I've used products from JetBrains and PremiumSoft, and this is far the very best of them. I have saved countless hours using this product with its ability to quickly edit records and manage my databases. **What do you dislike about Studio 3T?** While the product is great, they could back off the price a little. For me, there is not much choice of any other product. I enjoy the fact that knowing the query language is not necessary as the GUI allows me to vast majority of necessary tasks, including data size & storage size of particular dbs. **What do you dislike about Studio 3T?** Working with licences is a bit confusing, I had to contact support for advice when transferring my licence to another Mac. The price tag, given that a Basic plan for 1 year is chosen, is not very friendly. It's a shame a plan even more basic than the actual Basic is absent as it could be cheaper and find a wider audience that, for price reasons, uses alternatives such as NoSQL Booster. What I also miss is some elementary cloud space that would facilitate storing of connection data so that I don't need to migrate it between laptops manually. **Recommendations to others considering Studio 3T:** Studio3T is an excellent tool for anyone administering MongoDB databases. Consider, however, if it's worth the monthly bill since for very basic tasks there are free alternatives. I would absolutely recommend, though, to have at least one or two licences in the team. **What problems is Studio 3T solving and how is that benefiting you?** Knowledge of the MongoDB syntax is not necessary to perform crucial tasks with databases. I work with MongoDB quite rarely so focusing on the syntax wouldn't make much sense as the priorities of my position in terms of skills lie elsewhere. You can use SQL (if that's your cup of tea) and quickly get the code for your programming language/API. **What do you dislike about Studio 3T?** The JSON data editor is a bit clumsy to use. I often prepare/edit data in another editor or programmatically. We recently started using the Compare and Sync feature which massively reduced our ship times to days.
