## StreamYard Reviews
  ### 1. Effortless Livestreaming, Perfect for Weekly Shows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily H. | The Communicator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2026

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I use StreamYard to livestream a weekly talk show/video cast and it’s great because it is an easy-to-use system that allows me to host 3 regular guests plus a new guest each week. The in-browser system is a big plus, as there is no need to download an app, and it connects easily with social channels like Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. I like the capabilities StreamYard offers, such as adding intros/outros, videos, and graphics to the stream, as well as the commenting feature. It's also easy for guests to log in through a computer or mobile device. The initial setup of StreamYard was straightforward and easy to learn.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Sometimes there can be technical difficulties. You have to make sure your mic/headphones/video is connected correctly before you get in the studio. If you get in the studio and then want to connect or disconnect headphones, you have to exit out and come back in. Recently, we have had an issue where the guest can hear 2/3 hosts but not one for some reason.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

StreamYard makes it easy to host multiple guests and livestream to Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube without needing to download an app. It offers user-friendly features like intros, graphics, and live comments.

  ### 2. Cost-Effective, User-Friendly Streaming with High-Quality Output

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hayley W. | ;, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

StreamYard is a very cost effective, user friendly platform that supports all of our streaming needs. As a nonprofit, we don’t have a huge budget for streaming or producing content, but StreamYard helps us share our videos with ease and high-quality outputs.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

We like the monthly payment model, but sometimes we forget to cancel. A month to month option instead of a subscription would be ideal for times when we’re not using the platform.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a nonprofit, we need high-quality tools that don’t break the bank. StreamYard is that product! With StreamYard, we can create seamless, professional looking videos and reach a broader audience—all within our budget!

  ### 3. StreamYard Makes Live Streaming Easy with Great Quality and an Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hayley W. | Communications Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

StreamYard is extremely user-friendly and intuitive. The quality of streams is great, the user interface is easy to navigate, and it is super easy to connect to other platforms to broadcast live (website, social media, etc.).

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

It would be cool to have more design elements within the app (graphics, captions, etc.).

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a nonprofit, we don't have a large marketing or event budget, and StreamYard is a high-quality, affordable option that helps use reach people with live and pre-recorded streams.

  ### 4. Best Live Streaming Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2022

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Streamyard is the best live broadcasting studio I have been using this platform for 6-7 months, i found this platform very useful for telecasting live sessions. It is very easy to use, cose effective and time-managing tool. We can edit the description, thumbnail, and topic whenever we want before the live session begins which is very useful. Also if we are not available for the live session we can even record the video prior and can upload it in pre-recorded option we can sit back and watch the live session which goes live automatically at that particular time that we have fixed. Awesome tool.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Streamyard is best, but I have some suggestions, once the session is broadcasted live at that time we are unable to edit the description which I faced a little bit of problem also while live commenting on the platform it does not support long answers hence it's cutting the sentence into two and displaying which is a bit weird also once we comment live if those texts have little mistakes we cannot edit/delete that particular text which makes us upset. Otherwise, streamyard tool is great.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

i would like to say that streamyard is the best video broadcasting tool for youtubes and other platforms it makes your work goal easier.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned the live comments that once we publish live cannot be deleted if it has some mistake if that's solved streamyard is just a piece of cake, also budget/plan is also great and perfect, also we can record and do a testing video which is also very helpful.

  ### 5. One of the Most Disappointing Experiences I’ve Had With a SaaS Tool

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Cross-stream option, allowinf me to stream to various destinations

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I purchased StreamYard’s plan in good faith based on recommendations. I seriously regret that decision. Now that I know how they operate, I will actively avoid recommending them to anyone.

Nowhere do they inform users about the extremely limiting cap on how many people can join the studio. I found out during my live stream - with 150 registered attendees attempting to join - only to be met with a constant pop-up saying the limit is 15 people. This is critical information, and the fact that it’s hidden or not mentioned anywhere is unacceptable.

