Zengine has been a great tool to manage grants from start to finish. It is greatly customizable and the Implementation team is extremely helpful in making the program work for their clients. The application submission and review process is great - very helpful when managing lots of applicants. Unfortunately, beyond that I am not finding much value to expedite our funding process. The system I had manually created using Google Sheet for donation tracking seems more efficient, as I have to go into multiple accounts every month and enter multiple scholarship payments. I guess if you are issuing and distributing one scholarship and never have to follow-up, it may make sense, but we deplete funds monthly for all of our scholarships, so it's bulky and time-consuming. The concept of the platform is great, but I have yet to understand why they charge SO MUCH for it. I can create something close in Airtable and pay 1/100 of the cost of Submittable. The interface is clean and intuitive to use, both as the creator and for users. The drag-and-drop features make building forms incredibly easy and the finished product leaves lots of white space and a great look for applicants.
