## Stackline Reviews
  ### 1. The Single Best Resource for Amazon Intgelligence

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael B. | Group Category Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

Weekly updates with comprehensive analysis - ability to slice into ASINs / Categories / Trends of Traffic + Sales + Promotions + ASPs. The UX is extremely easy to navigate and the immediate ability to click out to a specific ASINs Amazon PDP is unmatched. When our org paid for the Stackline Advisor it was the single best AI product in the market. Extremely knowledgeable - useful - timely & insightful for a multitude of projects. Stackline customer team support is unmatched & extremely responsive.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

Ad spend generalization is not always accurate to true spend by a manufacturer

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Competitive intelligence + market shifts allows us to prepare stories to internal stakeholders and external merchants to inform strategic decisions. Pricing + promotion details allows us to shift strategies within the quarter vs waiting longer data sets.

  ### 2. Integrating Stackline into our Walmart eCommerce strategy has been transformative

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah K. | Omnichannel Activation Manager , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

Analytics. Stackline's Atlas platform offers deep insights into Walmart's marketplace. It provides detailed data on sales trends, market share, and competitive advertising strategies across over 750 categories. This level of detail has been instrumental in identifying growth opportunities and understanding our position relative to competitors

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

While Stackline's offerings are robust, it's important to note that their services come at a premium. The comprehensive nature of their tools means that the investment is substantial, which may be a consideration for smaller brands or those with limited budgets.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Limited Visibility into Competitive Landscape
Problem: It’s hard to understand how competitors are performing across Walmart.com — what they're spending, how their products rank, or where they’re gaining share.

How Stackline Helps:
Tools like Atlas offer deep category-level insights and benchmark data, allowing us to:

Monitor competitive share of voice (SOV)

Spot whitespace and over-saturated categories

Identify aggressive advertiser behavior early

2. Inefficient Retail Media Spend
Problem: Without automation and real-time insights, media dollars can be wasted on underperforming keywords or tactics.

How Stackline Helps:
With Beacon, we can:

Auto-optimize Walmart Connect campaigns in real time

Improve ROAS and reduce wasted spend

Test and scale keyword strategies faster than manual systems allow

3. Digital Shelf Blind Spots
Problem: It’s difficult to monitor and respond to changes in product availability, content compliance, or pricing across thousands of SKUs and retailers.

How Stackline Helps:

Tracks item-level content health and compliance on Walmart.com

Flags stockouts or pricing issues

Provides automated alerts so we can fix problems before sales are impacted

 4. Lack of Actionable, Granular Data
Problem: First-party data is scattered and often delayed or difficult to translate into action.

How Stackline Helps:

Unifies sales, search, and shopper data into one platform

Provides near real-time analytics

Enables daily, weekly, and custom reporting to inform decisions

👥 5. Shallow Shopper Understanding
Problem: We had limited tools to understand why shoppers behave the way they do online or how to influence them pre-purchase.

How Stackline Helps:

Shopper OS allows us to run surveys, gather behavioral data, and integrate with loyalty programs

Helps identify key purchase drivers and refine messaging or promotions accordingly

  ### 3. Powerful Retail Intelligence That Drives Real Decisions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** German R. | Senior Analyst - Ecommerce, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

Stackline has become an essential tool in our retail analytics workflow. Its ability to surface granular insights—like keyword performance, pricing trends, and competitive benchmarking—has helped us pinpoint exactly why certain products underperform, even in growing categories.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

The only thing is that the data have a 2-week delay, but it is close enough to make analysis.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stackline helps us bridge the gap between raw retail data and actionable insights. It solves several key problems:

Keyword & Trend Visibility: It identifies shifts in consumer search behavior, helping us adapt our listings and content strategy in real time.
Competitive Benchmarking: We can track pricing, promotions, and SKU launches from competitors, which informs our pricing and ad spend decisions.
Retail Performance Diagnostics: Stackline pinpoints why sales are down—whether it's due to lost Buy Box share, inventory issues, or creative mismatches—so we can take targeted action.
Category Intelligence: It shows us how our performance stacks up against the broader market, helping us separate internal issues from macro trends.