I reached out to support 24 hours before the stream asking for clarity and guidance. And what did I get? Nothing. No helpdesk article. No call. No response. I left five messages, stayed up late assuming support might reply from a different timezone, but I heard absolutely nothing.

I haven’t been this disappointed or angry at a tool in a long time. Even tiny startups built over a weekend - let alone major companies like Cisco - can provide faster and more responsible support to paying customers in urgent situations.

I will not be hosting webinars again anytime soon. But when I do, I’ll make sure to find an alternative to StreamYard so I never have to deal with this kind of negligence again.

I’ll also share this experience across review platforms so others don’t walk into the same trap.

Absolutely unacceptable.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It did quite the opposite - it created new problems for me.

  ### 6. Easy to Use and Perfect for Streaming to Multiple Destinations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jua C. | Digital Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

It’s very easy to use. I can connect one stream to multiple destinations.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

As per right now i have not issues with streamyard

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are being more efficient with the creation of clips after you are donde with your stream. That saves me a lot of time.

  ### 7. 3+ Years Loyal Customer: Unusable Service, Zero Support, Forced to Cancel

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** April C. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Easy branding, overlays, and guest highlighting made my wellness show professional and seamless for 3+ years.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Recordings freeze, black screens, no audio; generic AI support ignores issues; forced upgrade to an expensive plan.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Used to solve live guest interviews for YouTube/LinkedIn, but recent failures cost me time/content—now unusable.

  ### 8. Seamless and professional live streaming made easy!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marina C. | Head of Marketing, Education Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2024

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

StreamYard keeps live streaming super easy and professional. I love the intuitiveness of the platform, right from no downloads to direct streaming via your browser. We use it to host webinars with our clients and potential ones, as a lead gen initiative. Being able to customize branding, adding overlays, and inviting guests with only a link has been incredible. It's super reliable, even during multiple streams to different platforms at the same time. From webinars to interviews, StreamYard sends off live events in truly polished, engaging ways.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I do find it a bit expensive, especially for smaller teams or businesses just starting out. Given the ease of use, reliability, and professional features that it offers, I think it's worth investing in. It saves so much time and gives great results; hence, it is worth it as far as live streaming is concerned.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

StreamYard has made it super easy to run professional live streams, webinars, and virtual events without needing technical expertise or complicated setups. It removes the need for expensive production equipment and complex software to allow us to produce high-quality, branded content directly from our browser.

This really opened up our reach and engagement to stream simultaneously on multiple platforms, meeting our audience wherever they are. Its collaboration with team members is super smooth: inviting guests, controlling the stream in real time-everything's pretty seamless. Overall, this saved time, simplified our workflow, and really raised the quality bar of our live content.

  ### 9. The customer experience and customer support have severely deteriorated

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 🎤 Jorge L S. | Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2024

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I have been using this product for many years and was a big fan. The product is easy to use.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

The customer experience and customer support have severely deteriorated. Nearly every support ticket response is incorrect or not related to my inquiry or bug report. They used to have chat-based help now it's just poor email support. They changed pricing without allowing users to opt-in and only communicated it once buried in a long email.

I was so loyal that despite the poor experience I have not churned YET.

The product has not been having severe bugs that are not being addressed -- and again support is not understanding.

I suspect they either have poorly implemented AI or their support team is not reading or don't care.

The entire experience has gone downhill after the RingCentral acquisition. VERY sad.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They were solving the LinkedIn live streaming and podcast recording problems for me.

  ### 10. Good for Certain Contexts But Has Limitations

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anne W. | On Air Guest/Product Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2025

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I liked that Streamyard doesn't require a password to log in but just sends a code to the registered email. Makes it easy. You can easily add people remotely to your broadcast as well.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I found the platform difficult to use if you needed to refer to notes. No teleprompter feature when I was using it. Had to import tiny snippets of notes into the side bar and it took absolutely forever.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I liked being able to pop up viewers' comments as we were doing our live broadcast. Helped the audience interact with me and each other.

