I've been using SuccessCOACHING for about a year to enhance my knowledge in customer success management. I also appreciated the specific examples used in training, as they showed the application across various environments and disciplines. Furthermore, the review and training for each section ensure that I have captured the key points, helping me utilize the training effectively.

I think some of the production quality could be worked on a little bit. There's some background noise in some of them. And there's some umming and hemming and hawing in the speech that I think could be cleared up to make a more concise lesson. It would be easier to stay engaged with it without, the pauses in what you're learning.

What I like best about is its emphasis on empathy, relationship-building, and long-term partnership. The program recognizes that successful customer relationships are built through trust, active listening, and a genuine understanding of customer goals—not just through resolving issues or completing tasks.

I also appreciate that the training provides practical frameworks that can be applied immediately in real customer conversations. One challenge I experienced with is that some of the scenarios and examples can feel somewhat generalized, especially for people working in highly relationship-driven fields like education. I use SuccessCOACHING for courses designed for Customer Success Managers. The first two levels I've completed were helpful. The first level offered a solid introduction to Customer Success, and the second level was more advanced, presenting crucial information that I needed to know. These levels have helped me become a better Customer Success Manager, made me feel more confident in my role, and have inspired me to explore more ideas. I find some of the methodologies they use particularly useful, and I appreciate when they use examples to effectively explain how to approach specific scenarios.

**What do you dislike about SuccessCOACHING?**

The content is okay-ish, but I hope the next levels will be better in how the presentations are delivered. Sometimes it feels a bit boring and not interactive, even though the content can be good. I suggest making the videos more interactive to keep the student more engaged.

I use SuccessCOACHING to advance my team by helping create growth opportunities and providing streamlined training for my success managers. My team appreciated the module on how to deal with difficult customers, as it empowered them to handle tough conversations better and focus on the best solutions instead of offering every option. The modules are beneficial, and we've been creating cohorts to go through them together to reflect and ideate on how to implement the teachings. The success managers (CSMs) feel more empowered, which shows the effectiveness of the modules. I plan to expand this training to new team members to ensure they have the same baseline training and common language.

I think the modules could be shorter and more engaging. It's easier to engage and participate as a cohort.

I like the speed of the instruction, and the graphics helping illustrate their point, and the interactive tasks to learn by doing.

**What do you dislike about SuccessCOACHING?**

taking the survey at the end of each lesson. Maybe at the end of a unit or something. I went through all 5 units, and that was a lot of surveys. I filled them out at the start, but by the end I had memorized where on the screen to click next so it wasn't getting my honest feedback anyway.

**Recommendations to others considering SuccessCOACHING:**

I wish I had started with a more organized note system. I took notes while I was going through the class, on my own, but midway through I switched to the ones provided by SuccessCoaching, and that was much easier.

I didn't really know what a Success Department should be or how it should be managed until taking this class. Now I have a very good working knowledge of goals I should be steering my department toward, and how to achieve them.

**What do you like best about SuccessCOACHING?**

I loved the workbooks because I could download them and annotate them while I watched the video lessons. They were designed in a visually pleasing way, and they made it easy for me to go back and refresh my understanding whenever I had a question.

**What do you dislike about SuccessCOACHING?**

The audio in some of the videos wasn’t very clear, and several of them had a noticeable amount of background noise. Sometimes the activities that went along with each unit felt overwhelming and confusing. It would be nice to have a cohort you are completing these tasks with.

It is a great investment into your career and I would recommend completing as many levels as possible

I use SuccessCOACHING to sharpen my CSM skills and to improve and upskill my enterprise CSM team. It's great for creating a common framework and a common language around customer success. I love how SuccessCOACHING is easy to use, affordable, and flexible. The assessments and certifications are particularly valuable as they offer personal value to my team, allowing them to carry forward these certifications if they move on to other roles. I appreciate the tools like the success plan template, which are easily adaptable to our environment. Practitioners teach the classes and bring real-world experience to each lesson, making the learning process both engaging and credible. I appreciate that there are different levels of certification. It's the type of service that you can grow with, and our team is now level one certified and pursuing level two certification. There are specific modules for specific areas of the CSM role, providing multiple growth opportunities with SuccessCOACHING. Overall, I find the training to be excellent.

