I like that SumUp fully integrates everything throughout the system, including POS and the credit card processor. It's nice to have this integration, especially with the rewards program that operates on autopilot. The actual setup wasn't difficult, making it a simple, easy process. The system also makes ordering easier with available projections. I love their whole system, and it's the best system I've used so far, definitely giving it a 10 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about SumUp? The fact that it's all running off of Wi-Fi, occasionally, the credit card processor doesn't work. It'll disconnect here and there, but that's just minor and kind of infrequent. Most of the time, it pulls through just fine. But every now and again, it just kinda acts up. That would probably be the only thing that doesn't really work all that well. Everything else functions very smoothly. I would say there would be some back office inventory management tools that could be a little bit more helpful or, you know, make it a little easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is SumUp solving and how is that benefiting you? I use SumUp for everything in my store, like retail POS, inventory, and reports. The rewards program is integrated, which was hard to find elsewhere. It even runs on autopilot, making customer rewards easy and seamless, enhancing overall efficiency. We’re a small farm market that sells artisan baked goods and handcrafted items, and we’re proud to support our local farm community. SumUp makes it possible for us to bring our goods to where the people are. We can head to local farm markets without worrying, because SumUp has been a trusted partner for us. We found out later than we should have that it takes the tax out of the amount we type in, rather than adding it on to the customer’s total. Cash and ATH Móvil in Puerto Rico are great, but adding the SumUp was a total game-changer for my business. Now, my customers can pay quickly and securely with any credit or debit card. I love the fact that SumUp offers a variety of ways to pay, like Tap and Apple Pay, which makes payment processing easy for my customers. Some of my customers appreciate that they can insert their cards. I also love the receipt options, whether it's printing, texting, or emailing the receipt to customers. What I love most is not needing to use my hot spot, and the device being very lightweight and versatile. I can use the handheld device or take out the little device from the charger. It's cool that the Internet connection is embedded, saving me from extra hotspot charges. It easily fits in one hand, making it convenient for me, especially when working outside the mall. The only thing is some of our elderly customers don't have chips on their cards, so they'd prefer a swipe option. It would be cool if SumUp could add a swipe feature on the device itself. As a consignor with Sumup, I get my sales money instantly, instead of waiting for a check from my Consignee. I get to see my inventory and sales movement instantly. Very easy to use and drives me more sales compared to only accepting cash or other modes of digital payments. Having the merchant card service device allows me to never lose a sale. I'm able to charge for my food and drinks on a daily or weekly basis and send receipts to my clients. I can process payments and get my funds in two business days. I don't have to pay any monthly fees, as I bought the card machine outright. I like the easy transaction process and the next day payout. Being able to access your money quickly soon after the transaction is made is great. Offering multiple payment methods, especially for a salon and customers who don't carry cash, is a big plus for my business. It allows customers to use their phones to pay effortlessly. I don't particularly care that the SumUp cutoff time is approximately 5PM eastern time. Most of my clients come in after work, so the payments wouldn't be processed until the next day, and then it'll be paid out the day after that. SumUp solved the problem of customers not carrying cash by allowing TapPay or Apple Pay with cards.
