Stormboard is obviously very visual, but I like working in that type of environment compared to purely voice or text-based systems that are quite popular in some circles. I think that using Stormboard's tool to diagram various charts for workflow and hierarchies is simple and can be managed from almost any user I normally work with at my job. I think that there isn't much to dislike since it has greatly improved our collaboration efforts. The price for Stormboard is something that could be restrictive, so if there were an open source version of Stormboard that could perform the same functions, then that might make me turn away from Stormboard. It is a program with which you get to organize certain points of your company within it, has options to have meetings with your employees or other companies within it, you can also translate your ideas in real time as if you had sheets and paper but in digital, you can make different designs and each of them can be different by the tools with which it has, is a quality program and easy to use. As far as planning goes, Stormboard has most of the drawing and note taking capabilities that would be available in actual pen and paper scenarios. Drawing out notes and using different layouts can be done in a matter of seconds with the sharp creation and editing tools in Stormboard. I like the variety of different materials we can use for the boards. They are very versatile and can be applied to many different types of projects and products. Using Stormboard can sometimes be difficult for newer users, especially those that haven't had much experience with digital design tools. It may cause the flow of some meetings to become awkward, so there usually will need to be at least one person that is competent enough to use the design tools with precision to keep things moving at the pace of the discussions. I like how the interface and writing tools we use in Stormboard look like paper and other real world items we might use to take notes and organize ideas. Moving items around a board can be done smoothly and intuitively. The reports are nice and concise and help us to break down collaborations quickly into neat and professional documents in various formats like Word and PowerPoint. I generally have had a positive experience so far with Stormboard, but I sometimes prefer to use a different interface like standard spreadsheets grids. We can type out ideas and organize them in a freestyle type of way. We aren't restrained to grids and information fields that don't necessarily capture the essential structure of our brainstorming session. I like that we immediately assign tasks and track progress through Stormboard. We can with people remotely and get things done regardless of where people are located. Stormboard works well with many type of brainstorming and assignment structures. We can lay things out with nodes, with grids, or just place items wherever we see fit. I think it takes some time to use and get a hang of. Even though there are features that allow us to get ideas going, getting it to work for us and particular projects can be confusing, especially when many people are involved. It also takes time to get a hang of the particular tools that allow us to organize data in a certain way and move the data to assignments and calendar items. I like to collaborate with my team, as I also love listening to many ideas and collecting them to discern and give you the best options, before my boss makes the final decision, and I love Stormboard because it is similar to a real blackboard, where the team can collaborate I will be editing the tasks within the project, in the form of sticky notes of those that I use on my desk to keep them in mind, I love the way you teach me to collect ideas in different ways, I like that tells me what project has priority and what elements I must execute in the precise time, my team has liked to work with this software because it is simple and fast to use, and that even any user can access regardless of the distance, their criticisms and opinions have been quite constructive, I like the reports that I throw at the end of each meeting, because they are quite detailed and I can customize them so that my team observed them e, but above all, my boss will see how the work is being carried out. Stormboard often feels like working with traditional paper notes, which I think makes it easy for more people to use. I like how we can generate many types of notes and connect them in ways that help us to move group ideas forward. There are many templates to choose from. I can sometimes be confusing when it comes to picking a template or format for our storms. This is especially true when we work with larger teams. Also, we use one of the paid plans, but I don't like how the Enterprise plan has way more features than the lower tier plans.