  ### 11. It is a very good app I use for interviews and ministry

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nakia D. | Top Apprentice , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

How good it is in adding multiple people and doesn't mess up as much as other apps

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Nothing it's pretty good and easy to use

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To be able to have a platform to use that works well

  ### 12. I was great now is to expensive

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

the new price it has increase too much adn now there is many competitors.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was to hard or compicate to record and edit my podcast individually

  ### 13. Best and easiest streaming service for beginners

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lopaze L. | Copywriter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Creating videos and blog post for Youtube

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I don't dislike anything at this time or anything I can think of at the moment

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Live streaming made simple for me and I reach out and have better conversations with my followers

  ### 14. My go-to Video platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2024

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I like the options I have to share my screen, and HOW to share it. I can make my face be super-imposed over the screen, or vice versa. I can be in a box on the side, or in the corner. I can make the screen show up a few different sizes. I get to pick which window online I want to show, I get to decide if I want to show something I have open in my desktop.
It is very intuirive, it is the easiest to use and least buggy platform I have tried.
Any time I wish to shoot a video of myself, with sound and have better footage captured than a selfie video, I go to streamyard. I made a lot of reaction videos with it, and have made a couple of talking head videos.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Honestly, I cannot complain.

Maybe if I wanted to have more people on, it would be problematic if I was not interested in paying to do so.
I have a free account. I could get more features and space if I wanted to, but I have not needed them as yet.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I actually have not sent a stream out live, I took recordings and downloaded them and edited them or uploaded them to YouTube alternatives.
I could not find anything reliable that I could make my reaction videos with, that I make on occasion, and my other videos I make for fun.
I originally planned to use it as part of a business promotion, but those plans changed. When I get out of school and get back to making videos, I will use streamyard for making prmotional videos and any other content involving voiceover or video footage of me that has to be better than what my phone does.
At that point, I will probably upgrade again. I am looking forward to it.
In the meantime, I am still enjoying the free version as a hobby!

  ### 15. Streamyard is THE choice tool for serious streamers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney C. | Owner, Publishing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2024

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I am an author and editor who uses Streamyard weekly to conduct live panels, news breifs, and interviews with my collegues. The quality of the stream is always clear, and the controls are easy to use, even for some of my technically challeneged guests. I love that Streamyard has so many features ready for me at the click of a button. I can insert a graphic or video that's relevant to our conversation, and I can even change the way the guests are displayed on screen, like zooming into the person who is currently speaking, or allowing all guests to be displayed in a certain order and configuration. Streamyard also integrates nicely to multiple streaming services, not just YouTube. And better yet, not only can you stream to multiple platforms, you can do so all at the same time, so no picking and choosing or hopping from platform to platform, do it all in one go!

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

The downside of Streamyard is that it is difficult for some guests to use if they are on an android phone as Streamyard does not currently have an app for those users. In those cases they have to use a chrome browser and some times even using that, people do get dropped in and out of the stream. This is a feature I would like to see developed. There are many times my guests are traveling and don't have acess to other reliable methods to stream.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamyard lets me have a large group of authors, editors, and industry professionals together at one time, unlike other apps that limit the conversation o a handful of people. With a business account you can currently have up to ten people on screen with 5 more backstage.
Being able to have a larger group means a more interesting conversation and at times a longer conversation which produces a plethora of expertise in one session.

  ### 16. Vodcasting made easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett L. | Marketing Director (Volunteer), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2024

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I have used StreamYard for a few years now and it is super easy to use and very intuitive

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

The price for multiple streams - it seems unfair to charge for additional streams as the technology is the same, but I guess that is how they make their money

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When Covid forced us to stay at home I was able to continue doing my show, TechKnowledgy, from home. I have not gone back to a studio and continue to do the show from StreamYard.

