What truly stands out is the exceptional startup speed and lightweight performance. Compared to heavier IDEs like Eclipse or STS, Sublime Text launches instantly and allows me to begin coding without delay. The interface is minimal and distraction-free, which helps maintain focus and productivity.
Features like Multiple Cursors, Command Palette, Split Editing, and extensive plugin support significantly enhance efficiency. I also appreciate the strong community support and availability of online resources whenever issues arise. Over time, I have transitioned from Eclipse to Sublime Text, and currently I use it for the majority of my development work due to its simplicity and performance advantage. While Sublime Text excels in speed and flexibility, the absence of built-in integrated debugging is a noticeable limitation. Native debugging support would greatly enhance the development workflow and make it more competitive with full-featured IDEs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
