy-to-use builder that provides a multitude of options for my surveys. I like that there is a cost-effective option. The plug-ins and add-ons are also good; we don't use them a ton but it's helpful when we do need them. I haven't used support features but assume they would be helpful.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Agree that the skip logic can still be a harder tool to use on the platform. It's fine from a survey taker perspective but can be harder from a set up perspective. Overall, though I really do think it's a good tool to use. They have made some good updates in the platform.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey is helping us gather anonymous intel following events, to help us gather ideas and opinions and to better inform our clients of the information that they are looking for. It's incredibly helpful and easy to use. We're all moving fast so this helps us save time by using an intuitive platform.

  ### 7. Simple, Easy and Use Friendly

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenay A. | C, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I've used SurveyMonkey to gain insight into my clients' preferences regarding our services and scheduling. I've also completed quite a few surveys on SurveyMonkey as a client. The platform appears to remain the same. The layout makes sense and the surveys are easy to take. I appreciate that they are keeping things simple and familiar.

It's easy to set up and send out surveys as well as to review the data upon completion. It's easy to send out surveys via email or direct link. This service has provided my company with good insight into our clients' needs.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I send so few surveys. I prefer products that allow me to pay per use. SurveyMonkey offers a certain number of free surveys that can be sent out. Just like my newsletters, I tend to use this service quarterly or annually, so I'm willing to pay a reasonable rate that reflects my use.

While it seems the subscription approach is becoming the norm, it's not what everyone needs. As a small business owner I'm careful about my spending and SurveyMonkey is one platform that should be available as needed at a reasonable rate.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to collect opinions from my clients about their scheduling preferences. I also needed to gather information about how we are doing as a business concerning serving their needs. SurveyMonkey provides an easy to use platform that allows us to send out simple, quick to complete surveys that are user friendly.

  ### 8. Survey monkey is a great tool for quick feedback or input

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Byron K. | Creative Media Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

Many of the free options are removed and placed in the pay segment. Survey Monkey is still a great tool, but for small businesses that only use the platform 2-3 times a year there isn't a great value in a pay for survey. One of the best parts of the tool was the fact that there was a free option with flexiblity. Sure you could pay to brand it or customize but I typically use it for my non-profit org and paying isn't really a good value for our group.

The additional analytics are cool but not entirely useful for my purpose.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Again, removing more features creates less value. Keep stripping features and I would likely shop for a new platform or use MS Forms.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with getting quick responses or feedback from large groups. It helps with event registration or gather information from attendees to events. It works well as a form builder for various purposes.

  ### 9. Powerful Feedback Tool Held Back by Hidden Walls and Pricing Surveys with Real-Time Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kateryna K. | Self Employed, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

SurveyMonkey is a powerful, intuitive tool that makes it remarkably fast and seamless to build professional surveys, track real-time analytics, and manage responses on the go. However, it’s significantly held back by a restrictive free tier, aggressive subscription costs, and rigid mobile limitations that make casual or budget-conscious use frustrating.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The platform lures users into creating a survey for free, but once people start filling it out, it effectively locks you out of viewing or exporting more than a tiny fraction of the responses—sometimes as few as 10.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey reduces the friction of collecting and analyzing feedback by automating questionnaire creation, centralizing responses from multiple channels, and quickly turning raw data into clear, easy-to-read charts. For me, that translates into saving valuable time when designing forms and getting fast, actionable insights on the go—without needing any technical or coding skills.

  ### 10. Straightforward Survey Creation and Multi-Brand Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suzi P. | Office Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

What I like most about SurveyMonkey is how straightforward it is to create and manage multiple surveys, while tailoring each one to meet the specific needs and branding of different companies. It makes it easy to keep surveys relevant and professional.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

At times, the platform can be a little difficult to navigate, particularly when using features for the first time. It would be helpful to have more step-by-step video guides or the option to book a support call with someone who can walk you through specific tasks and answer questions.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey enables us to create and distribute multiple surveys efficiently, making it easy to gather feedback from a large number of respondents. The reporting features also help us review and analyse the results, allowing us to identify trends and make informed decisions.

