Professionalism and Skill Level: The designs presented in Figma fall significantly short of the professional standard we were promised. They appear to be the work of amateurs, not seasoned designers.
Technical Proficiency: The organization and use of Figma features are subpar, indicating a lack of expertise with the tool. This has resulted in poorly structured layers and inefficient workflows.
Turnaround Time and Originality: We are extremely disappointed with the turnaround time for minimal changes. More concerning is the lack of originality and innovation in these designs. Simple adjustments, like changing bullet point colors, do not justify the time taken.
Design and Aesthetics: The inconsistent layouts and poor spacing demonstrate a fundamental lack of design acumen. This inconsistency is not only unprofessional but also impacts the user experience adversely.
Self-Service Over Feedback: The quality is so lacking that I find myself preferring to make changes directly rather than providing feedback, which is a significant red flag.
Pricing vs. Quality: The hours billed for these projects are exorbitant, especially given the substandard quality of work delivered. This discrepancy is unacceptable.
Misrepresentation of Expertise: We were promised senior designer involvement, but the work received suggests reliance on AI and inexperienced designers. This is not what we agreed upon.
Resource Allocation: It appears that a disproportionate amount of our budget is being spent on project management and communication, rather than on the actual design work. This is not only inefficient but also ineffective.
Overall Experience and Contractual Concerns: The entire experience has been frustrating, to say the least. Furthermore, being locked into another 3-month contract under these circumstances is highly frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
