"Stack Overflow for Teams is a great way to share company/ process specific knowledge"

What do you like best about Stack Overflow Internal?

So I can only speak for myself here, but I like two things. First of all, the straightforward design makes for a good user experience. Also, I like the idea of having a "library" of common knowledge for your specific use case. Especially for newer people, it's an excellent way to know the common problems and bugs that occur. If something doesn't work, I always check Stack Overflow Teams first. Maybe one of my coworkers already posted an answer. If I find a bug and know how to solve it, on the other hand, I will ask how to solve it in our SO-Teams and answer myself. This way, the specific error case is documented for the future.

What do you dislike about Stack Overflow Internal?

I honestly don't dislike anything. Since I've only been using Stack Overflow for Teams for about three months now, there could be things that I haven't experienced, but for now, I am pleased with the state of the site.

Recommendations to others considering Stack Overflow Internal:

We often use the "answer yourself" function. It's a great way to inform others about the solution to a reoccurring problem. You ask the question regarding the issue and just answer yourself under it. This way, if somebody searches for a problem they have, there would be an answer already! It's a great way to reduce the time it takes to solve problems. Also, the documentation of frequent problems helps to plan ahead and reduce the problem solving time.

What problems is Stack Overflow Internal solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it as a "library" to share common knowledge that we need every once in a while. This way, you don't have to ask the same question over and over again. It also is used to ask a bit more complex questions, of which the answer could be beneficial for everybody in the company.

I can't think of anything really. It's basically SO but internal!

We can now ask questions internally without cluttering MS Teams! We also have a history of any previous questions meaning a huge repo of all of our things we've learned as a business