  ### 11. Effective Survey Tool with Strong Analysis Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neo Charity M. | Marketing Officer and Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I use SurveyMonkey for making and sharing surveys to collect and analyze data, which is easy to use and lacks difficult technicalities. I appreciate its strong data analysis capabilities and the various analyzing methods it offers, saving me time since I don't have to go through thousands of data for analysis. The ready-to-use templates and ability to filter data to spot trends are a big plus. I find it valuable that it can reach thousands of individuals, even with paid options, and that distance is not a barrier for participation. Setting up was a very easy-going process, despite taking about a month for the whole team to be all set up.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I find the free tier very limiting and the paid one can be expensive for individuals like me.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to make, share, and analyze surveys easily. It saves me time with ready templates and various analysis methods, and it helps by allowing responses without distance barriers. I appreciate the strong data analysis capabilities that help me spot trends without sifting through data manually.

  ### 12. User-Friendly Surveys, Reliable Performance, easy to access your data

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gemma E. | Customer Relations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

User friendly, easy to see all of your data in one place. Easy to perform repetitive surveys over a course of months. We do not currently integrate this into our CRM system HubSpot, but may be something we look to do in the future. System consistently works to a high standard, limited down time.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Lack of knowledge when system updates are performed. Once we understand the new updates they are beneficial and they suit our type of business, however they can be difficult to gain an understanding of when you are used to one way of working for so long.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't currently have any problems, we like the system for what we use it for and understand the current functionalities.

  ### 13. Highly Customizable Surveys with Clear, Easy-to-Read Results

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devyn M. | Administrative Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I love how customizable SurveyMonkey is! Being able to add tags to answers saved me a ton of time. The results were easy to understand and had a nice display.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Getting used to the software took a little bit of time. Somethings weren't as intuitive as I expected. If you were to use it consistently though, I don't think it would be a problem.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey made it easy for me to create a survey for our employees so that we can gauge employee happiness and easily point out opportunities that we may have as employers. It saved a ton of time being able to copy and paste our questions instead of having to retype them into the survey!

  ### 14. Great templates and branding, but recent UI updates made key dashboards harder to find

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The many existing templates to choose from and how I can brand each survey individually or simply collect collector settings from a previous survey.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

After some updates it seems the UI got a bit more complicated. The overview tab disappeared and in the past I was able to check the LOI of a survey on a dashboard or in the individual result tab, but it is not there anymore.

Also when I want to add more than one survey link collector now and want to do so by copying the first collector it is really difficult to get to the collector overview where all collectors are listed up.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We offer an Engagement Survey as a product and we use SurveyMonkey as a Data gathering tool. We also do trainings/workshops regularly and use SurveyMonkey to conduct Pre- and Post-Training surveys. It helps us see how well we did and what we need to improve or what works well.

  ### 15. Easy Setup, Efficient for Survey Programming

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heidi C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like that I can pretty simply program a survey with SurveyMonkey. There's not a ton of options, but I know how it works, and the options available do work well for me. I appreciate that I can get pricing for an audience pretty easily, which is helpful when I'm doing proposals for consulting. I also find it convenient to use the analysis tool, especially for cross tabs, and I can export data when needed. The initial setup was very easy, and having used it for a long time, I'm quite familiar with its workings. It's been a reliable tool for me.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I feel like I'm often using SurveyMonkey to its maximum capacity and hit a wall with what I want to do. One thing I can't do is route people to different lanes in the survey. I've had to add a dummy question, like selecting a top color, to get two different routes, which is not ideal.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to program surveys for clients and as a pre-step for recruiting. I like its simplicity in survey programming, easy audience pricing for proposals, and using the analysis tool for data. It's straightforward and effective for my consulting needs.

