Between the ease of access to things like a quality chatbot, layouts, and donation tracking, Streamlabs provides new live-streamers with significant tools they can use to grow and get started. What do you dislike about Streamlabs? From a practical perspective, the software solutions are extremely bloated and unreliable compared to other live-streaming software. These solutions be replaced easily with better tools by those who know how to implement them, and communities exist to help smooth that implementation process. Holistically, multiple other livestream services have provided evidence that Streamlabs plagiarizes their features and their marketing copy. Recommendations to others considering Streamlabs: Before making the decision to invest in Streamlabs, ensure that you have thoroughly explored other solution providers. The Streamlabs software is more taxing on a computer's memory and processor than other software solutions in the field, so ensure whatever device you are streaming from is technically able to run both the software to stream as well as the content being streamed at a high level. I like the many options and ways to be creative. The people that work at Streamlabs are very supportive. The app is constantly updating itself and provides access to new themes and screen overlays. What do you dislike about Streamlabs? I don't like how it auto-updates. If i am scheduled to go live with guests waiting, that's not the time to have an app just decide to do an update. Often those updates require re-setting some preferences. Notify a user that an update is available, but let the user do a stream beforehand, and don't mess up his/her use of the application. Over the previous version (obs studio) streamlabs is a completely rewritten version from the ground up. It is not written in electron and that comes up with more easier plugin development too. However this is not mandantory becausd the software itself features a lot of new features like 1 click go live. Donation, follow and like alerts, ndi support, and a lot of new things.
