In our current project, we've relied on Stonebranch Universal Automation Controller (UAC) for approximately three years now. Prior to UAC, we utilized ESP, and the transition between the two was seamless, largely due to the exceptional support provided by Stonebranch. Their team assisted us in converting schedules from ESP to workflows, ensuring a smooth migration process. Our application is hosted on AWS, and Stonebranch's support was invaluable in setting up the application within this environment. Their assistance has been consistently prompt and reliable, addressing any issues that arise promptly. This level of support has instilled confidence in our team, knowing that assistance is readily available whenever needed. While I personally haven't worked with ESP, I can attest to the user-friendliness of UAC. It has provided our application teams with the tools they need to efficiently build and manage their workflows. The level of control offered by UAC over schedules has been instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our project. Overall, our experience with Stonebranch UAC has been highly positive, thanks in no small part to the support provided by the vendor. What do you dislike about Stonebranch? As a newcomer to scheduling platforms, I found the initial lack of comprehensive learning materials available on online platforms to be somewhat challenging. We utilize Stonebranch for automation purposes, managing a substantial workload of around 300,000 schedules in our process and we are still in transtion phase. It serves a wide range of functions, including the execution of Unix scripts and basic Cron scheduling. Stonebranch has been very helpful with us and they have been supportive of our questions and concerns related to their product. One of the most important things has been their ability to take our complaints and assit us. It has been fairly easy to use so far, implementing whn very wellwith our team. We use everyday and they are so many different options and features that we are still learning. Our integration team had one small issue and Stonebranch assist right away. Stonebranch allows us to easily & simply transfer files/data beween multiple nodes internally as well as to external vendor partners. We setup dynamic tasks/workflows utilizing triggers with local variables to speed maintenance and new transfer generation. Support is always easy to enguage and quick responding to a query. Trainers are very knowledgable and also available outside of training for suggestions and advise. Our organization has experienced significant improvements in workload automation and IT process management since implementing Stonebranch software. This powerful tool enables us to efficiently manage Unix control scripts, jobs, tasks, and IT processes across all of our on-premise, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud environments. Our BG user was thrilled with our prompt delivery of their data thanks to Stonebranch. We have found the GUI interfaces to be much simpler to operate than writing and analyzing 5K Unix scripts for each operation. In addition, we store our data in the Snowflake database, which has seen an increase in ideal processing time thanks to our newly automated scheduling processes. If you have built something and you need to orchestrate them in one single place, Stonebranch is the right tool for you. What do you dislike about Stonebranch? It's difficult to extend the platform to support customized connection which limits the usability. For a bigger enterprise with mature integrartion capacity, this kind of tool with limited functions could be easily replaced with middleware or BPM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. We need a single dashboard for end-to-end process statuses and Stonebranch is used widely inside the corporation between different business units which fits this reqirement very well.