  ### 16. Great program for surveys, and excellent options with paid service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay S. | Employee Engagement and Corporate Culture Expert / Digital Entertainer and Influencer , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I had the advanced membership and I liked the reporting function. If using this on a regular basis it would be extremely helpful to have.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I think there are some paid features which should be part of the free, such as answer types. I think the paid value should be more on the side of reporting and additional functionalitly

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I am working with clients, there are many times I need to process a survey. Survey monkey helps me when I need a survey focusing on improving processes or employee engagement. it is essential to get the voice of the employee. Survey Monkey allows me to gain information from a neutral site which enhances the feeling of confidentiality.

  ### 17. User-Friendly Employee Reviews with Flexible Question and Scoring Options

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Veterinary | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I do like that I can take my employee reviews and make them more user friendly for the person filling them out. Being able to give them mulitiple choice questions, and different scoring options are also nice. I also like being able to choose which way I send the review

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I do find that it can sometimes be difficult to find what I’m looking for. For example, the other day I needed to view an individual’s answer rather than the bulk overview of everyone’s, and I struggled to figure out where that “button” had moved to. I know updates are good and necessary, but when you’re a busy manager and just want to go in and do what you always do, having things suddenly be different can be frustrating. As with everything, costs continue to increase. I do wish this was a little less expensive.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it as an employee review system. I really like that staff can fill it out on their own time, and I’m able to see when each review is completed. It’s also helped me quickly organize everyone’s thoughts into one combined response, which saves me time.

  ### 18. Convenient and Efficient, But Needs Stability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I find SurveyMonkey convenient and simple to use. It allows me to collect data efficiently and export it into a format that I can use to share results. I also appreciate the templating feature since I use a custom template for all my surveys. Starting each survey with the same two questions without having to recreate them every time saves me a ton of time.

Logic works well and is effective at directing questions across the surveys so that we are only collecting relevant data.

The support team is responsive when help is needed and we have taken advantage of this to reach out when any bugs are experienced. Responses are quick, and effective at solving any issues we have.

Being able to export both the individual answers and the summary of answers to excel makes my job of sanitizing the data and sharing the results a lot easier. If I notice there is an issue with member inputs, I can correct it easily and see where the issue occurred by reviewing the individual results. The charts and graphs that can be exported to powerpoint are also useful.

We haven't experimented much with the AI features as they aren't targetted at our use case in most situations, but I do appreciate the analysis of response quality.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The website for SurveyMonkey is constantly changing with little to no warning. I'm constantly having to relearn where features are or how to access things I've used previously without trouble. Plus, I have to update documentation for the rest of my team. I would really appreciate it if there was more notice before changes, as well as instructions to access the things I have used prior to the changes. A lot of times it feels like features I used are being hidden.

Another issue that I have is regarding PowerPoint exports - when the initial question is a longer one, the question comes off the slide and needs to be manually adjusted. Additionally some question charts (typically those associated with matrix questions) are exported as an image instead of an embedded graph. It is much better when its an embedded graph so that adjustments can be made to the size of the chart without causing the image to distort.

Overall the product works well, so these are not deal-breakers in using the product, but it would certainly make my life easier if improvements were made to both of these.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey lets me collect data efficiently and export it to share results. The templating feature saves time by storing frequently used questions. It puts the data in easily readable charts and graphs with percentages and statistics that make the data easy to share.

  ### 19. Platform with Easy-to-Find Instructions for Managing Multiple Projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The platform is quite intuitive, and if I have any questions, it's easy to find the instructions. I use it extensively and often manage multiple projects at the same time.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

In some cases, I created a survey with around 130 questions and discovered that, beyond a certain number of pages or questions, it is no longer possible to scroll through the entire survey to view all the questions. Instead, you can only select and view one page at a time. This is very inconvenient because it makes it extremely difficult to understand where to insert new questions and to see what comes before and after the current page. Managing and editing long surveys becomes unnecessarily complicated. I would suggest increasing the maximum number of pages or questions that can be created before the layout changes, so that users can continue to scroll through the survey as they do with shorter questionnaires.
Another area for improvement is the Excel export. The numerical values are formatted as text, and the formulas used to calculate the results are not included. It would be very helpful if the formulas were available, especially for ranking questions where respondents are asked to order options by importance. The Excel reports provide a final score for each option, but they do not show how that score was calculated. As a result, users have to reverse-engineer the formula through trial and error, which is both time-consuming and inefficient.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After upgrading my subscription, I was able to use branching logic, which is not available in the basic plan. This solved the limitation I had encountered.

