It’s so troublesome to switch because it’s deeply integrated into so many aspects of my business, and that’s honestly what has kept me from switching. But it has the WORST customer support I’ve ever experienced in my entire life—truly, and this is not an exaggeration. The product itself also feels so messy that it’s nearly impossible to search for anything or find things where they used to be, because everything is constantly being reorganized or reshuffled under a different product line.

But the support is SO bad that I would not recommend it. I spent 2+ hours trying to understand why a discount wasn’t working as set up, and they escalated it all the way to advanced support, then “resolved” the issue without even telling me what they did or how it was fixed. So I lost 2 hours of my life AND revenue. Weebly aka Square online also has atrocious support which seems to be a separate team from the main square support. I find Square Point of Sale incredibly useful for invoicing and sending estimates to clients. I really like that I don't have to be face to face with the client to exchange information, which makes it a real time saver. I also appreciate that I can set up templates and products ahead of time, enabling me to create estimates in no time. The customer-facing interface is clear and easy for clients to understand. I really appreciate the ease of use with Square Point of Sale. It's easy to get started using it and setting it up, which only takes about five to ten minutes and is pretty straightforward, seamless, and easy. I also like that it integrates with Joiste, the application I use for writing estimates and invoices. This integration allows me to use them in conjunction with each other, making it really convenient. The process of sending estimates and creating invoices through Joist, which clients can then pay through Square, is all automated and goes straight into my account, so there's nothing else that needs to be done.
