You still have to google a lot of settings that they don't just have it set up for ease of use. The support staff isn't that great or bright. It took them a week to tell me what I already knew that there was a issue with the login service. But they didn't care and I couldn't use the program for over a week before they let me know they were finally working on the issue since it's affecting more people. What do you dislike about Streamlabs? support staff were no help. i can log in to streamlabs.com via the facebook log in but on the application for stream labs i get an error. its curretly 1.4.0 on the version. INTERFACE If you use the open-source Open Broadcast Software (OBS) for livestreaming, the interface of Streamlabs OBS (SLOBS) is simple and easy to understand. Virtually everything is intuitive and therefore you can get up and running very quickly. THEMES/FEATURES You can choose from several elements to get your output exactly the way you want. OBS, in contrast, requires a lot more knowledge, experience and paid apps to achieve similar results. SETTINGS The other really helpful aspect of SLOBS is that unlike OBS, where you have to optimise your settings, this is handled AUTOMATICALLY. DRAWING/ANNOTATION This is a built-in feature and not requiring a separate memory hungry application. ALERTS Interaction with your audience is crucial and getting alerts on events within your Broadcast is essential. SLOBS makes this not only easy but customisable. The customisation is great, you can do just about anything you can imagine. The layout is similar to OBS, which those of us oldtimers will find easy to navigate. It means there's a ton of customisation, but it also means it can be a bit of a pain and take some Google searching to figure out how to do what it is you want to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Streamlabs? I tested Streamlabs OBS for four days at my church and found that it didn't have the same level of functionality as free OBS. I created 4 or 5 short streams of less than 5 minutes. They only way I could test it for my church was to subscribe. Since it did not function as well as regular OBS I requested a refund. I was denied. If you want a refund of the Prime version you must request it within one hour of your subscription. How can you test all of the functions in one hour? If you have the Pro version you can cancel up to 14 days after you subscribe. But the more expensive Prime version cannot be cancelled for a refund. So now my church is stuck with an annual subscription for a product that won't work for us. I would STRONGLY recommend using XSplit if you need dual streams. The tech support people there will work with you almost immediately. I was testing Streamlabs OBS because the interface looked simpler, I need other people to fill in for me. The features available make me wonder why anyone would use another platform for streaming. This works great when you are running a live stream for YouTube or Facebook. The UI is a little wonky and not as intuitive as it could be, should maybe take some hints from NLE software. Audio features get a little confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. You will also need a pretty good Internet upload speed and a robust computer to handle what you throw at it. With streaming you are dealing with a lot of data and processing power.