  ### 20. Intuitive Tool, But With Limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I really like the ability to filter by links in SurveyMonkey. This allows me to send the same questionnaire to various different panels and still keep the count for billing later, without confusion. This makes the research faster and helps me collect the number of responses within the ideal time, especially when working with multiple suppliers. Additionally, the setup was easy for me; it was quite intuitive to start using after receiving access.

A big advantage is also the price, the cost of Qualtrix is prohibitive in my company, even with a reasonable revenue.

Moreover, with the survey API, it is possible to integrate with various things, including having Python scripts that automatically download new responses from time to time.

The survey also has AI, but the issue is that from what I've tested, I didn't find it satisfactory. The AI doesn't understand page breaks to be able to apply logic, etc.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

One thing I really miss is a native function for making draws. For example, in a banking survey with 40 bank brands, it was necessary to randomly select one for the user to respond to. We had to find a workaround that took a lot of effort. SurveyMonkey has its limitations, such as the issue with drawing. When I want to do something more advanced, I feel like I need to do some workarounds to make it work.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to program questionnaires and make them available on panels, easily collecting and analyzing data for my consulting work.

  ### 21. SurveyMonkey’s Expanding Features and Reliable Performance Keep Getting Better

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I really appreciate the continuing expansion of features. Things have changed (for the better!) many times over in my years of working in SurveyMonkey. The advanced logic options have been easy to set up and incredibly helpful in creating personalized flows for the many different types of audiences that my clients need to reach. I also appreciate that SurveyMonkey has never dragged or buffered - in my experience, we have not run into any downtime.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The biggest downside of SurveyMonkey is how many features are pay-to-play. As a small company that largely serves human services agencies, we do not have unlimited resources and are conscientious about spending our clients' minimal budgets.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using SurveyMonkey, we were stuck using very basic survey techniques (down to and including paper, yuck). The ease of use and global access has allowed us to scale our work and the scope of what our clients can achieve.

  ### 22. Intuitive, User-Friendly Survey Creation with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The actual survey creation has a great UI and is very intuitive. Things get a little more complicated once you get to the publication and results stages, but the survey creation is much more user-friendly than other survey apps we've used, like HubSpot's survey feature.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The ability to share the survey and then share results is somewhat clunky. There could be a better flow from publishing, to sharing, to sharing results vs. having to click every "step" at the top of the survey bar; it feels like all these steps are disparate programs when they should be part of one app.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us the ability to quickly (and truly "anonymously") send internal and external surveys when we need to. Like I said, our other comparison is HubSpot's survey features, and while it's superior in its ability to send surveys out to lists connected to our CRM, that's about it.

  ### 23. A powerful survey tool without having to pay for premium features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Plastics | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

SurveyMonkey has TONS of features and it isn't difficult to use the basics. There are more powerful survey question types than offered by other survey tools without having to pay for a higher tier plan and more insight/data tools available for survey submissions than other tools that require upgrades to receive.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Not everything is intuitive and you have to pay more to get the SurveyMonkey branding removed from most things. Since SurveyMonkey is a well-known tool, I leave their branding and accept that it is there, but it would be nice to pay a small fee to not have it instead of having to upgrade tiers instead.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy-to-use survey tool for customers, suppliers, vendors, employees, and more. We use it just about every time we need to publish a survey for any audience. We can take the data and easily learn from it since the data analysis tools and export features are good.

