I appreciate that it keeps receipt and invoice tracking in one platform, which allows me to see and approve purchases made by my employees. **What do you dislike about Stampli?** I don't like having the lag between turning in receipts immediately and then having to respond a second time when they are executed. I usually just wait a few days until the transaction is processed, then submit them. Another thing is the Mastercard doesn't have a tap function. The auditability of messaging and changes to invoice details. Customer support is responsive and knowledgable (kudos to Adrian Contreras-Valencia). **What do you dislike about Stampli?** Doesn't have a purchase requisition feature nor does it store PO data even though it has access to it. It doesn't have a receiving feature so we are still doing our receiving on paper and attaching the pdf. I have to download every attachment to view - there should be a preview feature to see these. The reporting function is a bit lacking, accountants need open PO reports, accrual reports, and bill payment reports. These should be canned reports available in Stampli but since they aren't, we have to craft alternative reports in Stampli or in QuickBooks. The bridge between Stampli and QuickBooks regularly fails every Monday and has to be reset by IT. Bill.com already has a library of vendors who register their ACH information to their account and that releives the payer party of responsibility to check that the payment information is valid. As Stampli users without this feature, we have the tedious burden of connecting with each vendor to request ACH payment details and then per our SOX requirements, we need a secondary confirmation of the ACH details from a different party at the vendor company. **What problems is Stampli solving and how is that benefiting you?** It mainly solves the approval routing for AP. Without an AP automation tool, we would be either emailing digital invoices around for approval or worse, passing a physical paper invoice around for signatures. Second to that is having a database of all invoices that can be searched for on a computer instead of having to look through a file cabinet for them. Next I think having the communcation regarding each invoice within the system instead of in emails that are bound to be lost makes the auditability of our AP strong. ### 23. Stampli holds the bill sync to accounting software only after authorization to ensure the approval is done. **What do you dislike about Stampli?** Stampli doesn't have a payment gateway. Hence, payment has to be scheduled manually. Partial payment is not possible while applying the payment. user will not have access to view the pending items properly. **What problems is Stampli solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently, stampli is used for an organization that has foreign entities with different currencies, so it allows us to process across all the multi-currencies that bill.com doesn't allow. ### 26. You are able to continue conversations with prior support reps through chat tool. Very helpful. **What do you dislike about Stampli?** Their UI is confusing, shading choices dont make sense, there should ABSOLUTELY be an "in process" tab for AP coordinator. The fact that there is no way to mark up a PDF when reviewing is a big miss IMO. Often times we have invoices with dozens of items that need to be coded or crossed out. To only have a "comment" field is actually our biggest complaint and it is forcing us to figure out a workaround. Also, the ability to add a table with simple formulas to do math on documents would be amazing. Revised biggest complaint. When you are processing an invoice, they have the screen setup so the scroll on your mouse zooms into the invoice instead of scrolling down the invoice. Because of that, they force the invoice to fit a whole page in a small box leaving a ton of poorly allocated screen real estate to basically nothing. Additionally, they have done something to the original invoice file that reduces the resolution to a level that is legitimately blurry and not legible (I have 20/10 vision and am running dual 24" 1080p monitors). You can "pop out" the attachment to another tab but it does it at like 150% resolution so you can only see the top 25% of the invoice and it's not a PDF, its some sort of HTML file that cannot be zoomed without zooming the browser as a whole which zooms ALL of your other tabs. You can open an attachment but it saves the attachment and you then have to actually download it and then open it. They are super proud of their magnifying glass tool which is actually completely useless because it shows a super small part of the invoice and when you're looking at an invoice you need to be able to view and process the information as a whole. You can also zoom into the invoice on the screen but they've allocated such a small portion of the screen to the actual invoice you have to zoom in, read a piece of info, zoom out, then zoom into another piece of info. Additionally, they dont let you demo the true product until you actually purchase the tool which is complete BS. I've just spent a good 40 hours getting this configured for our workflow and our entire team is already bitching about how inconvenient it is to actually view the invoice... which is the entire purpose of the tool. **Recommendations to others considering Stampli:** Test your actual invoices in their UI before buying. **What problems is Stampli solving and how is that benefiting you?** Standardizing approval workflow and keeping all communications in a single place. That feature is AMAZING!! Super useful for audit backup because it contains the full approval audit trail. One wish I would have to add to it would be for the attachments to be downloaded with the invoices - if they did it would be the most perfect feature. **What do you dislike about Stampli?** Not sure if it is how my company is using it but it would be nice if Stampli offered a check cutting service similar to what competitors have. I feel that Stampli is meant to sync with larger ERPs where payments are processed through the ERP system, but it misses out on truly competing with more full service AP approval/processors. **What problems is Stampli solving and how is that benefiting you?** Invoice approval routing is simple and easy to use. It is very nice to be able to send questions to individuals without having to reject the invoice and then have it re-routed to you.
