Superunit is AI-powered verification infrastructure for the background screening, mortgage, and tenant screening industries. Its AI agent, Ava, automates employment and income verifications end to end, handling the manual outreach that verification teams have traditionally done by hand. Every hire, mortgage application, and background check requires someone to confirm where an applicant worked, what they earned, and that the details check out. Historically this has meant millions of phone calls to HR and payroll departments, along with emails, faxes, phone trees, voicemails, and days of waiting for callbacks. Background screening companies and lenders have had to staff large teams to do this slow, repetitive work. Superunit replaces that manual effort. Ava performs contact research, calls HR, payroll, and administrative departments, navigates phone trees, sends emails and faxes, collects and reviews documents, manages compliance, and publishes verified results back into the customer's system of record. Where a database source cannot return an answer, Ava does the direct outreach to get one, capturing the long tail of verifications that instant databases cannot fulfill. The platform supports verification of employment (VOE), income verification, employment history, reference checks, tenancy verification, DOT verifications, and offer letter verification. Every result includes a clear, auditable record of how the answer was obtained. Superunit is built for consumer reporting agencies (CRAs), background screening companies, banks and mortgage lenders, and tenant screening firms. Customers use it to reduce turnaround times, cut verification costs, and scale volume without adding headcount.
