I also like that it shows the flex and the static budgets from 6 months ago to 6 months in the future. **What do you dislike about StrataJazz?** It is a bit wordy. Also, I can't directly drill down to find out where a charge is on my own. **What problems is StrataJazz solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am able to recognize bogus charges easier and more efficiently keeping the overall budgets pretty tight. ### 2. The program has an easy way to learn within the software because this has an office integration such as excel that can be used for reports. Axiom gives us the ability to query data from the software and have been amazed of how it pulls data. **What do you dislike about StrataJazz?** So far the software has not given any known issues **What problems is StrataJazz solving and how is that benefiting you?** We solved many types of analysis that arose regarding our budget. The benefits that I realized is that this software is for analyzing and digging into business revenue. ### 3. The excel integration is extraordinary and makes it an easy to learn platform. On top of all the great excel functions, Axiom delivers many more functions geared toward making reports be able to do about anything you want. **What do you dislike about StrataJazz?** I don’t really have any current dislikes. There are a few functions that they continue to improve, but no complaints. **What problems is StrataJazz solving and how is that benefiting you?** Axiom is creating a more centeralized financial reporting package for us. All the information is in one place and helps avoid looking through many network locations to find a report. ### 4. Without this tool, our team headcount would need to be higher to accomplish the work. We are able to replicate recurring reporting in excel in Axiom EPM and then spend more time analyzing the results and looking out the windshield vs the rearview mirror. **What do you dislike about StrataJazz?** Nothing immediate comes to mind. **Recommendations to others considering StrataJazz:** This is a great addition to add to the Finance team toolkit. System is easy to learn, use and become proficient with. The excel like features will make your contributors and other users comfortable, single sign-on makes security easy too. There is a lot in the product offerings to explore. **What problems is StrataJazz solving and how is that benefiting you?** Primarily, we needed to replace the outdated budgeting application that had been sunset (no ongoing development) by the vendor (at that point owned by SAP). This product filled the primary need as well as enabled our team to move from excel based scenario planning and multi-year forcasting to system based as we now use Axiom EPM. This enables more efficient comparative version analysis. We are 3 years in and very pleased with the product. ### 8. It's very versatile. It's a "finance-owned" software meaning that my team can create reports or processes, create/edit tables, perform upgrades, add licenses, administer security rights and perform the majority of system duties without IT involvement. Axiom EPM empowers the finance team. It's essentially our datawarehouse and because it's easy to understand, both my staff and I can query data as needed. We often use Axiom EPM to get financial data because it's easier than querying the data out of our enterprise financial accounting system. **What do you dislike about StrataJazz?** So far there hasn't been anything about the system we dislike. **Recommendations to others considering StrataJazz:** The value for the price is excellent. You get a high quality product that is continually being improved and a customer support team that is better than I have ever experienced. **What problems is StrataJazz solving and how is that benefiting you?** We've reaped huge efficiences in our: market segment costing process, annual benchmarking survey that is highly detailed, financial reporting, forecasting, variance reporting and budgeting process. Every year we implement new processes or enhancements that are driven internally by the team or by organizational pressures. Axiom EPM enables us to successfully complete these initiatives. In addition, we are just now starting to reach outside of finance to a sister department to explore automation of their forecasting processes. ### 9. Best Investment we have made. Implementation was done for the most part via Go To Meeting.
