**What do you like best about Staffbase?**

Staffbase has been extremely helpful for a variety of reasons, though the biggest impact we’re seeing so far is the ability to keep everyone informed across the organisation. It’s also made it much easier to bring our multiple platforms into one, easily accessible space that staff can access on the go.

**What do you dislike about Staffbase?**

There’s really nothing we dislike about the platform. If we had to be very picky, it would be having a bit more influence over the site’s design, look, and feel—although a lot of this has already been addressed with the new page designer. It would also be helpful to have a mega menu, along with a few more options for the news widget layout.

**What problems is Staffbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit has been having one central place where everyone can stay informed about news and events happening across the club. Unlike news that goes out externally, this gives us the unique advantage of being able to highlight our staff and the great work they do behind the scenes. It has also created a space to celebrate and champion peers while recognising their achievements.

**What do you like best about Staffbase?**

It has a user-friendly interface and offers the possibility of having a mobile app, which is very convenient. We also have it implemented in Teams which makes it even easier for our employees to access. After getting to know the platform, which was relatively easy with all of the learning material provided by Staffbase, the setup was pretty easy and intuitive. It is easy to personalize, and the studio is also very user-friendly. I found my way around quite fast which makes it easy to create pages and content to share. The team is also amazing; they were always checking in with us and providing answers to our questions very fast.

It's easily accessible for all our employees due to the mobile app and Teams implementation. The social wall also creates an interactive community for all of them.

**What do you like best about Staffbase?**

What I like most is the quite clear structure and user-friendliness. Our employees, as well as admins and editors, quickly find their way around and use both the mobile and web app intuitively. The possibilities for expansion are also a big plus, as we have a lot planned for the near future.

**What do you dislike about Staffbase?**

Now and then, while setting up the individual pages, we had difficulties finding certain settings, as they were, in our opinion, somewhat "hidden". Some functions or changes can only be implemented with the help of customer support.

**What problems is Staffbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is always a challenge to make the exchange of information and general access to news from the organization accessible to all employees. Not everyone has been provided with the necessary work equipment (smartphone, laptop). With Staffbase, we were able to provide the app to all user groups in a very low-threshold and secure manner.

Staffbase makes communication across the organization seamless and engaging. I really like how easy it is to share updates, announcements, and news with all employees in one place. While Staffbase is a very useful platform, there are a few areas that could be improved. The admin panel can sometimes feel a bit complex when setting up content or managing larger groups, which makes it slightly time-consuming. Some advanced customization features are limited, so creating highly tailored experiences requires extra effort. Additionally, loading times can occasionally be slow when handling a lot of media or documents, which interrupts the otherwise smooth user experience.

**What do you like best about Staffbase?**

The team are helpful, especially the onboarding team. The online support resources are extensive covering many situations which makes onboarding the product much easier. There is also a helpful online campus to train up intranet editors.

The platform is helping us to reach new colleagues. The custom app in the app store is great.

The targeting features and built in email tool are fantastic

And helpful detailed analytics on employee engagement

Good range of APIs and integrations

Got administrator contrrol for communications team

Implementation took approx 25 weeks, largely caused by delays on our side. A working platform was built in just a few days.

Customer support so far has been fantastic and always receiving prompt responses.

Still a maturing product. Tagging features and targetting per news article rather than channel would be good

The Staffbase email platform is a very intuitive platform, making it very easy for colleagues to start using it.

Some of the features we're already used to (in Hubspot) are not available in Staffbase (for now).

Staffbase is our go-to platform for sending out internal communications. By using a single portal/tool, we make sure we have a unified process and it's clear for everyone what to use when sending out internal communications. It also makes it easier for the rest of the company to recognize trustworthy emails.

**What do you like best about Staffbase?**

The Staffbase customer support is second to none. From initial calls to implementation to monthly maintenance, I have felt supported all along the way. Their staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and they gave me all the tools our team needed to have a successful launch.

**What do you dislike about Staffbase?**

There are some limitations in the intranet side of the platform, primarily the landing pages and news pages separate which causes some challenges. But they're always seeking feedback and their product team seems open to new ideas and features, so hopefully they'll improve this in the future.

**What problems is Staffbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, our primary communication channel was Outlook email. Everything was a stand-alone email and there was no way to track metrics. We also used SharePoint as our intranet, which leaves a lot to be desired. Now, we're able to publish timely, relevant news articles and teammates can engage with it. We're also about to build email and newsletter templates for a consistent, modern look and feel. Lastly, we're able to track data which helps inform our decisions and strategy.

Staffbase helped us to connect to our frontline staff, bridging the gap between the organisation and their employees.
The system is very easy for creating channels, news and scheduling content, and the employees love posting their good news stories.