  ### 4. Accurate way to determine brand standing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ephraim M. | Retail Media Manager, Retail, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

I love that it's easy to see KPIs at a glance. Building custom segments is easy and provides a quick way to gauge the category and see where my brand stands within the larger landscape. It provides a lot of KPIs to further dig into market shifts, drops in sales, increases in MS, etc. Stackline provides an overall view of how my brand is performing within my category as well as broadly. Customer support is responsive. Full onboarding was done by another team with my team's input, and I've heard that the general integration and implementation was a bit tedious. I use it almost everyday!

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

The backend setup of segment creation can be tedious, but once done, it's a breeze to replicate for new segments and views. The time selection can sometimes be finnicky, but usually operates as expected.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a hard time knowing Marketshare and growth potential in our categories. Stackline helps us see where we stand and what we can do to improve our position.

  ### 5. An essential part of our digital team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cale O. | Sr. Manager of Digital Commerce, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

By far the most accurate, easily configurable, best-communicated software partner we have. Integration and implementation was a breeze with Stackline handling the majority of the heavy lifting. The super-intuitive UI (that's continually being upgraded and improved) makes it simple to train new employees or other employees in the company on use, and configurability allows each team member to build the service to fit their needs (examples: e-comm, brand, product management, and product development teams all tracking different KPIs). Our account reps are extremely helpful and easy to reach and our biweekly meetings on usage and new features are invaluable. We use Stackline's Beacon and Atlas services daily and they have become an essential part of nearly every workflow.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

Without guidance, the sheer amount of data can be overwhelming. Fortunately, beyond the support you get from account reps, Stackline has robust walkthroughs and detailed descriptions of nearly every part of their services.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily understanding Amazon as a whole from a subcategory level. With segments we're also able to easily build out custom groups of products to track performance across our own brands and the entire industry. Stackline's estimates for advertising spend, promotions, etc. all give us much clearer insight into how we index against our competition and inform key parts of our strategy from the total market share level down to content quality on individual listings.

  ### 6. Market Insights for a Niche Category

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tye B. | Growth Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

The market insights into our core category are invaluable to helping us build strategies and gauge our market success. Additionally the tools are very user-friendly which make them easy to introduce and get broad adoption. While the tools are simple, there is a great deal of data and information to mine.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

There are some limitations of the tool, gaps in the data that can skew results, but generally it is directionally correct and provides more insight than we would have without it.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem is that we didn't have visibility into the changes happening in our category in the broader market. We were limited to only looking at our year-over-year performance which gave a very limited view of the success of our marketing efforts. With Stackline we can get a much better perspective on the market dynamics that are impacting our category and build much more focused strategies to grow our business.

  ### 7. Stackline provides more than just syndicated data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff M. | Director of Business Intelligence, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

- Data searches are quick & easy for novice users to get results for daily use.
- Searches include visualizations for Trends and Comparisons making results clear.
- Images provided help narrow and verify results.
- Measures include $ Sales and Unit Sales, but also include Traffic, Conversions, Pricing,
Content and Ratings which can often help explain Sales impact.
- Flexibility to create custom groupings that may overlap Categories \ Sub Categories ,
   Brands and even product types.
- Access to keyword search results to optimize paid results.
- Trended Market Share over multiple Time Periods to gauge long and short term marketing
   results.
- Implementation was incredibly easy with full customer support throughout the process.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

- Unable to combine Retailer results for total channel results.
- Limited data exportation options if you do not use API.
- Lack of Item attribution (Size, Form, Benefits, etc..)

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Below are the primary problems Stackline has helped solve for our organization:
Online Market visibility - Prior to Stackline we were limited to only knowing our internal sales and growth along with any information that the buyers would share.
Category Trends - With Stackline we can see category trends nearly as soon as they happen with weekly data refreshes
Consumer Insights - Through Keyword Search access we were able to better understand what consumers are searching for to adapt our Item Content as well as guide our product development
Traffic \ Conversion - Using these measures we are able to see the impact of paid searches and promotions, which helped us adjust our marketing spend

  ### 8. Invaluable category insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily S. | Digital Marketing Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

Stackline unlocks category insights that I wouldn't have access to otherwise, understanding the category size of prize, comparative scale of competitor ASINs and the drivers of performance

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

Setting up and maintaining keyword lists is quite manual.
Comparing performance drivers of competitor ASINs takes time to click through multiple screens as it's not easy to see these side by side.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's giving us visibility of how we're performing relatively compared with competitors on Amazon, it gives us a much more rich view vs. looking at SFR and most clicked/converted ASINs within Vendor Central. It allows us to dive into what's working for us and the top products in our category allowing us to focus our efforts in the right places. Before I used Stackline, I was working blind when it came to the size of my competition and what was driving their results.

