The best part of this software suite is that it is exceptionally easy to work with and begin development, a lot of other systems require more background work like address mapping which RSLogix manages for you. The cost of the software compared to any comparible platform is incredibly high and the competition has been catching up to some of the ease of use in the rockwell environment. Recommendations to others considering Studio 5000: Unless you have a very specific need to get the annual "Toolkit" subscription, look at purchasing lifetime licenses because it will save you a lot in a couple years.
