Setting up a product features demo has always been our top challenges, especially in our business we are dealing with SME owners where some of them has very limited understand on web applications. We have tried many tools including the very pricey Intercom product tour but yet the desired outcome is far from expectation. Supademo has completedly changed the way we need to set up the demo / learning process with our clients. It is so easy to use that in our first trial out with our team, we can hardly believe by merely clicking our our web app, Supademo has already captured all the actions with the correct interpretation of the button clicks and write up the action details with their AI tool. And most amazingly with one more click then the demo has a vocie over (PLUS it has Chinese Cantonese!) and guide through the entire process.
The implementation has also never been easier, or I'd say there's not really much to prepare for implemetation, it's practically a plug and play for our SAAS product.
With our plan we could use our company custom domain and we reached out to their customer support, they provided the instructions with clear details and the domain has been set up in just few days. Thumbs up to their superb response time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing we have problem is that Supademo couldn't fully integrate with Intercom support document and we need to export the Supademo scenario into GIF format to get around it. However we have decided to ditch Intercom support document feature entirely and migrate those documents to another solution that supports Supademo (there are many available integrations already established with Supademo, we chose Slite at the end). The creation of interactive product demos with Supademo becomes even easier thanks to the friendly interface and functionality. It is suitable for simple and fast demonstration of the software capabilities without special technical knowledge. Being able to make guides and tours with a simple ‘next, next’ button works wonders for organizations that have intricate processes to be communicated to a user. Other useful features include integrations and ability to demonstrate the product across several channels increasing its utility for the marketing and support teams. The platform still lacks some room for enhancement in terms of customization. For instance, there could have been greater flexibility in designing and branding the demos. Some more advanced analytics features for user engagement would be useful as well, beyond just seeing whether the user has clicked a specific icon. A few users may find it somewhat difficult to start off with all of the features of the certain platform due to some complexity in the initial walkthrough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Supademo is one of those apps that solves problems for you in ways that you just hadn't thought about - that's how much I like it.
I'm launching a SaaS and I've been looking for ways to solve user onboarding, and also overcome the challenge of presenting workflow choices to users.
Having already tried stuff like write ups, and video guides, I came upon Supademo which really impressed me with not just the base functionality you'd expect of easily building interactive demos, but additional features like Showcases (with examples to learn from) that lets you tell an entire story using demos.
I also arrived here after trying Storylane, so my feelings are that Supademo is more comprehensive as a tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I was forced to pick something, it'd probably be that HTML demos are either unavailable (yet), or from what the pricing table shows, will only be available for Enterprise customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I came across the capabilites of this product today, and have already marked it as the single best tool we will purchase this year. Many other similar sites are charging exponentially more. I have already created a few demos and am more than impressed. I really like the capabilty to use the extension but also the desktop app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far the only issue I have come across is dragging slides to a different order sometimes jumps further than I would like it, and it is hard to maintain understanding on which step needs to supersede others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a tool that replaces tedious-to-do instructional videos with intuitive instructions that are easy to understand and do.
Some time ago we had to make a video for each product, and it took hours to edit them. Thanks to this tool, we can do that, in steps and much easier.
It is the key tool for any kind of instruction with our customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like that when you use the blur, you can choose a blur color, as it adapts to the screen colors. There should be an option Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hey there, demo wizards! Let me tell you why Supademo is awesome, and replaced Arcade in my go to Demo toolset:
1. Easy-Peasy Lemon Squeezy: Unlike Arcade's head-scratching complexity, Supademo is so intuitive, you'll feel like a pro in no time.
2. Hotspot Heaven: Want to highlight specific areas? Supademo's custom hotspots have got you covered, leaving Arcade in the dust.
3. Auto Navigation Magic: Add directions faster than you can say "where to next?" It's like having a tiny tour guide built into your demo.
4. AI Voices That'll Blow Your Mind: Thanks to ElevenLabs, you can add AI narration that's so human-like, it's almost spooky. We're talking 95% human-sounding, even in German! Guten Tag, indeed!
5. Support Squad Goals: These folks respond faster than you can say "help!" Plus, they actually listen to your ideas.
6. Always Getting Better: Supademo's constantly evolving. It's like it hit the gym and got a makeover every week.
7. Wallet-Friendly Wonder: All these cool features without the eye-watering price tag. Supademo's competitive pricing means more awesome for less moolah! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would like them to become the new Loom, ubiquitous, always fresh, smart, affordable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UI/UX is super intuitive, I spent 0 time reading any docs and just went for it, and I'm close to having a perfect product demo that I never thought would be possible without painfully recording my screen, converting things to GIF etc (didn't even consider zooming and highlighting stuff).
having built simple ux's before i can't image what v1 of this thing looked like Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
None so far. one thing is it was unclear to me how to remove a purple box comment / annotation thing at first. i realized later that you have to click it and then on the left side bar click the garbage can here:
https://i.gyazo.com/13f035af7d67b0e14773e3c2b141551f.png
on a mbp 14" with a normal dock and chrome the garbage can was kinda hidden, and i wasn't sure if on clicking it would delete my slide, everything else super intuitive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's simple to capture screens and automatically add hotspots, texts, and zooms or blur. Also simple to learn, which is important to improve user adoption. The AI autogenerated voiceover is a nice addition too. Also the functionality to export the demo to a video or a SOP is really usefull for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One key need we have is to record a desktop tool and create a demo of it. We can simply record a video and upload it to the tool. But then we need to slice in the points where we want to include a hotspot. A dedicated desktop tool that is able to capture the screen or a desktop app and produce a video that is already slided by the clicks would be very useful. I think something similiar is on their roadmap Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Supademo is a very easy to use software that integrates seamlessly with the browser. It gives good baseline suggestions for what to put in your demo but also allows the user to customize a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The placement of certain features is a bit weird, like it's difficult to find the settings for where to make a hotspot show automatically. Also, sometimes the AI writing is a bit weird, so maybe if it's confused it would be better to not include any text on the slide at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am the COO and Co-Founder of a SaaS startup and have product responsibilities as well as customer service/success. I use Supademo daily, at least, to build product tutorials, FAQs, and our entire Intercom help desk. I have demos embedded in macros in Intercom so our outsourced team can share them more easily.
Do not sleep on this outstanding, elegant solution! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-I wish I could make the text boxes more transparent. Not just the hotspot, but the actual text box.
-I probably don't use most of the functionality bc the core product is so good. Not Supademo's fault. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of use going through the steps on the web app.
Adding my own images after the next step and place my own callout on the image.
Edit the contect and how the flow needs to be with zooming into the area of intrest.
Creating folders to organize my demos.
Creating specialized links to our users.
Embeding these demo's in our knowledge base for our users to have an interactive experience.
The list goes on!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app is realeasing more features so the issue is waiting for those features. There is a place to voice your feedback and the CEO is active in getting back to your questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