  ### 9. Reliable Amazon Market Share Tool with Great Support, but Data Access and Flexibility Could Improve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

Trustworthy source of truth for our organization for understanding market share on Amazon and using that as a proxy for the whole online picture
I use it a couple times a week
UI is mostly intuitive
Ability to create custom segments, business units, topics is useful
Ability to include/exclude specific products is useful
Service representatives are very helpful and responsive, and keep us in the loop with new innovation / tool updates. They also send periodic category updates that are insightful for understanding emerging trends, new entrants to our categories, standout competitors, etc.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

Bulk download of data is slow and often breaks
Default weekly breakout is also difficult to work with sometimes because most business reviews like to look at monthly or quarterly
Never feel like I'm getting the full picture because only limited to categories that I am subscribed to
Because we work with a third party, we aren't able to integrate with seller central API, leaving a big gap in Beacon data

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gaining full understanding of the competitive landscape on Amazon (which we use as a proxy for other parts of the online business)
Identifying emerging trends in categories, products, brands, keywords, etc.
Quick snapshot of price sensitivity, promotional activity, content updates, etc and impact to conversion

  ### 10. Insight Masterclass!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

I love the ability to use stackline to analyse the sales in each markets and separate 1p and 3p sales so easily - it has made us aware of opportunities and helped us form business plans. There is also a wide range of features and we can segment those features to retrieve our desired data. Further the customer support has been fantastic!

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

There are times that when you get to the very granular detail it isn't always 100% accurate - despite this it's still a great tool and any issues we have had have been resolved quickly and efficiently

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main issue we have had is 3p sellers - by using stackline we are able to see the exact numbers and opportunity the 3p sellers are taking from us, and so we can optimise and plan for the future

  ### 11. Essential Tool for Product Research and Amazon Growth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

Stackline has been an absolute game-changer for our e-commerce strategy, especially on Amazon. We’ve used a variety of tools over the years, but none have matched the depth of insights and user-friendly interface that Stackline provides.

The platform makes it incredibly easy to analyze product performance, track market trends, and uncover competitive intelligence. It’s helped us make data-driven decisions about which products to launch, how to price competitively, and where to optimize our listings.

What really sets Stackline apart is the quality of their analytics and the actionable nature of the insights. The data isn’t just numbers—it tells a story, and that’s helped us stay ahead in a competitive space.

If you're serious about product research and scaling on Amazon, Stackline is a must-have. It’s become an integral part of our decision-making process.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

That the data is 2 weeks behind and not more immidiate

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

stackline solves one of the biggest challenges in e-commerce: knowing which products are actually worth launching. Before using Stackline, we spent a lot of time and resources testing product ideas that didn’t always resonate with the market. Now, we’re able to validate concepts early, analyze trends, and cut underperforming ideas before they cost us money.

The platform gives us clear, data-backed insights into what’s selling, what’s trending, and where the competition is heading—especially on Amazon. It’s helped us fine-tune our product lineup and focus only on ideas with real potential.

Thanks to Stackline, we’re no longer relying on gut instinct alone. It’s become our go-to tool for smarter, faster product decisions.

  ### 12. Indispensable Information for the Whole Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

Stackline provides consolidated information that is difficult to find anywhere else. My team uses BeaconPro and Atlas daily, and multiple departments use ShopperOS weekly or more. The information is provided in easily digestible graphics, which make it easy to share even with those unfamiliar with the software. Additionally, Stackline's customer support is really excellent. They keep us up to date with latest features, and they work with us to make sure we're making the most of their abilities. They really are constantly improving in response to customer use cases and requests.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

Stackline can be pricey, especially if you want to add a lot of categories to your package, but I think the service is truly worth it.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stackline helps us understand the state of the market for our various retail categories. We can see how our traffic, spend, and sales compare to our closest competitors, and we can keep track of how other brands in each category respond to changing market conditions. This helps us make informed strategic decisions and monitor the effectiveness of our strategies.