**What do you dislike about SuccessCOACHING?**

Ironically, they don't really have very good support. I don't know if we even have a CSM or an account manager. It's actually a little bit of work to just figure out how we can add more people to our account or to know who to contact.

It was a good training; I completed CCSM Level 1. The process was smooth, useful, and well organized. However, I believe this certification course is no longer available, as it seems they have changed it.

The content covers the CS fundamentals you'd expect, and it's self-paced, which worked well for our team's schedules.

**What do you dislike about SuccessCOACHING?**

Two things stand out. First, the platform itself is clunky and not intuitive, navigating the course content felt like more work than it should. Second, and more notably, there has been zero proactive outreach from an account manager. No check-in on how our team is progressing, no inquiry into whether we need additional support, no guidance on next steps. For a company that trains customer success professionals, the lack of attention to their own customer experience is hard to overlook.

**Recommendations to others considering SuccessCOACHING:**

Go in with measured expectations. If you need a structured, self-serve curriculum to get your CS team up to speed on fundamentals, SuccessCOACHING can serve that purpose. But don't expect a partnered experience, you're largely on your own once you purchase. If hands-on support and account engagement matter to your organization, make sure to ask pointed questions about what post-sale support looks like before committing.

We used SuccessCOACHING's Level 1 and Level 2 courses to build a foundational skill set across our CSM team. The core problem we were trying to solve was getting our team aligned on CS fundamentals and best practices. The curriculum does address that need at a baseline level, and our team came away with a shared vocabulary and framework for customer success work.

They give a nice introduction into the profession and basic things that a professional needs.

**What do you dislike about SuccessCOACHING?**

1. I was happy with the program, until I noticed that THEY KEPT WITHDRAWING MONEY even though I cancelled the program. First of all it's crazy that buying the course you don't actually buy the course, but rather the access to it, and you have to PAY EVERY YEAR if you want to keep access. And if you cancel the course, you need to CANCEL each course SEPARATELY, because they will keep withdrawing your money from your card. 
When I tried to reach out to support - they DIDN'T REPLY neither by email not in their chat, just bot kept popping up, no answers from real people for almost a month. Looks like they avoid the topic. Very POOR customer EXPERIENCE.
2. Some of the questions in the final test were ambiguous and not clear, some answers looked strange.

Please make sure you cancel every course you bought, otherwise they will just keep draining your card until you notice.

I really appreciate the structured nature of the modules that SuccessCOACHING set up. The program’s structured modules break down the fundamentals of customer success into easy-to-digest segments that are targeted towards specific content. It provides not just videos and vocal recordings, but also worksheets and other materials to aid us in real-world practices. The inclusion of quiz questions, handouts, and charts as I worked through the modules was particularly beneficial. Additionally, the platform’s reasonable (discounted!) pricing for the level one modules at $49.50 offered incredible value, making it accessible without significant financial burden. I really like how easy it is to get through the lessons. So many other courses can be cumbersome and clunky to use. SuccessCOACHING is super simple and straight forward. It also makes it easy to go back and review lessons if needed. I also like all the documentation they provide at the beginning of each section!

**What do you dislike about SuccessCOACHING?**

I wish there was a full course booklet or text book you could purchase to have this info. Sometimes having it all printed would be nice but I do not have a printer to print the course notes on my own.

**Recommendations to others considering SuccessCOACHING:**

Jump in with the level 1 first. It gives you a good feel for how it will be and for the price, its a no brainer.

They are solving the need to have a standardized training for success teams, just like project management has the PMP. These courses are a fantastic way to get some certifications to show you have the knowledge of being a CSM.

As a neurodivergent individual, I sometimes find it difficult to focus and digest information when reading and learning. However, this course was exceptionally clear, and I especially appreciated having a speaker instead of just reading text. That approach really brought the material to life for me.

