Then reviewers can add notes or files, reroute to others, indicate "not for me", etc. Stampli also has capability to record many different details about invoices like payment terms, department payment allocation, GL account line items, etc. Easy to integrate into process flows, easy to use very frequently and quickly. The routing and approval workflows, reporting and setup was quick and easy with very few issues. The dedicated service rep that we have, Sammy, is incredible. She puts everything in easy-to-understand terms and provides detailed explanations as to what each function does and how it is customizable. She responds quickly and always has a smile on her face. I have already recommended Stampli to a number of my colleagues at other companies. The AI chat bot has answered all of the questions that I submitted, and Billy has quickly learned our complex subsidiary structure (130 subsidiaries with regular intercompany transactions). The reporting function is easy to customize and provide real-time information for us to make informed decisions on work-load allocations between our multiple AP personnel. **What do you dislike about Stampli?** We've been live with Stampli for about a month and the only dislike I have identified is related to the email address for vendors to send invoices directly to the system. Since we have so many subsidiaries, we'd like to have some that don't include our parent company before the @. Adding the subsidiary names to the email address makes it super long and has confused some of our vendors. Also, when vendors don't send an email with a PDF attachment, the email is bounced back to the sender without our knowledge so we have missed some invoices (nothing serious). **What problems is Stampli solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our old process was very manual, with approvals occurring over email and taking about a week to receive responses back. This is drastically reduced our labor needs and the automated notices and reminders are a real time-saver for us. ### 21. They are quick to help when needed. When we implemented a new ERP, they were there immediately and dedicated throughout the process. I got what I was sold - it is a very streamlined and customizable platform **What do you dislike about Stampli?** Not too much. It is one of my vendors that I am very happy with. If I had to have a suggestion, it would be on the savable templates. They are not editable in a way that streamlines our processes, so we generally have to create a brand new template or deal with the way its done. (add a line in the template at the top for alphabetical purposes vs. having to add at bottom). Also, I wish there were more customizable workflows. We have to manually select the workflows b/c we have many managers for similar invoices. I've used other programs before that seemed to have a lag between when a charge is made on your account and when its available. Almost everything I've bought that needed and invoice for the card showed up immediately. I've always made sure to take a photo as soon as I get a receipt and now I can upload it within minutes as opposed to spending an hour filing through photos and matching photos to charges. **What do you dislike about Stampli?** I seem to be having some issues with the implementation and coding features of the invoices themselves via the app, my job is mostly remote and at times I have limited availability and time to sit at a desk. If I could be able to upload a receipt, then code the job numbers, memo, etc., before sending it for approval that would much this such an easier process. **What problems is Stampli solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves having to send receipts to someone who might have trouble coding them. ### 25. For example, if we have a vendor that requires a unique approval process (let’s say an extra layer of compliance review), it’s not as easy as it should be to set that up. You kind of have to jump through hoops to make adjustments. It’d be awesome if you could create workflows that adapt based on things like department, invoice amount, or GL codes—without needing a bunch of backend help every time. 2. Too Many Email Notifications The email notifications are another point. If you’re assigned to approve multiple invoices, you get a flood of emails for each one. It's great to stay updated, but getting 20 emails for 20 invoices feels a bit much. There’s no option to consolidate them, so you end up drowning in emails for tasks that could be grouped into one summary. The ability to customize or reduce notifications would be a game-changer. 3. The Search Function Needs to Be Smarter The search feature is fine, but it’s not super intuitive. If you don’t enter an exact match—like the correct vendor name or invoice number—it often won’t show up at all. For example, if you search for "Acme Supplys" instead of "Acme Supplies, Inc.," you’ll get zero results, even though the invoice exists.
