It offers a platform where different categories of parking permits can be issued to members of the public. As roughly 70% of applicants apply for these permits via Submit.com, it supports us in delivering a high-quality service as part of our day-to-day tasks and duties. One feature I particularly value is the option to archive applications that have been assessed, deemed successful, and issued to the permit holder. This makes it easier to distinguish between applications that have been successful and issued, and those that may require further investigation or additional checks. It also helps us archive and store records for the appropriate length of time in line with current GDPR guidelines. **What do you dislike about Submit.com?** While Submit.com offers a range of high-quality features that support day-to-day parking permit tasks, one issue in particular can reduce the efficiency of delivering this service: allowing applicants to create multiple draft applications. When applicants are able to do this, it can cause confusion for both employees and applicants, especially when additional documentation is requested. In those situations, documents may end up being uploaded to the wrong main application, particularly if several draft applications are active at the same time. **What problems is Submit.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** Submit.com is particularly beneficial when it comes to the assessment and issuing timeline for Parking Permits. When an applicant applies online for a Residents Parking Permit, they can submit copies or photographs of the documents requested as part of the application process. During assessment, if needed, we can message the applicant directly and ask them to upload any missing or corrected documentation. We can also convert the application back to draft so the applicant can complete this action. By doing this, we eliminate the need to return the application and all included documents to the applicant’s address by post. As a result, the overall processing time is faster because it removes the need to physically return any hard-copy application forms or documents for applications that require further assessment. ### 2. It centralises the scoring process and keeps all information in the same place so it’s easier to track. ### 3.
