What do you dislike about StartMeeting?

While I like everything but I want to add some dislike, The application is restricted by its legacy design and rudimentary functionality. In contrast to industry rivals, the antiquated layout and basic toolset may diminish its attractiveness to high-end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Affordable and Intuitive for Online Lessons"
5/5
What do you like best about StartMeeting?

I use StartMeeting for online lessons, and it creates a safe space for my sessions. I really like how intuitive the screen sharing function is; just by looking at the screen, you know what to press. It's also affordable compared to other options out there, which is important as I teach online as a private tutor. I'm pleased to have found an app that I can afford. Additionally, setting up StartMeeting was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StartMeeting?

The interface could be more creative. It lacks AI integration and has limited functions on mobile devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless connection and great audio quality"
5/5
What do you like best about StartMeeting?

StartMeeting is incredibly reliable for our conference calls. The audio quality is consistently crisp, and the screen sharing feature is intuitive and seamless. I particularly appreciate how easy it is for participants to join meetings without having to navigate a complicated setup process. It is a solid, cost-effective solution that handles both small team syncs and larger presentations effortlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StartMeeting?

Honestly, there isn't much to dislike. It meets all of our business needs perfectly. If I had to pick one small thing, the interface could perhaps look a bit more modern compared to some competitors, but it is purely aesthetic and doesn't impact the functionality or performance at all. "Effortless Meetings with Reliable Performance"
4.5/5
What do you like best about StartMeeting?

I love how simple and dependable StartMeeting is. I can jump into meetings within seconds without heavy downloads or confusing steps, just quick and smooth access. The audio and video quality stay impressively stable even on average internet, removing a lot of daily meeting stress. I find the smooth screen sharing experience a big highlight, making it easy to explain ideas to teammates or clients. The onboarding felt simple and clear, allowing me to start hosting or joining meetings almost immediately, which saved a lot of time. It offers a clean, hassle-free meeting environment that makes my everyday work calls feel smooth and professional. I also like that it complements the other tools I already use daily, like email and calendar apps, without needing complicated integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StartMeeting?

One thing I feel StartMeeting could improve is the overall UI look and customization options. It’s easy to use, but a slightly more modern and customizable interface would make the experience feel more premium and engaging. Also, adding more advanced in-meeting collaboration tools (like richer interactive features or smarter meeting controls) would make it even more powerful for teams that want everything in one place. "Effortlessly Handles Large Meetings, Needs a Modern Interface"
4.5/5
What do you like best about StartMeeting?

I use StartMeeting for meetings with my colleagues and can interact with people smoothly. It has unique features that are really helpful. I like that it allows up to 1,000 people in meetings, which is very beneficial for me because my team is very large. The app helps us manage discussions with all team members, as it can handle 750 participants, which is not something many applications can do. The initial setup was very easy; just sign up and start using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StartMeeting?

I think some may like its interface and overall feel because it is very simple, but I find it a little off. I want some creativity instead of this boring look and feel. Add some new artificial intelligence features which many applications are providing right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Feature-Rich and User-Friendly Interface"
4.5/5
What do you like best about StartMeeting?

I use StartMeeting for online meetings and educating. I like that it offers a variety of options and features that competitors don't provide. The interface is user-friendly, and it offers a lot of features. I find the audio mode and hide mode particularly useful; the ability to hide yourself if you don't want to be seen and the option to share with host permission are great. I also find the initial setup better in many ways, with the user interface being very friendly and easy to operate. With so many features and the ease of use, it's a product I would rate 9 out of 10 and recommend to friends, colleagues, and relatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Platform for Remote Team Meetings"
4/5
What do you like best about StartMeeting?

I use StartMeeting to set up meetings with my team, which is essential for us since we all work from home. It's a good meeting tool, pretty fast, and has been quite helpful for our internal team meetings. I appreciate the remote training sessions; they're great for our team, especially since I'm transitioning from working in warehouses to working from home. We often use the drawing and annotation tools for presentations, which I find pretty unique. I love the option to have playbacks as well, as it just works well for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StartMeeting?

I think everything is pretty smooth. If I had to nitpick anything, I guess I will say the customization. You can add some more customizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, cost-effective conferencing with enterprise-scale capacity"
5/5
What do you like best about StartMeeting?

StartMeeting’s pricing model and enterprise-grade capacity are the standout features. The flat-rate unlimited-hosts enterprise plan and the very competitive per-host tier make budgeting simple and predictable. Feature-wise, HD audio/video for up to 1,000 participants, built-in screen sharing and drawing, plus meeting recording and playback mean we rarely need additional tools — everything we need for large meetings or webinars is already there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StartMeeting?

While strong on core conferencing, there’s room to improve in a few areas: the default storage (10 GB) can feel limited for organizations that record many long sessions, and some customers may expect more advanced meeting analytics, participant engagement metrics, or finer-grained admin controls out of the box. The UI and onboarding are solid, but could benefit from more modern polish and additional self-serve customization options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