  ### 17. Great streaming platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grace I. | CEO, Information Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Simplicity. Real ease of use. Anyone can jump on and use it straight away. Affordable packages and great support from their team.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Could do with a StreamDeck integration. Audio mixer and ability to stream portrait video.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

High quality recordings. Easy to invite people and bring them onscreen. Custom layouts allow for BSL interpreters to be onscreen throughout making our streams accessible to all.

  ### 19. Easy to use solution for video streaming

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhinav D. | Creative Strategy Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2023

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Super easy to use. Intuitive UI and even someone who is not well-versed with tech can easily access and operate StreamYard. Very useful for small businesses who need to have frequent video meetings and presentations.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Requires a very good internet connection - sometimes that proves to be challenging. The competitors lilke Restream do not require high bandwidth and can operate on a basic internet connection as well.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For a lot of our clients, I need to organise live streams where there are more than 3 speakers. StreamYard lets me set this up without any hassle and I can also save my video templates so I can reuse it.Recording the livestream and then sharing it on other platforms has been made simpler with StreamYard. The layout options are easy to understand and always work well.

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2023

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

The ease to not only deploy but invite even the most inexperienced users seamlessly is the pinnacle of StreamYard's offerings. It's easy to deploy and easy to use, but even easier to integrate our social channels making it a breeze to push forward to our audience.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

There isn't really anything to dislike, our video department still utilizes StreamYard on a semi-daily basis at this point.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the sports industry – you have to be a comprehensive media company/member. Without live video, you may as well see yourself out. StreamYard allows us to be not just a member of the sports industry, but a leading one at that.

  ### 22. Great service!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary Beth H. | VP, Community Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

We have not played with all of the capabilities, so I can't answer this.

  ### 23. Apt for live presentation, small group meeting.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rianka S. | Assistant Professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2022

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Very easy to connect, ideal for non-tech friendly people.

Has option of being in the backstage.

Best for live presentations, events and podcasts.

Doesn't need any app installation

Has options of moderation, screen recording, event scheduling, multiple screen, customizable branding,

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

If internet connection of one person is disturbing, the entire session gets affected.

The screen sharing option is tacky.

Needs good and stable internet connection, otherwise it can cause disruptions.

Connection is frequently lost in between

Only 6 on-screen participants are allowed within the window.

Has only one audio track and does not allow post-editing while live streaming

Customer service isn't that good.

Media player is limited to a small size, only 100 MB

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamyard is working on its internet glitch issues. It is one of the biggest drawback of Streamyard. If this is sorted, streamyard is perfect for use within small group. Apart from it, they are also introducing new features and increasing the number of people allowed. Streamyard is also working on the customer service.

  ### 24. StreamYard is a great service for creators, businesses, and more

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mekel K. | Content Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2023

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I like the ease of use and setting up of StreamYard to be able to record conversations of either video or audio format as well as being able to multistream to various platforms.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I dislike the general lack of a discounted price for StreamYard partners or atleast when I was part of their partner program. Alot of the pricing plans are beaten out by competitors such as Melon and Restream as well as them offering more features and functionality.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I started using StreamYard, it was making it incredibly easy for me to be able to do interviews with guests on my podcasts and either record or livestream my show on various outlets. Before StreamYard, I had to struggle with using Skype and Discord with varying quality.

  ### 25. StreamYard is a very easy to use solution for streaming, even including multiple locations.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlie v. | Partner, Research, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2022

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Its interface is simple and straightforward. It can be used at no cost to get started, then the subscription fee is quite reasonable, and unlocks some very nice features.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

The main reason we moved away from StreamYard (to Wirecast) was that we ended up equipping our Sanctuary with an array of pro-level IP til-pan-zoom cameras. StreamYard isn't meant to control cameras like that - it's excellent for switching between static webcams and the like, but we ended up with more equipment than StreamYard was made to handle.
It was an excellent way for us to start streaming - especially considering we could just use equipment we already had. It just wasn't quite powerful enough for what we ended up buying.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We started with StreamYard shortly after the COVID-19 lockdowns in order to stream worship services to our members via YouTube. It's simple operation and easy integration with our YouTube channel made it easy for a few of us to just jump in and make it work.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem that stream yard solves is to allow a non-techie to easily live stream. I am more productive

User-Friendly and paid plans are so affordable! Enjoy learning from the Facebook online community and the training with Q&A sessions they host regularly.