  ### 13. Great platform, easy to use and analyze

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

This is a great platform to see competitior data. I appreciate how you can go into the subcategories of the main segments and also filter by subcategories when looking into segment data. I did see that they have added new features on consumer insights, I haven't needed to use that function yet but I do think it is super useful just by playing around in it, and was a great idea to add to the platform

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

The program is very slow and laggy so it's not that great in that aspect. I also wish there was a better way for how you download data to compare segments/brands / products YoY. It gets confusing having a "main" and a "comparison" for each line in the report. I wish it was more similar to SPINS where it showed YA performance in the columns

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stackline is helping us solve the gaps we see in other category data reports on Amazon. It's very helpful to especially see how much money other brands are putting towards promos/search/etc. over time, and how that affects the product performance. I think if stackline would be able to intergrate the consumer insights features into the landing pages of each of the brands/products it would be so helpful seeing it all on one screen!

  ### 14. Stackline Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert F. | Senior Sales Manager, Amazon, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

Creating my own busines segments that I can save and quickly reference when I need to pull data.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

Sometimes it's a little confusing where you have to click into to find the data you're looking for. A futher breakdown of subcategories is also beneficical.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stackline helps me determine share and size of the prize at Amazon. Let's us know how big is big.

  ### 15. Incredibly useful and versatile tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

I like that stackline is very user friendly and easy to understand. I can look at many different metrics on one page or zoom into specifics and get down to the grain. The team is also super friendly and helpful, and always respond to questions quickly! I use stackline weekly to check market share/category data.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

The only issue I have with Stackline is that the different application live on different pages, and it can get confusing switching between beacon and atlas.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stackline is helping us track market share in categories of note, which allows us to share with key stakeholders where we are stealing marketshare from competitors. We have also begun to use stackline to help us manage chargebacks, which has helped us in scaling back hours spent disputing, giving time back to manage other parts of our business.

  ### 16. Great application with good user interface

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

Wish there was a way to pull in YoY comparisons or other types of calculated measures

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stackline helps me pull sales and marketing about the brands I cover and helps me see how competitors are performing on Amazon. Gives me the data I need to provide business recommendations.

After one of the last updates the dashboard changed, I liked the tables more than the new charts

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The one tool in which we can best monitor our competition on Amazon and our own market share on Amazon

I enjoy using Stackline. The platform is straightforward to use and it is quite intuitive. It offers plenty of information covering a variety of metrics. It's easy to download data and they also have an API so you can pull in the data directly. Stackline teams are excellent, everyone loves working with the Customer Strategy Managers.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

When it comes to product categorization and segmentation, there could be some room for improvement especially when it comes to non-English speaking markets. Nevertheless, if there's anything incorrect it gets resolved asap.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking sales in value and in units, monitoring market trends, looking at competitive performance.

  ### 27. Stackline is an easy analytic tool

There are some nuances around market grouping which may allow items that do not fit the segment to regularly appear in the group, which makes it somewhat timeconsuming to audit.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us access to market share data for customers that we wouldnt normally be able to get data from such as unlocking market share data

  ### 29. The must have tools for taking big businesses to the next level on Amazon

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle M. | eCommerce Media Manager - Amazon, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Stackline?**

There is no shortage of data you can tap into with Stackline tools. Their dashboards make it easy to identify market opportunities, see where competition is gaining share, and manage ad campaigns and ad investment. Their tools are powerful and the managed service team is TOP NOTCH. I've worked with so many Amazon ad agencies, and none come even close to comparing to Stackline. I moved my organization from Flywheel (Ascential) to Stackline and I couldn't be happier with that decision. The team is sharp, attentive, detail oriented, organized and so kind. I use Stackline Becaon and Atlas all day every day and I'm still surprised at the number of insights I'm able to uncover from their software. They have a 1 month integration / on-boarding, then it took about 5 months to transition our 700 advertised SKUs to their structure and it was painless.

**What do you dislike about Stackline?**

Billing is a little complicated to sort out. They don't have a streamlined pricing model, so it can be difficult to manage/forecast agency cost because nothing is a cut and clear price structure. Their sales team doesn't communicate well with their account managers, and sell pricing and features that are disconnected from reality.

**What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stackline's Atlas tool gives directional insight about what's happening in the Amazon marketplace, to be proactive about threats and opportunities. The Beacon tool makes analyzing sales performance much more streamlined, and Drive is a sophisticated tool that uses automation for managing and optimizing campaigns. I am able to visually lay out the relationship between retail sales and retail price, see how organic traffic is growing with ads, and so much more.