We live everythig about the product, nothing to dislike

Prior to this we had an intranet which was only accessible by home managers.
Sharing news and stories was very hit or miss, whether they would reach the front line staff.
Other comms would have to be sent to managers and then printed for staff to read, which added to managers already busy workload and also delayed those comms at times.
Now we can reach a high portion of front line staff very quickly and easily and see exactly what people are interested in.

**What do you like best about Staffbase?**

Staffbase is a very comprehensive tool which allowed us to create an internal communications platform with all the functionality that we required.  The Staffbase success team were fantastic and provided invaluable assistance to us in building and deploying our platform.

**What do you dislike about Staffbase?**

Staffbase is a relatively complicated tool so requires signifncant time and resource to deploy.  This is to be expected given that it is very comprehensive but without the right level of internal resource it won't achieve its potential.  The menu in the app version is a bit "clunky" and not as slick a UX as other mobile app menus.

**What problems is Staffbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our primary problem was that not all of our staff members have access to company e-mail.  There are also limitations in terms of what they can access on their desktop PCs because the majority of them operate in PCI compliant environments.  Staffbase has helped us communicate with all team members.  It has also allowed for 2-way communication and the ability for much more targeted communication.

There is hardly anything to criticise. Some of the specific features could be more sophisticated, such as the file manager. I'm hoping for more functionalities in the software in the future.

Communication between the national companies in particular has been significantly improved. The news function is great for sharing information.

Easy to work with. We can change adapt almost everything by ourselves and fitting to our needs.

The support is friendly and helpful. We had a great Team, that supported us during the launch of our App.

It is a bit inconvenient to change the profile of single users. Nevertheless it is easy to change hundreds of profile with a single import of data.

With Staffbase we can keep contact with way more colleagues. A lot of our employees work with people and have not always access to computers. Therefore it is great to have the App-solution.

The App is easy to administrate and develop also for non IT Admins. Staffbase is constantly working on optimising the App including custom feedback. Great Customer Support.

Some of the most important optimisations for customers need a long time to be implemented.

The platform offers solutions for complex communication needs and target groups. Also communicators without deep IT knowledge are able to administrate the App in most cases - so the dependence on the IT decrease to a minimum.

**What do you like best about Staffbase?**

When I was looking at new Employee Communications tool, I searches around the whole market to explore my options. I settled on Staffbase due to the breadth of functionality on the platform, and the continuous development with new additions being added on a quarterly basis. The project team were relentless and efficient in delivery of the app build and have helped us launch to the business. The biggest draw for me was the fact I didn't need our internal IT team to deliver the project - we needed them for the more technical aspects such as setting up app store access and linking to our systems but the rest of the project was delivered by my team.

Their experience has helped deliver a product that has been well received by colleagues in our business, with user experience being highlighted as being extremely positive. Our signup rate after just 6 weeks is on a par with industry benchmarks and we are now working with out Customer Success Manager to identify areas for improvement. The recently implemented Ai tools also help us deliver content which we would struggle to turn around being a very small comms team.

The fact we have an App, Desktop Intranet and Email system all in the same platform now makes our comms more efficient and we can react to important announcements quickly whereas previously our comms needed support from external designers.

**What do you dislike about Staffbase?**

I think the biggest issue with Staffbase is 'you don't know what you don't know'. The sheer breadth of functionality and possibilities within the App & Intranet is unlimited - the issue is knowing about some of the functionality that exists. I have come across things when in discussions with Staffbase staff, or on occasions with other Staffbase customers. The problem is implementing everything! 

The backend studio is a little bit clunky in places, but with the constant improvements being implemented, it is getting better all the time. Overall though, with a bit of practice, it is very intuitive and you can quickly create content on a page so any comms teams without IT or web development knowledge can easily create pages.

**What problems is Staffbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had an existing intranet which was outdates and was really frustrating and users didn't engage as a result of content not being regularly updated. We previously tried to launch an intranet with another company but abandoned that project.

As a company with a lot of front line workers, we needed a platform that can easily reach desk and front line staff. Staffbase has achieved this by providing the App (Frontline) and Desktop Intranet (Office) backed by an email system that can target all colleagues.

It's great as it gives you all the data you could need. When an issue arises or I have a question, their customer support is brilliant, shout out to Todd! He was supportive, friendly and answered in a timely manner until my issue was resolved.

**What do you like best about Staffbase?**

Since we started the research process in looking for a workplace app and new intranet, Staffbase stood out every step of the way. In initial conversations they had answers to questions, solutions to the issues we faced, and were never pushy about "getting a contract". I had around 6 different conversations with Staffbase before a contract was ever discussed. 
Once we made the decision, they assembled a great team ready to assit us every step of the way from building, content placement, and IT. Every time we had a question, they had a solution with great customer service. Our team started at "Yes" and went from there.
We built our app and new intranet in 5 months and there were multiple times in this process where I found myself saying "the more we work forward, the more it reassures me Staffbase was the best decision we could have made."
In the first month, the ease of use and user-friendliness helped in a 72% sign-up rate.

