When everything works correctly its the best and easiest way to remote access servers. Leading it to be used daily and adopted very fast by customers for its improved security. What do you dislike about SSH PrivX? The documentation needs work, there are multiple pages with circular advice or just missing crucial information. Same with the troubleshooting knowledge base. I like that it eliminates the need for key lifecycle management, since SSH key rotation is otherwise a manual process. PrivX also acts as an internal authentication authority by issuing durable certificates, and I really appreciate its native integration with identity providers. What I like most about SSH PrivX is how easy it makes secure access without needing to install agents everywhere. The just-in-time access and clear role-based controls give us both flexibility and peace of mind. One thing I’d say could be improved with SSH PrivX is the setup process. It can feel a bit complicated, especially when dealing with multiple systems and users. Some of the features aren’t as intuitive at first, so it took me a little time to get the hang of it. Also, while it integrates well with major identity providers, I think more pre-built connectors for different systems would be helpful. Customer support is generally good, but it can take a little back-and-forth to get to the solution sometimes. Once it’s all set up, though, it’s pretty easy to use day-to-day.
