"Everything and more "

What do you like best?

Where do I start...

-Fantastic account team that is smart, responsive and patient

-Transparent pricing and publisher inventory

-Top notch creative testing and customization features

-Advanced tagging capabilities eliminate the need for a product feed, which was a huge selling point for my feed-challenged company

What do you dislike?

At times creative processing times are inconsistent (varying less than a day to more than a week).

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I highly recommend the Steelhouse platform, especially for companies who do not have reliable product feeds - or are looking for top notch creative targeting capabilities.

"Everything went downhill with the new platform"

What do you like best?

Easy to create ads using their tools. Daily email reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Very little visibility in their new platform and no ability to segment at all. This service was amazing before the changes, we were able to consistently achieve a 6x to 8x monthly return on last click sales and had good visibility on how campaigns and devices (desktop, mobile, etc) were performing. Now there's only one campaign containing desktop, mobile and Facebook.

There's no way to segment. For example, in the past we only targeted people that viewed at least 2 pages so we didn't waste spend on traffic that bounced after a single page view. There's no way to do this now.

Finally, they are putting a heavy emphasis on view through conversions. If a visitor see's a retargeting ad on Facebook and then at some point makes a purchase (without clicking the ad), Steelhouse assumes full credit for the sale. This is extremely misleading. Steelhouse provides a platform to easily retarget visitors on the web and on Facebook. The problem with this is there's no way to optimize your ads or segment the traffic so there's a lot of wasted spend. They also take credit for every sale tied to an ad impression.
