STATE3 Enterprise is an enterprise architecture and application portfolio management platform that helps organisations understand how their technology supports their business. It connects applications, infrastructure, people, business processes, vendors, contracts and risks in one organisational model. CIOs, enterprise architects and IT teams use STATE3 to see what they own, who is responsible for it, what it costs and what depends on it. They can assess the impact of a proposed change, identify overlapping applications, track contract renewals and understand how technology risks affect business operations. The platform brings together application portfolio management, IT financial management, technology risk management, request and change management, and IT service management. Each discipline uses the same connected information, so teams can trace relationships across business and technology when planning investments, preparing for audits or managing change. STATE3 keeps information current through scheduled connectors, bulk imports and direct updates. It records where information came from and when it was last confirmed. Through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), authorised AI assistants can query STATE3 in plain English. Supported clients include Claude Code and Microsoft 365 Copilot, with access governed by each user’s existing STATE3 permissions. MCP access is configured for each customer tenant. Built in New Zealand, STATE3 is designed for organisations with complex technology environments, including local councils, government agencies, tertiary institutions, primary industries, and ports and logistics operators.