Anytime I've had an issue, the support team has been helpful. I would like to be able to post directly to IG instead of using a restream service.

The scheduling tool to announce upcoming videos.

Image quality, audio, and practicality.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Organization of the live streams I create, the live streams are automatically organized by order of creation, it would be better if I could choose the order, for example, it would be better if the live streams were organized by the date they will be held.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of conducting live streams on YouTube and LinkedIn, in addition, I can play opening jingles and change the background of the broadcast, making the live stream more professional.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin Steven Q. | Founding Partner - Director of Sales & Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2022

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Streaming to multiple platforms has been a lifesaver for me.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I can't think of a thing, easier to use.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

StreamYard was easy for me to get up and running on. Get out there and stream!

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am currently coaching 800 business owners and found that being able to stream live into the platforms they prefer simultaneously works best for them. YouTube, a Facebook group, and a Facebook page at the same time. Not all of them use Facebook, but they can watch on other platforms. Easier for me to control their engagement from StreamYard than the other platform I was using. StreamYard is far more innovative in my opinion. I won't go back.

  ### 33. A Review of Streamyard by a Regular User

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike G. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2022

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

The interface is simple and straightforward to setup going live. As well, I had no trouble adding in and integrating my social media accounts to go live in multiple places. I LOVE the ease of downloading the video and audio afterwards as well (I make a podcast from the audio).

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

They've made improvements in the past year so much so that there is little to dislike. If there is one thing, I'd like to have the live comments be higher on the view so that as I look at the camera I can see comments versus needing to look down to the bottom right to see the latest comments coming in. It forces me to look away from direct eye contact with the camera.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a tool to simplify going live in multiple places at once. I used to only use Facebook live and then downloaded the video and uploaded it to YouTube as a video but now I can go live on both at the same time with a click!

  ### 34. Easy to set-up, run and manage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael H. | Chief Strategy Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Data Connectors live streams 30+ Virtual Summits Annually. Zoom was down with technical issues one day. We found StreamYard via a Google Search, installed and tested it, and was up and running LIVE - streaming to 800 via our RTMP to our Virtual Summit Platform (EngageZ) in under 45 minutes.

Easy to use. Online/chat support was good enough and effective. Pro pricing is very reasonable.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Would like more recording features, options for "scenes" and the ability to add additional moderators/co-hosts (they have this in the business plan, but that is not for us).

Was the best after considering several alternatives.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

I would check out both pro and business.
If you need for socal live stream (i.e. LinkedIn) GREAT choice.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

StreamYard is our solution for RTMP Live Streaming to Virtual Events and social platforms like LinkedIn Live.

We are able to use this for our Virtual Summits, which is what our business is all about. As we move back into Conferences (in-person), we will continue to use it for Web Briefings (also using RTMP) and regularly for our LinkedIn Live Briefings.

StreamYard made is easy for us to drop down our Zoom Subscription - and it solves for the live streams MUCH better than Zoom did.

  ### 35. Easy to use for live streaming

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cori F. | Educational Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I love that Streamyard allows you to completely customize the stream without needing to have a background in videography. If you can use a video call software, you can start livestreaming with Streamyard.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

There is a limit to how many people can participate in a call. For screensharing, it's hard to queue up a second screen while the first person is sharing. Or at least, I haven't figured out how to do it.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

I have tried a few live streaming options and find that StreamYard has the best features and ease of use. I recommend trying the free version first but know that you can get rid of the branding and customize everything once you upgrade.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wanted to start livestreaming without the risk of random strangers seeing the link to a video call and spamming the presentation. This way only selected panel members can join the actual stream but anyone has the ability to watch. It allows more customization that streaming directly from YouTube but without needing more technical backgrounds.

