What problems is SuperAnnotate solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are working on text data. I can’t disclose too much here but our project required a software that would provide both the software and a platform to manage our data. We are working on our own project and annotating the documents ourselves. THis means we do need a data management platform to detect mistakes in labeling and correct them quickly. SuperAnnotate’s team was the easiest to work with to onboard and kickstart our work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SuperAnnotate?

We have really appreciated SuperAnnotate's adaptability. As new edge cases and error modes come up, our annotation needs change. SuperAnnotate has been an active partner in helping solve problems and working to deliver us the best datasets possible. And the tools and APIs they have available have been able to solve almost of our dataset use cases.

There are a lot of annotation vendors out there, so it is hard to say how SuperAnnotate compares in terms of quality/quantity/price tradeoffs, but we have been satisfied so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SuperAnnotate?

SuperAnnotate prefers upfront financial commitments, but charges on a per-label basis. It can be complicated to predict how much we will spend when we don't know ahead of time how many labels we will need for each image. And the partnership works best when there is a steady stream of work, so it has been a struggle sometimes to always keep the work queue full of new examples to label. I haven't worked with other companies, but I imagine this is common across the industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
