"A great visual tool to OpenAPI projects"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Stoplight?

Very easy, intuitive UI. 95% of the features that openAPI has can be edited via stoplight, and integration with GIT is also very handy. Also, a big advantage is the possibility of editing it with your colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stoplight?

It has sudden downtimes, and it is very frightening, especially if you host your openAPi not on git but in Stoplight. Sometimes it gets lost connection with git, and you need to reconnect it... So it for sure needs more stability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic Platform"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Stoplight?

The site looks fantastic, and having the options of switching to a GUI/Form instead of a JSON hash is so nice. It makes simple tasks simpler.

The feel of Stoplight is exactly what we wanted for our documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stoplight?

The worst part is trying to get support. The support system feels like you're needlessly jumping through hoops. You have to generate a separate login to the support site. Feels very bad, especially if you don't keep the login information around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stoplight help to automatize API development cycle"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Stoplight?

The validations when design is in process. It's great to have an additional tool to identify how to acomplish best practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stoplight?

The number of users per license. I think could improve the number of credentials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional UI and great mock server"
5/5
What do you like best about Stoplight?

I personally like the mock server capabilities most, while a colleague of mine appreciated the UI as a way to write Open API documents without knowing the YAML or JSON syntax. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stoplight?

I would love to be able to configure mock server responses based on query parameters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Collaborate on OpenAPI spec"
4/5
What do you like best about Stoplight?

No learning curve, easy to create openapi specs.

Their prism testserver is really good to work with so it's easy to get up and running with a mock API very fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stoplight?

The UI is still a conflated.

It might be nice to integrate with openapitools so clients and servers can be part of an integral experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best API Development Platform"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Stoplight?

It helped me and my team in the creation of the API. The visual editor is the best feature of this application. It simplified my process in API management and creation. It helps in the creation of API documentation as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stoplight?

I personally feel that the pricing of this software is a bit high compared to other software and sometimes validating JSON can be difficult on this platform. Also UI could have been better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best GUI tool for designing API online"
5/5
What do you like best about Stoplight?

You don't need to install something, it just works out of the box as a web app - and you don't need to keep the API file in your primary repository.

I'm happy with grouping the entities by tags - a feature that other tools can't offer - usually, endpoints are grouped by path segments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stoplight?

If you have many endpoints, as I do, and the app is in design (edit) mode - it's not easy to find the endpoint because you have no access to tags. They are simply grouped by the path. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