The only disappointing part are the forms. They were not complex enough to fit our needs and we used Cognito Forms that did integrate with the app.

It's great to be able to build a platform that you can fully customise with your branding and make your own. The drag-and-drop features make it really easy to use and we can build useful, fun and engaging pages within minutes.

The support from our Customer Success Manager is really helpful, we have regular meetings to review our progress and how to improve which really helps tailor our plans for business KPI's.

There are some features that we'd like that Staffbase doesn't have, we've requested these in their "ideas" portal and it's a case of hoping these get voted and the team at Staffbase decide to go ahead with the ideas.

We have one space for all our communications to our field workers and our office workers combined. This is also a main point of call for people to find information and resources they need. One of our key factors for Staffbase was that our communications wasn't one-sided and that people could get involved in conversations and have their say, which we can do with social boards and groups we've set up in our own app.

Staffbase has really transformed our email communications! Our emails look more modern and professional and it's fantastic to be able to report on our metrics.

Ease of use (being a team of one this is critical).

The customer service and support team have been invaluable during onboarding but also in supporting strategy development and reporting.

Good value for money.

Some design aspects do not pull through in Outlook - these are minor though i.e. curved buttons.

Not being able to add multiple emails in the test send, you can only do one at a time.

I would like a full integrated, real-time reporting dashboard (although I believe that's coming in 2024).

Intuitive nature of the product - although the training material is incredibly high quality, the intuitive nature of the product meant that I could get started with little to no training. Easy to use 'drag and drop' design - saves us a lot of time. Extensive reporting capabilities - particularly Flexible design capabilities - able to change sizes, assets and positions of elements easily. Useful, simple and high quality training / support materials. Engagement and support from the Staffbase on-boarding team - during this quick onboarding process, I felt incredibly supported and really appreciated the responsiveness and dedication from the Staffbase team to get the product implemented.

**What do you dislike about Staffbase?**

Only able to use the 'from' email address of the user account that you're currently logged into. Would be good to be able to change the 'from' email address at the 'send' phase. Inability to make text flow around images. Only able to 'test' an email to one email address at a time.

**What problems is Staffbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better reporting insight - our previous provider had limited reporting capabilities, which meant that insights were both basic and manual. We're now able to use reporting features in Staffbase, such as time of day, to make data driven decisions on when is the best time to send our comms so it lands.
Increasing productivity - the Staffbase product is incredibly intuative and user-friendly. Compared to our last provider, I am spending far less time in email creation and formatting, increasing my productivity and efficiency.

Staffbase has helped us to reach many colleagues who don't have a company email address. Especially in times of fast communication, Staffbase provides the optimal tool for us. The handling is very intuitive, and the support always helps us quickly with questions and issues. Soon, we'll upgrade our package and have additional tools available – I'm looking forward to that.

It borthers me that licenses from employees who leave the company do not become available again for new hires. You always have to purchase new licenses.

I find Staffbase email an incredibly useful tool to build beautiful emails that are aligned with our brand look & feel and at the same time collect insightful data. The information we gather in the back office supports us in making informed decisions about how we prepare and share internal comms with our different audiences across the business and allows us to flexibly change our approach when required.

**What do you dislike about Staffbase?**

I'm really happy with Staffbase email, and I don't have strong dislikes to share, only a few suggestions for further improvements. I feel the tool could become even more relevant if some features that add customisation are added to the package, such as the possibility to create custom blocks that can be shared with other users or groups of users. Also, the tool is optimised for Outlook and would benefit from migrating some useful functionalities to Gmail, such as the auto-count recipients.

**What problems is Staffbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staffbase helps my team prepare beautiful and well-structured email communications for various audiences across our Group, and get data that informs Managers, Senior Leaders and other relevant groups of stakeholders about the engagement of these audiences with our internal messages. Before Staffbase, we had no reliable option to send out a group-wide newsletter and we had no way of knowing if people were opening our emails and reading the information we shared with them.

The team at Staffbase are always prompt and friendly. I do appreciate the ease of use with the tool and the ability to manage our own distro lists, as well as send on behalf of executives. Oh and the metrics too. Such a game changer!

Lately we've been running into issues with our custom fonts loading when editing our emails. This issue is consistent whenever we use billeted lists. I'm also not a fan of not being able to delete templates or users that are no longer with the company.

The ability to send companywide emails on behalf of executives is a HUGE game changer for us. It's reduced time spent having to work through admins to get emails approved- cuts out the middle person. We also are greatly benefiting from our newfound metrics.
