The company did not file my reemployment taxes and I had to file and pay my own reemployment taxes even though they were deducting my reemployment taxes every payroll. To this date, I still have not gotten reimbursed for the amount I personally had to pay. I received letters from the Florida Department of Revenue stating that none of my reemployment taxes were filed. Could you image a business owner paid for this service at Sure Payroll & it was not being performed. I then had to lose production time and take time away from my business to make calls back & forth with the Florida Department of Revenue to oversee this matter because no one at Sure Payroll would return my calls or offered to help. This matter has been going on since 2022 and no one has reached out to fully assist in this matter. **What do you dislike about SurePayroll?** Representatives are not helpful. They do not call back. They place you on extreme holds. They cost an arm and a leg for regular payroll, they lay on additional fees for simple things other companies do for a simple monthly fee, they keep you from your data and the taxes you paid to get more money out of you, and don't send anything to the state or feds. If you call them, you'll get someone different each time with different levels of expertise and you'll be on the hook if something goes wrong with the payroll. There's just no accountability and no one to help you. Every time that I haven't needed to speak with someone it takes forever to connect with the right person. Today, it took me 70 minutes to speak with their billing department. Their pricing page appears to be very straightforward, and there is no mention whatsoever that the displayed pricing is promotional. However, they charge a number of their clients a much higher rate. Customer service is prevented from connecting me with their so called "Tax experts" - to the point where I am getting multiple threating tax notice from the state each month. This never happened when I was doing the taxes myself. They change tax filing frequencies willy nilly, I think to maximize their interest income, and don't help to resolve the issues they have created. I like that it's easier to review before running payroll in order to spot any errors. I utilize this tool to help with all the technical aspects of making sure our business is up to date with all various payroll taxes associated with our state and federal requirements. I was concerned if i was meeting all the various tax payments requirements and Surepayroll now allows me to focus on running the business day to day without being worried if I've missed any of the various payments required with running payroll. ### 12. Paychecks are credited via ACH and employees get paid on time. If I did not have SurePayroll I would have to calculate and submit payroll taxes myself and make bank transfers as well. We have used QuickBooks for years and had been using their payroll programs. For several years we had no W-2 employees and dropped the payroll portion. Now that we needed to put a new minister on as a W-2 employee it was going to be expensive for the payroll program, plus extra for direct deposit. I really wish timekeeping was included in the plan; not every employee is exempt. Thus a timeclock would have saved us more time and resources. She worked with us addressing our concerns. The pivotal point of decision was SurePayroll handling all relevant local taxes. QBOnline was not up to our expectations in that area. Further, SurePayroll provides better reports about payroll which directly enhances our accounting. **What do you dislike about SurePayroll?** SurePayroll forces the city name to a wrong city. Our zip code 97006 was Beaverton. Now, it is Hillsboro because of city governments moved my home from Beaverton to Hillsboro. There was no physical relocation, just adjusted zones. My driver's license, our company state registration, and Federal EIN allocation show the correct city: Hillsboro.
