## About FTC SUNPATH
SunDAT is a software plugin for automated design and optimization of photovoltaic systems such as residential, commercial or utility-scale sites, and optimize system layout, equipment hierarchy and energy output based on local site constraints and industry design standards. The software includes Shadow Simulation, Terrain Analysis, Module Layout, Structural Layout, Electrical Design, Energy Modeling and other calculations.

**What do you like best about FTC SUNPATH?**

It was originally a extension to add in Sketchup. The field was straight forward, and easy to set up the project. I'm able to get preliminary MW and main project data with the software.

**What do you dislike about FTC SUNPATH?**

SunDAT changed to an online version last year, and sometimes, it's hard to import the boundary to the online version. When the project is big, SunDAT took kind of a long time to run

**What problems is FTC SUNPATH solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me get a preliminary result for how many MW, inverters, solar panels can be fit in the project.