  ### 36. StreamYard, a livestreaming buddy for years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John Michael A. | Blogger, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2022

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Streamyard at first made me overwhelmed beyond my expectations. Beyond that, I'm amazed to what this livestreaming platform has to offer. Indeed, my work with StreamYard is much better and easier than other live streaming platforms, simply because of the following reasons:
1. It's convenient, simple and easy to use.
2. It's hassle-free and you can connect to wherever you may use it.
3. The switching of cameras and live stream guests are simple to look at plus takes only seconds to make them available to be shown to the public.
4. The video quality is legitimately awesome.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

The biggest dislike that I wanted to see more in their next update is the zooming of the camera.

I wanted my guests to be seen into the deep aspect of zooming through them and be able to see their expressions in a zoomed manner.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

If you'll be streaming for the first time, first of all, try the FREE Plan which can take you to explore and understand it's features. Then, once you've been acquainted with it for a very long time, then, you can upgrade to a basic or professional plan. In this way, you'll be able to stream longer. 20hrs is enough if you're not streaming weekly or daily. But, if you're streaming daily or weekly, then you're acquainted much, 20hrs is not the best for you, you must upgrade to a plan. Plans could be quite expensive, but, if you have a passion for it, then, StreamYard is the best livestreaming buddy for you.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was finding for platforms that could help me benefit to multi-stream anywhere I can do.

Productivity wise, StreamYard has helped me to improve my streaming skills and be able to have the best time to stream in different platforms and I'm looking forward with more opportunities and features to look forward to.

  ### 37. Easy to learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niurka C. | Actor y modelo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2022

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

The most helpful about stream yard is the easy way to connect whit your audiences, we create series, classes, presentations, and we are able to create very instructive spaces. Easy to learn, practical and functional for professional classes, live or recorded shows, this is my second year on stream yard.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I dislike that other countries don't have access to this technology like us.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

good price better quality's

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very easy to communicate and create content for my youtube channel and educated my audiences whit qualities

  ### 38. If you want to go live on different channels at the same time, you can consider it

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sameer G. | Chatbot Marketer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2022

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Easy to use and customize the frame according to our branding. Viewers' comments can be shown on screen. People from different places can do the live in one frame. Admin has control over the audio and video of all the panelists.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Sometimes, I came through audio problems like echo, when multiple panelists speak together, sometimes it causes this issue, then after adjusting some settings or muting for a while, fixes it. Also, one time we had more panelists, and on StreamYard, you can have up to 10 panelists at a time, so we managed somehow by removing the speaker whose speaking is done.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

If you want to go live/broadcast on multiple YouTube channels and Facebook accounts at the same time, even with several panelists (up to 10), you can consider it.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Going live with multiple panelists, generally around 5-10, on different Facebook accounts and Youtube channels simultaneously.

  ### 39. I actually never give 10's in a product review... but StreamYard is different.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy F. | Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2022

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I stream live daily and sometimes multiple times in a day, and I have not used a more stable and incredible platform... and I have used most of them. I also repurpose the audio version of the show that is created by StreamYard, and it sounds great. , And on top of it all, they continue to make it better and better with new tools and revisions based on what customers want. Thank thank you, Geige and Dan.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I wish there were something I could say about what I dislike. But everything I have asked for has been done, improved upon, or fixed at this point. At this point, there is nothing to dislike about Streamyard. I would like fade options for transitions at some point. But that is a wish, not a dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

Start slow and use features only when you get the basics of running a broadcast down to be comfortable just talking into the camera. As you get more comfortable, start using some of the features as you get more and more comfortable. But take your time. Remember to have fun first and then add more bells and whistles to your broadcast.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

StreamYard solves all my broadcasting needs. Because of the quality of the recording, I can repurpose my broadcasts in audio-only form, print, and snippets. The growth of one of my podcasts is because of the quality of the Streamyard platform.