  ### 24. Efficient Data Collection Made Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanessa B. | Clinical Nurse III

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I really enjoy using SurveyMonkey for my thesis project. It's very easy to use, which is a big help because I'm already dealing with a lot of work for my thesis. When I struggle, the help button is fantastic—it guides me on what I need to do and makes the process much easier, reducing the time I need to collect and manage the data. I found SurveyMonkey to be exponentially helpful for managing the stages of my thesis project, like setting up informed consent, pretests, interventions, and post-tests, all in one place. Google and other platforms couldn't handle what I needed the same way. The initial setup was easy and good, thanks to the help button.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I really can't think of anything right now because everything that I have used before has been really, really good. One thing I will say is it would be really nice to have the ability to put a video in SurveyMonkey so someone can take the pretest, watch the intervention YouTube video, or MP4, and then complete the post-test all on the SurveyMonkey website. If it was able to do that, I know that people, especially in research, would be using that platform all the time.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find SurveyMonkey efficiently collects data for my thesis.

  ### 25. Easy to Use with Preloaded Questions and Familiar for Respondents

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Breanna P. | Excutive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I liek that it is easy to use and comes with preloaded questions. It is also a familiar service to a lot of people so they tend to be ok using it to answer the questons.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

We're a small non profit and don't need to use the services as often as others so the cost was a liitle high for us but we wanted the QR code

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel like it’s getting a wide range of responses from people who might not necessarily share their input in other ways. It encourages more interaction and feedback, which can help improve a variety of things, from communities to small businesses.

  ### 26. Great for Tracking Trends and Reviewing Responses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allyson D. | Senior Program Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It allows us to collect a variety of information and systematically review responses or trends.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The formats for exporting responses is awkward. You have to wait for a popup to download your report and be vigilant since it is temporary. Also, the PDF output of individual responses is extremely long while the Excel spreadsheet option has weird heading groupings.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Survey Monkey allows us to track and respond to consumer feedback to improve internal processes and identify unmet needs within the community we serve. It also allows us to collect event RSVPs and program applications in a highly customizable way that reflects the unique considerations and needs of our consumer base.

  ### 27. Very useful for it's specific niche and helpful across many websites

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

Survey monkey can be short and quick or more in depth, as necessary.
I really like that they offer multiple templates to help me get started with the information I need. Survey research is very helpful when done correctly and can be useless if you ask the wrong questions. Survey Monkey's templates give me confidence that I will be using vetted methods and questions to help me get the stats I want.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The cost is definitely something to consider. It will be worthwhile to a company that uses it frequently. Small businesses might use it for a short time only, because the yearly fee might be more than they can afford to keep.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Certainly, survey research holds a lot of interest. We want to narrow down actual opinions and experiences, rather than rely on insubstantial headlines, rumors, or social media trends. Survey Monkey allows us to build that real-time information.

  ### 28. Versatile, easy to use, but lacking in key features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney S. | Resource Navigation Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2022

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I appreciate that SurveyMonkey is very easy to set up, and that it offers versatile options for inputting responses. It is a recognized leader in the survey space, which lends quite a bit of credibility and positively drives response rates. I also appreciate the charitable integration, which further drives responses and makes me feel good about utilizing this platform.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The lack of an email confirmation option once a survey is submitted continues to be a glaring omission. Particularly with high-importance surveys and response forms, respondents appreciate the knowledge that their response was received, as well as the option to receive a copy of what they said. It would be helpful if the interface and submission screen could be customized for each form. This is an option with most of SurveyMonkey's competitors, and fewer customization options make it feel behind the times.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey creates a seamless and attractive way to collect data and responses from external users. It is a well-recognized platform which users trust.

  ### 29. Great Visual Survey Builder, but Sharing, Exports, and Integrations Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like that it gives me the opportunity to design a survey visually, with a variety of question options to choose from. I also really enjoy the copy and paste questions feature for quickly importing a bunch of questions!

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Sometimes it is more difficult to share with users who are not premium subscribers. I've had moments where the link is broken and I cannot review results. I also dont like the export system for results. Its also a bummer that it cannot be integrated into other platforms like how Microsoft forms can be integrated into Sharepoint. Also the inability to attach large files or excel files prevents it from being useful for data intake.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey for feedback forms, intake forms, and collecting ongoing sentiment. We often need a central place to gather that kind of input, so it’s useful for us in that sense.

