Stores data and they can offer to build specific reports for your company needs. We have been using them since April 2018 and they have molded SIQ to our business needs. **What do you dislike about StockIQ?** Having to do a refresh at lunch to update data from morning. Would like to see SIQ refresh and be "live" with EPR system. Hoping with our new EPR being on the cloud we could see this happen in the future. **What problems is StockIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently we are changing to new ERP system and they are working with our IT to streamline the change. Although the new ERP program had some forecasting capabilities, we choose to stay with SIQ. When we ask a question everyone at StockIQ answers quickly and when we bring up things we think will improve the system everyone is willing to try what we are asking. **What do you dislike about StockIQ?** The one feature that we are looking to have improved is how many companies we can set up getting forecast for and not grouping them in as "all others". **What problems is StockIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** StockIQ is helping to give us visibility on our slow move/no move/overstock. Friendly and patient staff, as happy talking with the pc guru's as they are talking to lay-men like myself. Pro-actively introducing webinars and other content to fine-tune use of their package. Newer layout dashboards help to review headlines quicker than ever before. **What do you dislike about StockIQ?** For us, it is purely time-zone related here. I have nothing else I dislike, webinars are useful, tools are great. However, with every forecasting tool, if climate dynamics are off, it can only do so much. **What problems is StockIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** SIQ was of great benefit immediately, helping us to house-keep our existing processes and find cleaner and more effective ways to manage and order inventory. Since Covid has had an impact on how stock is available, customers are trading and demand is being placed, it has assisted us in re-shaping also. It is a real go-to app for reviewing stocks, trends, customer's activity and problem stocks. Forecasting is very complex and there is a lot of data involved, but StockIQ does all the hard work for you so you can focus on inventory health. **What do you dislike about StockIQ?** If StockIQ could have a capaicty tool added, that would be great. And then also a way for the sales team to submit a forecast and then we approve it if we agree and then that becomes the new operational forecast. **What problems is StockIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** Making sure we have the right amount of inventory. Best forecast software I've used **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024 **What do you like best about StockIQ?** StockIQ is by far the best forecasting software I've used in terms of visualization and intuitiveness. I like the variety of reporting that's available, and the graphics/dashboards are actually helpful. Another highlight is how easy it is to work with technical support - the process is so simple. You just email the support team and they get right back to you; I haven't had any issues remain unresolved more than a few days (that's night and day in comparison to the support experience with some of the larger ERP/forecasting systems I've used at previous companies). Our company has only been on SIQ for about two and a half years, so we aren't fully planning in the system with no manual Excel processes yet, but we are certainly on our way there. **What do you dislike about StockIQ?** There have been times that updates go through that impact the way the dashboard metrics are calculated (i.e. excess inventory), which is tough because we use the SIQ metrics as our KPIs. We're in SIQ multiple times a day every day, so we were able to notice within a day of the update going through and the SIQ support team was able to fix it for us within a day. That's the one real gripe I have - the updates that go through and make changes to the way the forecast calculates/inventory calculates/etc. I don't mind an update (and I appreciate the frequent improvements) but SIQ is the primary software we're using to manage our inventory and forecasts, so unless we notice the change and adjust to it quickly we could stock out or have inventory excess. **What problems is StockIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** Forecasting is much easier and quicker, as it's not a manual process. SIQ's autoforecasts are actually pretty good most of the time. SIQ helps us understand our projected inventory positions at different time horizons, and helps make it easier to analyze what the root cause was when we find ourselves in an unfavorable inventory position.