  ### 40. Simple multi-channel streaming or recording

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guy G. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2022

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Super easy to set-up, invite speakers, and set-up streams to live multi-channels or record for scheduling. No bandwidth issues, and allows you to move speakers around the screen or focus on speakers in a large window, rather than fixed recording window size on other platforms

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Can't really think of anything, to be honest... it costs to remove the streamyard logo, but that's normal. Occasionally some guests have an issue with different browsers, but I usually send the streamyard user tips to them, which helps avoid these issues

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streaming to multiple channels (LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook) setting up livestream events, and recording interviews and webinars for later publication.

  ### 41. Decent at what it's made for, could be much better

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin P. | Communications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Streamyard allows you to multi-stream across Youtube and Facebook using one platform in a reasonably easy way for the hosts. The setup isn't complicated, and it's all web-based, with no software to install, which is an excellent asset for inviting a guest or two to co-stream.

You get a lot of options as far as graphics: not only can you tile the hosts' screens as needed to accommodate multiple hosts, but you can add "lower third" style titles for people, do flyover titles screens, have custom backdrops, and more.

You can also use it as a means to record sessions with a paid subscription, even without an audience. Just select "no destination," and it'll record a conversation privately for you to distribute later.

The introductory price is reasonable, and there's a free version to let you test things out.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Stremyard CANNOT do Live streaming on Tiktok or Instagram, which is a downer because many of my audiences use those channels for content. If there were a way to incorporate those extra feeds into one big, wide-stream broadcast, this would be a slam dunk.

Customizing graphics is pretty clunky in Streamyard compared to others. You can't fiddle around with colors much, and if you want anything even slightly branded, you need to design the graphic content on your own using Photoshop or the like. Streamyard's training on how to do these customizations is pretty sparse. You'll have more luck looking around for Youtube creator tutorials.

The video quality on Streamyard is about on par with a Zoom or Skype call, often worse. You can upgrade to an HD video, but the HD tier cost is ridiculously high compared to peers out there who are doing HD quality for less or even free.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

I'd recommend using the free version of Streamyard before biting the bullet to ensure it meets your needs. Also, if you have a younger audience, Streamyard may not be for you. But if you have a heavy Facebook or Youtube following, and your customization needs are minimal, it's a reasonably accessible program with many potential upsides.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

During the pandemic, it's been an excellent way to engage with audience questions in a live format, letting several hosts hop in to answer questions that fall within their field of expertise. We will likely use this process post-pandemic to engage with our audience remotely from time to time. However, given the audience's reliance on Instagram, it probably won't be via Streamyard unless they adopt that as a channel.

It's also somewhat helpful in obtaining raw footage remotely when interviewing someone for an edited video project. However, as I noted earlier, the video quality is slightly sub-par unless you upgrade to the expensive HD tier.

  ### 42. Fun and New but Nothing Amazing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harrison D. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2022

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I like how easy it is to bring viewers into the stream and see feedback from anyone watching. This tool has allowed us (in the trial phase) to reach our team more efficiently than we had before. We can even have clients join a stream to watch us work or present in live time.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Streamyard does not have as many features as more popular options such as Zoom and Google Meets. The audio and video quality also lacks behind their competitors significantley.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using StreamYard to break away from the popular platforms with security issues. The switch to StreamYard started in 2020, and we stopped using Streamyard in 2021. Our clients enjoyed the experiences, but it is evident that it was not significantly more helpful to the better known and more accessible to use options.