  ### 30. Intuitive, Versatile, and Effortless Survey Creation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nandhakumar S. | Quality Automation Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like SurveyMonkey’s improved AI-powered survey creation, smarter question suggestions, enhanced analytics dashboards, and easier collaboration features. They save time, increase response quality, and help teams quickly turn feedback into meaningful actions.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

SurveyMonkey could improve by offering more flexible pricing for smaller teams, deeper customization options for survey design, faster support response times, and richer integrations with niche enterprise tools. Enhanced real-time analytics, better multilingual capabilities, and more advanced AI-driven insights would also help users gain greater value from survey data.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey solves the challenge of collecting structured feedback efficiently. It streamlines survey creation, distribution, and analysis, reducing manual effort and improving data accuracy. This benefits me by enabling quick insights into customer or employee opinions, supporting informed decisions, and enhancing engagement strategies—all without requiring complex technical skills or extensive time investment.

  ### 31. Easy to use and good product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deanna T. | D, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The ease of use of the program is great. Beginners should have no problem figuring out how to use this program. Survey results are great to compare and contrast answers. Breakdown of each survey question is great. Survey Monkey is an easy-to-use platform and gives good results.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The features are somewhat limited and the look of the surveys could be improved. The format of the pages could be improved to look more professional.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes sending out surveys really easy. I can reach a big audience with a few clicks. Surveys are easy to navigate and easy for respondents to answer and send back. It certainly beats sending out paper surveys!

  ### 32. Easy Survey Creation with Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SivaGanga K. | IT Product Support Analyst , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I enjoy using SurveyMonkey because it's super easy to create surveys quickly. The simple interface is very user-friendly, allowing even those without technical knowledge to navigate it with ease. I love the ready-to-use templates; they save a lot of time and make the survey creation process smoother. I appreciate the variety of question types and the ability to customize surveys based on the feedback I want to collect. The built-in analytics feature is particularly valuable as it automatically converts responses into charts and summaries, making it effortless to analyze results without needing extra tools. Overall, it's a reliable platform for collecting feedback from customers, employees, or users.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

One area that could be improved in SurveyMonkey is the limitation in the free version. Some useful features like advanced analytics, logic options, and exporting full results are only available in the paid plans, which can be a bit restrictive for small users. Another thing is customization. While the survey builder is easy to use, sometimes the design and layout customization options feel a little limited if someone wants more control over the appearance of the survey. Also, when surveys receive a large number of responses, managing and filtering the data could be made a bit more flexible.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey for creating quick surveys, using templates saves time. Its simple interface is easy even for non-technical users. Built-in analytics turns responses into charts, making analysis simple. It's great for gathering opinions and feedback efficiently.

  ### 33. Simplified Market Research with AI-Driven Surveys

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iswarya K. | 3D Generalist lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like using SurveyMonkey mainly because it makes my market research a lot easier. I appreciate the ability to select a target audience, which is really helpful. The AI features are also very useful to me, especially since I struggle with creating a good UI and sentence formation due to English not being my first language. These features have made working with the platform easier. Additionally, it was fairly easy for my team to get used to SurveyMonkey, which was a significant factor for switching from Google Surveys.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I feel like the user interface could still be improved further.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey makes market research easier, allows me to select target audiences, and its AI features help with UI and sentence formation. Switching from Google Surveys reduced platform fees and has been easier for my team to use.

  ### 34. Easy-to-Use Survey Tool with Helpful Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandeep V. | Sr. Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

What I like most about SurveyMonkey is how easy it is to create and share surveys. The interface is user-friendly, and the built-in templates save time. I also appreciate the clear reporting and analytics, which make it simple to understand responses and make informed decisions.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

One downside is that some of the best features are only available in the paid plans, which can be expensive for individuals or small businesses. I also wish there were more customization options in the free version.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey helps me collect feedback quickly and organize responses in one place. Instead of relying on emails or manual data collection, I can easily identify trends and make better decisions based on real customer or team feedback. This saves time and improves the quality of our decisions.

