StaffHub is retail team-operations software that helps store managers train staff, publish announcements that can be confirmed as read, and keep operating procedures in one place. It is built for small and mid-sized retail teams, including Shopify merchants, and is used by single-store and multi-location operators. The product covers the day-to-day operational communication that usually spreads across group chats, paper folders and verbal handovers. Managers create training modules and onboarding checklists, assign them to specific staff or whole teams, publish announcements, and see read receipts that confirm who has seen each update. Staff get a clear, prioritised list of what to read and complete, on any device. Main capabilities include: - Training modules with quizzes, completion tracking, learning paths and certificates - Announcements with read receipts, so managers can see which staff have acknowledged a message rather than assuming it was seen - Onboarding workflows and a document library for new hires - Store checklists, including opening and closing routines and end-of-shift handover notes - Team operations tools: messaging channels, polls and surveys, recognition badges, a skills matrix, audit logs, time-off requests and multi-location dashboards on higher tiers StaffHub also includes lightweight rotas and a POS time clock for clocking in and out. It runs inside the Shopify admin and as a standalone web app. Pricing is charged per location rather than per seat. A free plan covers up to 5 staff with no time limit and no credit card. Paid plans are Basic ($12.99/month or $129/year, up to 15 staff), Pro ($24.99/month or $249/year, up to 50 staff, adding multi-location dashboards and a skills matrix) and Enterprise ($49.99/month or $499/year, unlimited staff). Paid plans include a 30-day trial. StaffHub is developed by JMS Dev Lab. It is unrelated to the discontinued Microsoft StaffHub product, which shares the name.