  ### 43. GameChanger for my visuals

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

the storage for the videos that recorded

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Need more tutorials on how to use features

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having more face 2 face engagement with my guests from prior, increasing my exposure & likelihood to get more leads to create more opportunities

  ### 44. After hundreds of broadcasts Streamyard has never failed us...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg K. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I like how the interface allows for the instant insertion of graphics and videos to create fun and interactive broadcasts. When I compared some other platforms, none of them were as intuitive as Streamyard.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Not much. When we were looking for a broadcast platform, we needed something flexible and had a lot of features. The improvements that Streamyard has made are the ones we would have made if it were our platform.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Streamyard has enabled us to build an international community. It allows us to interact with them and brings the community together. We look forward to getting into the studio to start each broadcast.

  ### 45. Streamyard integration with Goldcast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2022

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

We find that Streamyard not only makes virtual transitions smoother, the branding and lower third capabilities are a big draw for our clients. More than anything, we find the using Streamyard on top of other virtual platforms actually makes them work more smoothly and helps us avoid their internal tech glitches.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Honestly, it's been a very smooth software to use.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

It is a great addition to Goldcast.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Additional brand representation for clients, smooth transitions, platform tech glitch avoiding.

  ### 46. StreamYard is quite User-Friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prof P J G. | Furloughed Adjunct Professor (part-time), and full-time retired, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

1 - As an invited guest, signing in onto Streamyard from an iPhone was very easy !

2- No account was initially needed to participate on the platform.

3 - Thanks to the StreamYard folks for having that all-important reporting channel for inappropriate/illicit content !

Note that my rating of your service would be 5-stars !

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Nothing is / was disliked. Everything in the first experience went well.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just starting out, but would report back later.

The Run of Show scheduling timeline document is very useful in planning the longer podcasts.

  ### 47. It was fantastic and incredible

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nadeem K. | Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2022

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

It can replace zoom. There are many layers and option to highlight chats. Also today I got to know about adding background music too. There are many new things and I'm still exploring it.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Nothing as such. I have seen integration with hoping and want to try this integrating with other platforms.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

It's one stop solution. Definitely worth trying and growing!

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly it's the live streaming problem that I've solved using streamyard.

  ### 48. Great Streaming, Branding and Customizability - HORRIBLE LOGIN EXPERIENCE

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eirik S. | Product Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Things I like:
- The flexibility you have with branding is impressive. You can select the styling for the live comments that come up during the stream. You can choose coloring options via HEX for most of the on-screen elements. And you can add your own logo and full-screen overlays to streams
- The multi-person streaming feature is seamless. We have not used it yet, but plan to have live guests on our live streams in the future.
- The private chat for guests of the live stream is wonderful

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Things I dislike:
- It would be nice to have an easier way to switch overlays during the live stream. The overlay selection is hidden in the branding menu, so when you are mid-stream and looking at comments, you have to click away from the comments tab and into the branding tab to change the full-screen overlay.
- The single code login is excellent for solo operators, but for teams, it's HORRIBLE. I can't update our company Streamyard account settings unless I have the account owner login to their email and send their login code. What kind of app doesn't have an email/password login? And they don't have great team settings either!

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for a better way of managing our Live Streams for community Q&As

  ### 49. Simple Streaming

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz K. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

LOVE how easy it is to stream to multiple channels, customize layouts and professionalize our streams. We use it for livestreams but also for events and meetings - and it's so reliable!

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

While we use it for events, it's not really designed for that so there is a need for more functionality for streaming to virtual platforms such as chat integration to make it a more meaningful experience for attendees.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streaming to multiple channels, ease of scheduling streams in advance, professionalizing our streams. We find this tool SO easy to use and so great for building our brand!

  ### 50. StreamYard Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael A. | English Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I enjoy a lot the fact that we can use personalized banners and even customize the color and shapes.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I would like to run more than one ticker at the same time and be able to move it freely (up and down).

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

As everything new, it may seem challenging at the beginning. However, while using it a couple of times, you'll feel soon like a pro streamer. It's extraordinary user friendly.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps a lot at the time to show short videos as the opening of your streaming, in the middle or at the end without using the 'share' option (like on Zoom).