  ### 35. Effortless Integration with CRM for Lead Generation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley I. | Sr Marketing Manager, Corporate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like that SurveyMonkey integrates with HubSpot, making it easy to get information into my CRM based on the answers from clients and prospects. This helps with lead nurturing, scoring, and assessing if they are a good fit for our services. I also found the initial setup of SurveyMonkey to be super easy.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Sometimes I want to create a quiz-style survey where at the very end, it gives participants a category or a score and then allows them to read more information on it, and I have not seen a feature for that, which would make the post-survey experience better.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to easily queue up surveys for clients and prospects, collect information, and integrate it into my CRM. It helps with lead generation, nurturing, and lead scoring, assessing if prospects are a good fit for services.

  ### 36. Clean, Customizable Surveys with Strong Reporting—Could Use More Variety

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronika B. | Training Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

What I like about SurveyMonkey is that it lets me import answers in bulk. The surveys have a clean design and are easy to customize, which helps keep everything consistent. I also like the reporting features, since they make it straightforward to review and understand the results.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The built-in analytics feel pretty limited. The new AI feature also seems quite constrained—none of the use cases I suggested could be implemented. And although the reports are very useful, they aren’t especially strong visually and could look a lot better.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SurveyMonkey is used for engagement surveys, which gives us insight into staff satisfaction levels and helps highlight indicators of issues in specific areas. We also use it for training evaluations, and the feedback helps us improve our training programs.

  ### 37. Easy to Build Professional Surveys with Advanced Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zawadi K. | Technical Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

SurveyMonkey stands out because it balances ease of use with fairly advanced capabilities. It lets you go from a blank page to a structured, professional survey in minutes, while still giving you access to deeper analytics when required or needed.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Despite being widely used, it has a few consistent drawbacks that keep coming up. First, the pricing can feel restrictive, especially since the free plan is very limited. Second, customization options are somewhat limited. Third, there are also limitations around data access and exporting.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before SurveyMonkey, I had a lot of challenges with data collection and decision intelligence—especially around gathering structured feedback at scale and turning it into actionable insight without heavy technical overhead.
We struggled a lot with Time and cost building and Survey Monkey offers a ready to use Saas Platform and eliminates need for backend development.

  ### 38. Great survey provider

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tina D. | Vendor Relations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

It makes it easy to create surveys that fit different needs, while the built-in reporting and analytics tools help quickly identify trends and insights from responses. I also appreciate how simple it is to share surveys and track participation in real time.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

offering more advanced features in the lower-tier plans. Some useful customization, reporting, and analysis tools are only available with higher-cost subscriptions, so expanding access to those features would make the platform even more valuable for a broader range of users.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When you want to know how your employees feel about decisions that were made within the company, or decisions that depend on their feedback, it is beneficial to know what they really think so you don't make your employees upset.

  ### 39. Affordable and Easy, But Complicated Analytics

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

I like SurveyMonkey because it's pretty easy to use and it's low-priced. I didn't need a lot of training to start using it, and I can easily build or adjust surveys or administer them. I get notifications via email when a survey response has been received, allowing me to check it out promptly. It's also fairly easy to download the results once you know how to navigate through the clicks.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

The output of the results is unnecessarily complicated and confusing. I have to feed it into AI to really make sense of it and analyze it.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to run 360 feedback reviews for coaching clients affordably. It's easy to use without much training, notifies me of responses via email, and downloading results is simple.

  ### 40. Customizable Surveys Made Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

I like that the surveys are pretty customizable. I can require responses to certain questions and provide follow-up questions to those answers. It's nice to have the option to customize them to include everything I need in a survey. Setting up SurveyMonkey was extremely easy and took probably thirty minutes. It's also helpful that I can avoid sending out multiple emails to different people since it keeps all the information organized in one place.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I wouldn't say I have any real dislikes. We use it for somewhat basic functionality, and it meets our needs.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SurveyMonkey to get consensus by cutting out multiple emails and organizing information in one place. The customizable surveys let me require responses and add follow-up questions, which helps manage questions people might skip.