**What do you dislike about SuccessCOACHING?**

I believe the exam could be made more challenging to ensure that everyone who becomes certified has truly absorbed the material. I spent a lot of time preparing, but I noticed that many of the questions were repeated in the exam almost word for word from the course content. Since the exam is open book, this might allow some people to achieve CCSM qualification before they are fully ready.

Its unified the team toward a common goal of client success and given us the tools to provide it. We did the course 1 session per week with discussion so it did take some time but looking back I think that was really valuable in that consistent discussion over time reinforcing the habit of viewing all things through the client lens and then our own.

The videos are for sure dry and cheesy but if you can get to the meat of the content and set the expectation that each participant needs to share a nugget they gleaned, it does lead to good discussion.

Do it in groups so that the discussion around how the material applied to a specific client that week can reinforce the ideas. For sure go through it again later. Our CEO had done it several times and mentioned it was a different growth mindset each time.

As a virtual team it can be hard to align focus and goals. This training shifted mindset to client success to the forefront. Self paced, on-demand training with thoughtful exercises to help me put what I learned into practice. As  I grew book recommendations and webinars meant that I was continuously growing, even after completing the training. In fact, this year I completed Level II. Even if some of the information is familiar, there are helpful reflections that cause me to pause an re-evaluate my approach.

The availability of local languages other than English would be appreciated above of in regard to exercises and exams. As for the exams, I did not love the fact that corrections of the failed questions are not provided; the questions with several correct responsive require high-level interpretation of the modules content which is tricky and particularly challenging for non native-speakers. The experience with CCSM Lev1 was flawless, the one with CCSM Lev2 was much more time consuming due to the above and to inconsistencies particularly in the exercises with corrections and in the exam experience (I provided Success Coaching Customer Service with much feedback).

I felt that the knowledge check questions prepared me well for the final test.  The resources were apprecitated to have available for during the modules as well for review later and studying.

Great resources available, and good content that is available to download offline and review. It makes it easy to stay on top of all of content that is provided. Overall the content has been solid and extremely relevant for my role. I really enjoy the gamification approach and badge system that can you get excited and share your progress with other users.

I liked that the overall course was spread into hour-long lessons. I liked that each lesson had an agenda, and that each lesson had workbooks and overviews that we could download and takeaway.

SuccessCOACHING's modules are not very exciting. Some of the lessons are a little outdated, and better suited for an in-person office environment which isn't as typical now in a post-COVID world. Similarly, the content itself is basically a narrated slide deck, which is not the most engaging.

I'd recommend supplementing the SuccessCOACHING lessons with team discussions. Sometimes I got more value from the conversations after the lesson, because the lesson was a good conversation-starter to something more relevant and timely to my business specifically.

We used SuccessCOACHING's online trainings to upskill our younger customer success team. My team, me included, have served our clients for years but without any formal model to operate under. We're hoping that this added discipline leads to more renewals and higher customer satisfaction.

I really did like the material we covered. The coaching did provide me with tools and approaches to take within my own CSM organization. That said, there are some sections which don't apply as much to my company's brand of CSM because we are limited in our customer count per CSM.

There is just no way for me to sugar-coat it...the non-British trainer is one of the very worst speakers I have ever listened to. He talks way to fast, sounds like he's on the verge of choking on his own tongue half of the time, and doesn't understand how to take a conversational approach to teaching. He simply is not a good presenter.

The information we learn across the CCSM coaching training is great, but the delivery is not stellar overall. One of the trainers is far better than the other, but both need a bit of work. The British trainer is far superior to the other fellow, but his sessions are often 2-5 mins longer than they need to be because he sometimes rambles. The other guy is simply not a good speaker nor should he be training anyone. 

The material is good, but when it comes across as series of lists after lists it steals from the impact each list can have. In other words, if you give a bunch of lists of steps and ideas its hard to decipher which are most important. This leads to a bit of fatigue for the student.
