I’m a freelance developer and I need to have safe and localized IPs for testing geo-limited named apps. I have chosen SurferCloud’s proxy/VPN services because they have worked well for my needs. Installation is easy and I like the various IP locations I can choose from to mimic end-users accessing from various countries. It also has great connection speeds for what I use it for (test API’s and scrape the web) and have never seen any unexpected drop-offs or need for throttling. Although SurferCloud is more than sufficient for the majority of use cases, I've experienced a slight delay when switching from one IP to another [which slows down the routine testing cycle]. The dashboard itself as a little lackluster and dated compared to the competition; there are no detailed logs or granular usage analytics to quickly diagnose connection issues.