  ### 41. Great Student Feedback Collection, but Reports Could Be More Concise

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chrisy C. | Office Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It gathers feedback we seek from our students and collates it.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Dislike that the feedback documents generated are very long. Wish there was a way to condense the information into either a small graph or at least less pages.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to gather feedback and have to hand collate/type each form into one collated document. This elminates me having to do that, however it does take a lot of time to set up the surveys and send them out, so I am not sure how much time I am saving.

  ### 42. Great for Engagement Surveys, But Limited Customization for Year-Over-Year Comparisons

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah E. | Human Resources Generalist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

Employee engagement surveys and event polls have been a big hit on surveymonkey for our company.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

It is helping us navigate certain employee engagement and well-being aspects and answers questions related to Employee performance and productivity which decreases turnover rate and supports retain talent in our teams

  ### 43. Amazing Performance, Great UI, and Powerful Integrations for Customer Surveys

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The platform and overall structure of the tool really support an automated system for surveying clients and maintaining an ongoing customer experience strategy. The integrations help us send information quickly to Power BI or other platforms so we can build dashboards. Performance-wise, the tool works amazingly, and the UI/CX experience is great while using it.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Support and onboarding have been an issue for us. We’ve struggled to get all the tools set up and ready to use, and support hasn’t been very helpful.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having an all-in-one tool to design a customer experience strategy, while using SurveyMonkey as the main source of information, has been helpful for keeping everything in one place and guiding the overall approach.

  ### 44. Appealing UI and Survey Templates That Make Getting Started Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melvin G. | Technical Writer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The software has a very appealing UI, and the elements feel thoughtfully placed with the user experience in mind. It also offers a wide range of survey templates, which helped me get started and gave me something to refer back to whenever I wasn’t sure how to begin.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Although I like most of the software, one area I really wish they would improve is exporting. Getting data into specific formats can take a few too many steps at times, and that ends up slowing down our workflow.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us conduct surveys to gather customer opinions and feedback on specific feature releases, as well as identify areas where we can improve. I also use surveys to better understand what our customers think and feel about our publications. We then use those opinions and insights to improve our process and refine our publications based on the feedback we receive.

I think it could have an overall makeover. It looks a little bit stuck in the last decade, and I just think it could have a fresh look and feel.

SurveyMonkey helps me survey industry experts, create research reports, and establish thought leadership. It's great for generating relevant content, media pickup, and lead generation. It's user-friendly, saving me time on learning.

I like the fact that I can write up a loose survey in Word and AI will do the rest I then just need to check make some minor adjustments and the survey is ready!

I appreciate the wide range of customization options it offers, and the integration with CRM, marketing, and productivity tools is seamless. The initial setup was straightforward, and overall, it's an easy-to-use platform.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

I use SurveyMonkey to create and distribute surveys, gather feedback, and analyze responses. ### 49. No monkey business when it comes to Survey Monkey

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew Y. | Tech operations overseer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2025

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

The service has been exactly what we needed. The new AI integrations have sped up survey's being generated.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

We are still liking what we get from Surveymonkey. We didn't know it can be implemented with our CSR platform until more recently. It isn't the biggest feature, but is nice to have, we just didn't really know it was available and how to use it at first. But it works great.

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem we had was determining what our users opinions were for various products that we desperately wanted in order to know which direction to take moving forward. SurveyMonkey made this possible for us. The data we gathered helped us to determine which features were important and which were least used.

  ### 50. Easy Data Compilation, but Survey Creation and Report Filters Need Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Franki C. | Board Member, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about SurveyMonkey?**

It is relatively easy to use, and it compiles response data nicely.

**What do you dislike about SurveyMonkey?**

Creating the surveys is sometimes cumbersome. And for the reports I would like to add more filters to fine tune the data I am seeing for each report

**What problems is SurveyMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Survey monkey allows our organization to assess how well we are meeting customer needs and reaching our own goals. Responses from customers show us where we can fine tune our services that we might not otherwise be aware of.
