"Easy Browser-Based Editing Right in Chrome"
5/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

Very easy to use, and I liked how I could go back and edit if I forgot a step or wanted to show something differently. I also liked that it was right in my CHrome browser. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

I didn't love how it would turn some of the clips into videos, I wish that was a setting that I could just toggle off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Fast Interactive Demos with Seamless Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

Storylane has been super easy and fast to use when putting together broader and short, quick-hit interactive demos together. It is affordable for startups and the integrations make it easy to connect with marketing and communication systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

There appear to be some limitations with brand identity elements and some user experience issues when switching between different views when creating the demo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to make Engaging Interactive Demos - Price is high for the value provided"
4/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

It creates much more interactive and engaging product demos than static documentation. UI is generally easy to use, and it performs well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

While it is useful, for my use case creating interactive documentation it is an expensive tool for the value provided Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. We're glad to hear Storylane has helped you move beyond static documents and PowerPoints to create more engaging, interactive experiences for your customers.

"A Seamless, Game-Changing Way to Record Realistic Demos"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

It is a game changer in providing ability to show real demonstrations versus snapshots. I use it extensively to record demos to provide to my fellow co-workers so that they can be self reliant without the need to come back to me, or have access to the actual demo environment. To the naked eye, the customer can't tell the difference at all. No more worries about someone messing with the environment in between. Looks super seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

So far, it's been pretty flawless, and customer support is super responsive even when I'm under the gun to get something working Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Training Demos That Save Hundreds of Hours"
5/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

Creating training, demos, and product show cases is effortless. The ability to edit, add bots and work with the product is easy and robust. Storylane has saved hundreds of hours for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

Sometimes the "stop recording" lags which causes some extra steps being created. Annoying, but easy to fix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Step Building and Smoother Experience with Storylane"
5/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

Storylane is easy to use when adding steps and making modifications. It has improved with the latest updates, and the overall experience feels better than before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

It doesn’t offer a “Bulk Move” option. I’ve done multiple demos, and at first I didn’t realize folders were available, so now I have to move everything individually. Another issue is that the AI suggestions sometimes feel too invasive during my demos, so I have to be careful to avoid them. Also, with mobile demos it stays in a “mobile” screen size and doesn’t let me modify the canvas size unless I first edit the screenshot to “web” dimensions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Demo Creation with Shareable Links and Helpful AI Suggestions"
4/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

It's easy to create a demo, add the necessary text on each screen, keep the relevant screens, and delete the rest, and generate a sharable link to send to our audience.

AI helps recording the screens and adds suggested text to them. The text usually doesn't align with what I need to add, but it's a good starting point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

I have to "republish" every time I visit the demo, even though I didn't introduce any changes to it. And if I don't hit "republish", everyone viewing the demos thinks it's not up to date.

It would be nice it there was an integration with Pendo, so that we can add a storylane demo in a Pendo guide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Demo Creation with Seamless Voiceover Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

The ease of use and how quickly a demo can be created. Also, I like the voiceover option as it makes recording a lot more seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

While Storylane is great for a quick, simple demo, I feel that more complex demos are less supportive. From what I experienced, there are not a lot of features to leverage. I struggled with a few complex workflows and the content boxes showing up in one place but it's misleading when trying to move to the next step. I need to leverage the voiceover to let the user know where to go to next. It would be nice to have the flexibility to add multiple content boxes on one scene. "Easy UI and AI-Generated Demo Flows That Look Great"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

I like the AI tool that automatically creates the demo from your clicks. The UI is easy and the default flows it creates are super nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

Getting a hang of the software is kind of difficult at first especially if you make a whole ass demo and the AI assistant missed a step. I was constantly remaking demos until I figured out you can just add videos in separately from side recordings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Easy to Use, and the AI Update Significantly Reduces Demo Time"
4/5
What do you like best about Storylane?

Simple to understand and easy to use. The Chrome extension is almost a breeze to use. The latest AI update has redcued demo time significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Storylane?

The new UI change is a bit confusing to use and sometimes glitchy. Also dislike the recent folder-to-tags change, kinda confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
